Go up 13 then go full retard. I'm extra pissed at our defense.

Re: GYERO

Good grief. Rebound.

This is the first time I have had a really bad feeling, including the OT games.

Go Cats!

Re: GYERO

Josh Gray has been one of our best players. That dude has cost LSU a few games this year.

I'll tell you what they are NOT calling tonight, and that's over the back. Which is just fine by me. I hate that faggy call.

Re: GYERO

I am relieved we only have 3 away games left. But we've given up 50% FG in the last 3 games. That is totally unacceptable and worries me the most.

Back to the drawing board on defense.

11-3 run to close the game tho.

We didn't reach the bonus did we?

Hey. NOBODY ever said Karl Towns was A stiff. People said he WAS stiff. And it's a huge difference, and for the first 15 or so games, he was stiff. But he was never a stiff. Dave Bliss was a stiff.

Re: GYER24-0

The 6 points or more platoon defensive scheme was unreal. We played badass D. Calipari has so many innovative ideas, maybe we couldn't do it because of Lyles being out BUT I honestly think he has forgot this great ideal the past few games. Can someone call in Monday night and remind him of this????? We were badass in this scheme

Re: GYERO

Shew wee!

at Cawood. "I Called, I said, I predicted..." -- what a genius, that our Top 3 draft pick coming on late would be a key. Umm, yeah...basically everyone else has said the same thing, including myself comparing him to Davis, who also "came on" and expanded his game late in the season. You da man.

-My boy Willie was pretty big tonight.

This team has some clutch in them, it seems.

Can't believe, well I can, that LSU went for the win...I was rooting for OT, personally -- the ONE thing I didn't want to see was a Hornsby 3 ftw.

Whew.

Re: GYER24-0

Which he does, and has ALL YEAR..until the past few games.

Still, even his biggest critics thought he'd really improve late in the year...and it seems he finally is -- Despite his bone-headed plays that basically erased our 13pt lead, he was huge before/after.

Don't mind Cawood, he's a C-level poster constantly looking for approval from the posting elite.

Come on man. Own it, I bet if Saul Goodman were to get a hold of your texts it would prove your distrust in KAT

Re: GYER24-0

As I've said all year, I've known exactly how good every single player will play and or has played and will play at every moment this season, just as I said and predicted.

Re: GYER24-0

I stood by KAT while others decided that he was a stiff. I thought his production, especially offensively could get us 9. Now that he's playing good the muppets are on hand talking ****.

Re: GYER24-0

-KAT did play stiffish most of the season. I think mostly because he hadn't figure out how to get position with his body. He just kept having slap fights with everyone. He's learning how to use that base and it's gorgeous.

-I don't know if it's confidence or stupidity but the guys cutting up and smiling down 3 in the last minutes makes me a little uneasy. I haven't thought we needed a loss all season but I also don't give a **** about being undefeated. I'm ready for an L. Might be like Mike Bean and start cheering for one.

-I love the clutch but I hate the way they gave up that run. Again, if KAT lets go of the rim and the tip goes in the game probably ends as a snoozer.

Umm, again, NOBODY has ever said Karl is "a stiff"

Cawood staking his claim as the worst poster that isn't quasi-banned from GYERO (Loserville, catsfanbg, etc)

Own what? That he played stiff? Sure, I own it. He played stiff. Awkward. Weak post moves. Got the ball stolen from him all the time. He's slowly starting to figure that out, which is perfectly normal for a freshman. But he's still a bit stiff. Not as stiff as Dakari Johnson tho.

You thought our Top 3 NBA Draft pick's production could help us win a title?

Damn, I stand corrected.

Somebody else put this creep out of his misery.

But FTR, just like I said, I also think that Aaron coming around and playing well (and not shoothing 5% from 3), along with WCS, Booker, Ulis, Drew and Lyles would also play a role in us contending this year

Re: GYER24-0

KAT is evolving offensively almost like Cousins did albeit one month later. Credit to Chad for pointing this out.

Also, Towns was getting onery on the boards tonight. Love it.

...not sure it's close, either. Jackson is one of those guys that just "works" with his team (Mazzulla)...and I respect him, but just sayin.

Yeah, but if you are being honest you thought he sucked and he was a bust. True touch story. If you were honest or any real kind of man, you'd admit that. But instead you are full of **** and deny

^ thx.

-Cawood is thisclose from being my first blocked GYERO poster ever. I haven't even blocked Chief, if that says anything.

...and based on the super secret text, I'm not the only one. Know your place, stick with golf. Do not respond to this.

Re: GYER24-0

Defensive PPP in the last 4 games:

Bama - 1.06
UGA - 0.91
@UF - 1.00
@LSU - 1.08

Number of opponents with >0.90 PPP in games before those 4, 3 (Miss, UNC, and Columbia). Having 4 of our 7 worst defensive games occurring in a row is an unsettling trend.

A defense that once prided itself on making life difficult inside the arc is now getting eviscerated in that area. Our last 5 opponents have shot over 50% on 2's. Luckily we have some games still left to fix this. I don't know if it will require the dreaded "Z-word," but we need to figure out how to properly handle screens and keep our bigs from getting too far away from the hoop so they can provide help defense.

We were bound to have some tough games throughout the course of the SEC season. Nobody is great every single game. Impaling USC this weekend would go a long way towards letting us forget about a rather underwhelming 4 game stretch.
