It is awkward. he will dogcuss Towns up & down, call Marcus Pee a lazy sack of ish, but seemingly has to treat 5 with fluffy gloves. feels like we could have 4 other guys be lights out & go for 20 each, and the first words out of his mouth postgame will be "boy, Andrew sure was great".

can't complain about the results, if what it takes is him to be protected and cradled in order for us to slam a championship banner up then so be it. but what is this young man gonna do when he leaves the protective cocoon of Cal and plays professional basketball somewhere next season. not sure this act is doing 5 any favors for life after UK.
This post is such ********. Cal is anything but easy on Andrew. And if he is soft on him at all, trust me, the rest of Blowhard Blue Nation makes up for it.

Rack every bit of this.

It's highly annoying but whatever it takes to get 9, I guess.

If you can't see he treats the criticism of #5 different than other players I'm sorry. Like I said, it's been awkward a few times. It's like the favorite son syndrome.

Comparing a slow and methodical style to fast and aggressive one, no, it really shouldn't make sense-to anyone.

Maybe if you had said like a "French tank battalion of WWII." That would have been a slow and methodical style.

Actually pretty excited about finally winning another SEC Title. Guess we'll clinch that (or a share) next Wednesday in all likelihood.

No. Then we would have lost, given up the Craft Center/ Rupp to Duke, got raped pillaged and started platooning for IU.

Tanks are slow and methodical dumbass, regardless of whatever you want to say about Patton. You really are terrible.

I was thinking more compared to the war in the air not to other tank groups. But I didn't drink a frappuccino in my hot tub this morning. Empty the coffee out of your cup and fill it with hot tub water.

I predict Chriz Jones will be out until Notre Dame and Virginia games to close out the season.

Looking at UL schedule and yes the ACC does have some power up top but there is a whole lotta meh with FSU, BC and Georgia Tech. Hell even Miami and Syracuse are not upper tier. Hardly a gauntlet.

I'm with Chad/Anth here.

Jesus.

Cal is just doing what he does with Andrew, which is a big part of his brilliance -- and why he can consistently deal with/manage so many great players at once.

Nice try to spin your way out of this one dumb ***. By your own admission you don't even watch war movies because they "disturb" you. How do you know tanks are slow and methodical? Have you changed the HVAC units in any tanks around here? Christ, a Sherman tank could probably go faster than most cars on New Circle Rd right now.

Wishing you a big bag of spiders. Fist yourself.

* Indeed, which is why cawood's "I TOLD YOU ALL THAT TOWNS WAS THE KEY TO THE SEASON" take was so garbage. This team is so stacked/loaded, we don't have a "key" to the season. We have, like, 17 keys. We can shoot lights out and win, or go ice cold from deep and still blow you out. Charmin soft d, get killed on the boards, poor guard play, foul trouble, piss poor from the charity stripe, get nothing from our bigs......and still walk away with a double-digit victory. It's amazing. This team has won so many games, at such wide margins, in about every way imagineable.

* Great call on the pre-game last night, in the neverending quest for a team nickname --> "Trotline," because we bait 'em, hook 'em, and reel 'em in.

Heretofore and henceforth, this team shall forever be named "Trotline."

The Dr. XBob character may be one of my favorites on here. No way he's this caricature in real life?

He'd prolly go after Anth for using the term blitz regarding UK linebackers.

Were you there when they blitzkrieg'd Poland? I doubt you were changing filters in Warsaw, nancy boy.

It's not a character, it's him. 100%.

Not a single person who knows him, which many on here do, will disagree.

Cal is the master psychologist. He's one of the very few coaches in the country who can not only recruit the elite level players but tear their heads off in practice and in the games and they trust him enough knowing he's got their back overall so they play their *** off for the man.

Here's a suggestion, blowhards. What you see on your couch isn't the entire picture. Cal rides Andrew just as much or more than anyone in practice and in games but realizes it's a give/take so he builds him up in public, especially after our dumbass fans took Goodman's bait back in December.

The kid will never be an electric point guard and we were led to believe he was along the lines of a Wall or Knight, and that's part of the problem. He's a solid game manager who can shoot it respectively, nail free throws, is a good passer and doesn't turn it over much. His defense has improved tremendously as well.

Little Caes to roll out 'bacon wrapped' Deep Dish Feb 23rd.

No thanks. The classic Detroit-style caramelized crust will work just fine for me.

Pizza simply does NOT benefit from bacon.

Bacon obsession =

Little Caesars actually has a pretty wodie deep dish. I haven't eaten there in a while (mostly because the lass refuses, and there isn't one close to our house), but it's a great feeling when you drive by and the thought crosses your mind --> "dude, for 5 bucks, i can pick up a pizza and make it thru like 3 meals."

Pitcher and catchers report today. Eek.

We steamroll Auburn on Saturday, right?

Starkville is "only" ~ 4 hours from me. If that place wasn't AWFUL, I would certainly consider making the trip. 73, you up for a roadie to your favorite away locale?

I think the Little Caesar's $5 Hot N Ready is pretty marginal-to-bad. Hardly any cheese, toppings, etc.

--The $8 Deep Dish is DAMN good.

...and a custom call-in is awesome as well. They do a great thin crust if you ask for it.

Of course, their Cheese Bread, Pep Bread, etc are all awesome as well.

Even ignoring the value, I think it tastes better than any other *major* (Dominos, Papa, Pizza Hut) chain, by FAR. Little Caes has a pretty regular spot in this pizza snob's rotation.

Pizza! Pizza! pairs well with snow ice cream and Big K Cola.

Most of the poors graduate straight from that combo to heroin, tho.

Always hate to see this. Means the end of the season is near. Next thing you know, we'll be stuck in that interminable, 5 month chasm between the end of CBB season and the beginning of CFB season.

Jet's deep dish turbo crust is very similar to Lil Caesar's deep dish.

Good stuff.

Wodie was explaining to me before the game on Sat his special Lil Caesar's orders. It was kind of impressive. That pep bread sounds unreal.

Usually a light lunch eater during the work week unless taking a client or realtor out for lunch but man, with this weather and all I could destroy something like a Hot Brown or double cheeseburger right now.

Moe's is neither great nor terrible; it's serviceable. Firmly behind Dober and Chipotle, of course.

We call in Thin Crust (it's almost an NY style) w/ Pep & onion.

Side order of Pepperoni Bread...which is basically a deep dish w/ garlic butter (instead of marinara), mozz, & shaved Parm on top.

Best of both worlds, and it's

When you call in an actual order, they don't skimp on anything.

Every time we go in there, I swear there are 30 people that go in/out during the 5 minutes or so we usually have to wait. It's unreal.

Not sure how profitable those places are, but it's almost impossible to imagine them being any more busy than they are, at least in our non-East-End area.

The pep cheesy bread is in FACT unreal. You get 10 pieces for under $5.

Tightness in chest will almost immediately follow consumption however.

Rocky's (next to the Buckheads at Gardiner Lane Shopping Center) doesn't have a bad little za for the price-point, folks. Decent salads, too. We enjoy.

Yeah, it's the heaviest item on their menu, fo'shern.

Entire order is like $12 though, which is about 1/2 - 1/3 what it would cost at any of the other wack chains if you order a large custom pizza w/ a side.

So Thon Maker enters 2015 class at #5, behind Skal.

Not sure if that's just due to age, but that's hard for me to fathom. That kid just looks
