I don't know much about the eagles as I haven't seen them play this season. But I just dont't see them beating GW I know we lost Trey Skeens but we are not a 1 back team we have a stable of great backs most of which are faster than Trey. And yes I know that no one gave them a chance against fc but I will also say fc was missing there best player on D in Turner and ther best player by far on O in Ward. Had these 2 played I think fc wins by 3-4 tds easy but they didn't. So now it's GW turn if we can get the run game going and cause them to go 4 and out it will get ugly fast. We can't allow them to go on half a quarter drives from what I hear this is there whole game plan eat the clock and score late and low. This game will be a battle of the tempos if we can keep it fast they stand no chance. If they move down the field at a snails pace and try to take the whole game away and control the clock could be close. With that said I got GW 56- Aub-21 again this is my opinion what's your's?

You are way off. Auburn just may be able to control the ball, and the suggestion that the teams will combine for 77 points is way too many.
Everybody keeps talking about FC's Ward being out but Auburn also lost their starting tailback in the first qtr against FC. He has right at 900 yards and when teams pack it in to stop Nelson they hit the corners with him. This hurt auburn last week. They had to play a freshman there for 3 qtrs. He had a dislocated thumb but i think he might play this week. He is also the punter. If GW stops Auburns inside running game w/ Nelson they will probably win the game. If not, it will be interesting.
Auburn has surprised many people with what they have accomplished the last 2 years, it speaks volumes about the coaching job Coach Turner has done and the work put in by the players, but I have said they are not in the same category athletically as GW, Radford, Galax etc.
Wow. I sure hope you seek out counseling soon for your broken heart. I can only imagine the pain you must feel since the mighty FC was BEATEN by what you obviously feel is a mediocre team like Auburn. Once again just as last week they do not have a chance in this world to win this game as seems to be the majority opinion. I personally am just thankful that games are ultimately decided on the field of play and not on these boards because apparently poor little Auburn should not even be competing with teams like FC or GW. We shall find out soon enough who moves on and who packs it in for the year but either way win or lose Auburn will show up and will compete with GW and that I assure you and when its all over the better team will move on.

Just in case you didn't know, GW is and always will be a big rival for FC. Most people pick against their rivals. I have watched both teams play this year and GW is the better team. Plain and simple as that. Most people want the team that beat them to keep winning, just to say. the team that beat us is still in it. Most Auburn fans will be watching the girls win another state title in volleyball. BTW I got my jollies off last night. You need to fix that window.

Anyone who was at the game today as I was saw that auburn didnt deserve to be where thay got to. GW was so much better at all the skills poss it wasnt funny. We ran at will without our top back if Skeens had played we would have hung 50 or more on auburn with ease. And like you said the best team won and the team who should have already been playing with basketballs saw what it was like to play a superior team in every way. Oh and congrats to getting that 7 on our backups we had the starters for D on the bench resting for a real team.
