Thanks, Geese. Really wish we could've played some 3 on 3 against you and the Transy crew. He was nails from the elbow.

So the Aaron Torres oral history of our 2009-10 team was a pretty neat read.
Yep. Some of the alums (and a few actives) were not fans of that happening. I remember one alumni telling me it was bound to happen since we'd been taking Catholics and Hebrews for years.Originally posted by B.B.d.K.:
Pretty sure the first black guy (Pink) in our chapter's history was also during my time there.
You'd have to assume one of their dates. Doesn't really matter which. Good for her.Originally posted by drxman1:
Pretty stupid what those kids did. Did they ever say who filmed and posted the video?
C'mon man. Kids do stupid crap in college, especially when they're drunk. 10 of these guys were likely involved, but now 100 have their reputations tarnished.Originally posted by Dennis Reynolds:

$17,000 at the high end.Originally posted by MaxPowerrr:
Wait, did Apple really announce they're selling a $17,000.00 watch or was that an Onion/ClickHole article I saw and got faked out like an old?
The stupidity in the decision making process at that age and some people's rationalization was amazing. We weren't dealing with the sharpest tools in the shed to start with since the school was about as difficult to get into as KCTCS. Thank god camera phones and **** hadn't gotten started when I was running the joint. Hell, convincing some of those guys to allow a half-Mex kid in was difficult enough, and we were considered the one of the most 'liberal' groups on campus.Originally posted by anthonys735:
We had a bunch of really offensive traditional frat songs that were great for singing around camp fires in the Gorge. However, none of them mentioned hanging black people as opposed to letting them pledge. Probably because we had a pretty diverse frat. MCF's though, guarantee they had that or worse.
I'm very comfortable with it.Originally posted by TransyCat09:
Not really comfortable with a state school kicking a kid out for speech. Complete and utter idiot racist who needs to be dealt with in other ways, but kicking someone out of a university for simply saying something, anything, is not really a good outcome IMO
They won't expel anyone they can't prove was doing the chant. As for reps ruined, pretty clear that was a frat wide song they all knew. So not a lot of sympathy from me.Originally posted by WayneDougan:C'mon man. Congrats to everyone on your black guys. You are what Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream about.
The Google-marring is 100% OK with me and I would be fine if people took it upon themselves to proactively contact people he will/might associate with and let them know what special brand of moron he is.Originally posted by Joey Rupption:

This kid is an idiot and having him effectively removed from any influential role in society by irreparable Google-marring for the rest of his life is a just punishment.
As a flagship, I think they should be able to kick anyone out for any reason they want.Originally posted by TransyCat09:
Different from being expelled from school, though. I don't think being expelled is too harsh, per se. Just that it's a school policing something (speech) that they shouldn't.
Rack.Originally posted by TransyCat09:
