I generally agree. I'll drink anything, but not a big IPA guy. Although to be honest, I much prefer Courvoisier to beer these days.

-Bells 2 Hearted in the fridge currently, which seems about as "unanimous" of a favorite as there is these days.

Re: Craft Beer

-----------> 'Bombers' can go get pumped though, TS.

Worst deal in boozing, and so many of these craft breweries only release their special beers in them.

$12-16 for a 22oz bottle
K.

-I'll never be 'beer snob', but my tastes have certainly adjusted to the point where your typical light domesto tastes pretty much like ***, at least at home.

I don't notice (or care) as much when out, and will always drink Miller Lite on the Golf Course, Water, when marathon drinking just to get drunk...but I don't keep any at home.

Trying new beers every time is part of the fun, and gives me a legit reason to try and drink more.

Beer snob guy is terrible. Just drink your craft and STFU. I hardly drink domestics anymore, but it doesn't have anything to do with snobbery, I just lost the taste for them, pretty much out of the blue. I have no idea why. If I can get an ice cold Bud Heavy longneck (at the bowling alley for instance), I'll smash those though.

Friday Eve Randoms:

- I love IPA's, but can understand why some wouldn't. It's not a subtle flavor at all.

- Can't even bring myself to rag on UL fans over the C Jones stuff, what a sickening event (if allegations are true). That said, the institution deserves any hell they might get over their track record on sexual offenders.

- Honda > Toyota (few days late answering Chad)

- 2 weeks until the SEC tournament, can't wait for some March Madness

- had lunch with a buddy today that was a couple of cars behind the road rage shooting incident in Louisville yesterday, he saw the car skid off the road and hit the guardrail and noticed the bullet hole in the glass as he drove by. Said he never heard the gunshot and thought it was a sniper from the woods.

- I don't give a touch who is in our bracket this year or what seed they are, we're going to sodomize the field. Stay out of our way or become a statistic.

- Any chick that has ever tried to bone a cab driver is a disgusting *****.

- Now that the snow is thawing, there are dead birds all over the place. Guess that cold weather just killed them.

- Ready for a beer.

I'm completely ignorant to imports though, which I realize is stupid & simpleton...I'm fine with that, for now. Plenty of small local domestic stuff.

...but what is 'Chimay'? See that featured prominently every time I'm in LB, apparently unreal? Expensive as ****.

If you want to pick a good fight with Craft Beer Guy, drop the old line on him about Sam Adams being a craft. Watch him squirm, steam billow out of his ears, and his face turn red. You've won at that point.

I've for the most part limited my beer to KY, OH and MI and there's plenty of good stuff from there to fill my needs.

This dude needs to die, like now.

It's come out that he's the same guy who abandoned his vehicle in the roadway between 2 exits on I65 back in January, causing another death when someone slammed into it.

I wondered what those little buddies would do. I threw some shelled sun seeds out in my backyard for them but I didn't notice birds eating them. Probably because they were salted? Little bit stale. They tasted like **** honestly...that cardboard type stale nut taste. Idk, but my heart melts for those birds.

If you want to try good beer, go to Germany. They just kill anything we do over here. TS

This is good advice. The next time you want a good beer, you should fly to Germany and get some lagers or wheat beers. Then fly back here and enjoy!

If you like any other style of beer non-native to Germany, turns out you're a mealy mouthed doorknob licker and probably buy your beer at a store near your house like a chump.

-Chimay is one of the better known Belgian beer makers that is a Trappist Ale or whatever. Several different varieties.

-Put me in the "Let's wait and see what comes out first" camp regarding Chris, though it may be telling that even scumbaags like Pitino/Jurich cut him loose.

After what happened to SAE's nephew, Chuck Hayes, the BS lies at UVA, the crazy tourist in Pti's hometown, Duke lax, etc, I simply don't think we can ever again just take some girl's word for it. And that's sad, to be honest, but a fact of life. Let's see what the evidence says. Chris's lawyers seem to be on the attack, which either means he definitely didn't do anything, or DAMN HE REALLY REALLY DID THAT ****. So we'll see.

In other local sexual battery news, there's also a big case going on right now with a parish President, whose wife is claiming rape, while he's claiming they occasionally engaged in rough sex, and role played rape scenes as part of their fantasy.

I mean....

I only know one person who's ever convinced a significant other to role play a rape scene. I won't say who it is, but it was in college, and his GYERO handle rhymes with "See - See - lee - Gay."

My favorites of the big labels were Hofbrauhaus and Spaten.

Dortmunder Actien Braurerei was my overall favorite. You can buy it over here, but its skunked. Guess when you've had it fresh you can still remember what it tastes like through it.

Fresh Heineken (not German) is money too.

Wouldn't mind seeing more of the following on a regular basis (not taking into account any impact on the ecosystem):

chipmunks
rabbits
foxes
hawks
black bears

I wasn't gonna say it because today is very tense and weird, but since he brought it up - I get a very rapey vibe from that guy. Couple that with his love affair with 48 hours and his internet bullying ways...

I love BBDK. He's a great guy. Wouldn't wish any ill will upon him at all. He's just great.

- Used to see chipmunks run across my patio in the summer all the time (those dudes are fast), but not so much late last summer. Wonder if that has anything to do with the 6' black snake I saw slithering across my lawn in September.

- Was just thinking about this the other day- my folks live in the sticks so we always saw a lot of deer and rabbits, but when did turkeys and coyotes become so commonplace in NKy? I can't recall ever seeing/hearing either growing up now you see turkeys everywhere and coyote sightings and hearings (?) are common.

convince is false, but yeah. Pretty dope little game.

-Coyotes were everywhere in WKY, and we were scared to DEATH of them. Pops told us they all had rabies and to steer clear, which wasn't true...but it worked. Those things marcus welby Tigers as far as we were concerned.

You're part of the ecosystem, Pope.

At any rate I don't give two F's about inconvenient animal encounters if you've opted to build some heinous McMansion in their natural habitat. That's your GD fault.

Really all we know about Pope's neighborhood is that tweekers steal his mail and he has apparent encounters with black bears.

-A patient at my wife's hospital named her baby KMNOP. Pronounced "Noel." I have no words.

-One of my classmates was apparently sneaking some narcotics home from work. His wife found him dead in the bathroom about 2 weeks ago. I guess I can't judge him, if I had lived here for 29 years instead of just 3 with an end in sight, I can't imagine where I'd be mentally.

-Hope you all enjoyed your winter blast. Now just imagine the worst 2 days of the last 2 weeks, and extend that to 2 months straight, with the exception that all the roads are plowed and you're expected to have shoveled your sidewalks and be on time to work in the morning because they scoff at snow up here in their northern accents, and you have Milwaukee. That cheese, tho

I understand ecosystems, bub. My degree in biology hangs with the others in the McMansion office.

My encounter was in Florida, don't think you'll have to worry about a bear taking out the family dog or your youngster in the land of topography and pizza. Probably should be more worried about those LOUISVILLE MEN.

So anyway, have a coke and fist yourself Wellington.

If you add the word "consensual" before the word "encounters" it's accurate and hilariously implies something else.

-Chipmunks suck. We have tons, come get as many as you want. Watching a hawk snatch one out of my driveway is the best thing I've ever seen.

-Not really into the beer scene. I prefer wine over a craft beer. Just way too filling.

-Weather starting to look up, a little, days getting longer as well. Almost there.

Not the biggest Winn fan, but he does a pretty good job analyzing every contender's D here.
