Park at Dick's and Alumni Hall is within 40 yards of an entrance.

Agree on JD's.

Spent the last 4 months trying to find this jacket ANYWHERE, to no luck. I have the blue and black but not as good. Some idiot on EBAY had one but was selling for $169

Alumni Hall at St Matts doesn't always have a huge selection but they always have one or two items that you ain't leaving there without.

Meh. Eating makes me nervous while on benders, especially plans to eat.

Recognizing it's a necessary evil, I'll crush a slice of cheese pizza off the street every 6 hours or so just to keep me from getting sick, but that's about it.

Meh, with your flexible sched?

Head up there around lunch and swing around back behind Dillard's and slide in that small mall entrance in the back directly next to Dick's. Walk in, take a left and it's 50 yards away.

Learn Fayette Mall.

I want to buy in on Gonzaga. They have so many weapons. Really, they aren't that far away from Wisconsin and Duke in that regard. They have 7 guys who can just light it up. They even have a couple back-to-the-basket guys and a physical, polsihed garbage man in Sabonis. BUT watching that game last night, I just think the style of play out there kills them come NCAA. They could do whatever they wanted. No resistance at all. And come NCAAs, things get physical and I'm not sure how the Zags will react going from getting wherever and whatever they want to a lot of resistance.

We generally go out to dinner Thursday night upon arrival, then the rest is *exactly* as described above....unless we lose & everyone "quits".

-Paradise Park is TERRIBLE, btw. Not sure how you can mess up greasy drunk food, but they do. Of course, I'll end up there at least once like always, just sayin.

* Calhoun = Majerus. Love hearing what they have to say, only I can't understand what they have to say.

* LOL at UNC playing in a their league tourney at lunch on Wednesday.

* Rack SAE. It's like football. You use your eating game to set up your drinking game.

No desire to learn anything about Fayette Mall. It's awful. I avoid that area like it's Indiana. Schedule is actually pretty tight the next 30 hours.

-We have 1 planned nice meal Thursday then it's up in there air. I don't mind a few local places that have decent food rather than eating at a place like Rippey's 8 times during the weekend. Most of the places we've found are within 2-3 blocks of Broadway and have good bar setups.

Would like to finally hit some Nashville Hot Chicken...Hattie B's is close. Although that's probably not a good tone-setter for a day of drinking.

- The reason I don't go to the SEC Tournament anymore is because people like BBdK refuse to make the effort to make and keep reservations at restaurants. If I'm going to visit a bigger city, I want to be sure to check the restaurant scene. I just don't have the desire to "get drunk" at bars. I'm 35. Act like an adult- attend the games, maybe have a martini, go to dinner and get back to the hotel. Rinse. Repeat.

- Clay Travis with a good piece on the Oklahoma SAE thing. I don't feel sorry for those arrogant dickwads. I just find it interesting how racism is considered the worst thing ever these days. And, I am not big into present day viral outrage. But F'em.

Yep, I loathe big reservations at BBN things. Usually end up ditching the Thursday meal too b/c I'm too amped to get things started with BBN.

Cal in his Q&A with Jon Rothstein.

Calipari: I just hit Anthony Davis today with a text because he had 43 points. I asked him how's your shoulder? He said "it's OK." I said it's OK? So what are you telling me, you should have had 53? And then I hit him with do you know that Willie Cauley-Stein has the fifth most shots on our team and he's up for player of the year? Do you know that Karl-Anthony Towns has the fourth most shots on our team and he's up to be the number one pick? Did you know that Trey Lyles has the sixth most shots on our team and he's projected to be a lottery pick? Think about that. He said "you were holding us back." Then he laughed because he and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist were the fourth and fifth shot takers on our tea
m in 2012 that won the national title and they went one and two in the draft that year. So there are similarities there.

Despite the hits it brings, I bet these guys *hate* interviewing Cal, or maybe they all think they're gonna get a NEW answer at some point, so they like the challenge?

Making a reservation for more than 4 people is damn near impossible. Thats if you can even agree on a place to make the reservation at.

A few days ago my wife revealed to me the upcoming social obligations we had which included:
baby shower this weekend
baby gender reveal party next friday night
and a wedding shower on April 4th.

She showed me an email she had sent to her friends (all of this stuff involves her same besties) which basically said "I will be be there each weekend, but my husband is at the SEC tournament this weekend, next weekend he's in Louisville bc he likes to watch the 1st round with his dad and friends, and April 4th is Final Four weekend so he is not taking on any other obligations right now"

I have worked hard to build up a lot of good faith over the last 3-4 months and it looks to be paying off. Lots of sage advice from the group text members and it really has me in good position for the postseason run.

Well done, friend.

Something tells me these ridiculous (now coed) showers and parties and other ******** obligations are much worse for Southern girls than other females.

I had this argument with a Duke fan in the office the other day. His argument is that they are more experienced with essentially the same team. My argument is that we still managed to win without our best defender (and most obvious matchup for Kaminsky) and replaced Randle with KAT and James Young with Booker/Ulis/Lyles. Not to mention we have our starting back court with more experience as well (as if UK is the only place that experience exists in a vacuum). All of that combined should mean a win for us. No guarantee, but this team gives no effs when they turn it on and a top ten team will warrant that type of performance.

Forgot to mention that everyone here seems to think its a foregone conclusion that we would wipe the floor with Duke and they only strolled into the Kohl center and beat Wisconsin in November. Just a petty observation, I know, but further proves the point that I think we are a bad matchup for anyone this year, especially teams who have issues protecting the rim.

Slipped down a 2-hour YouTube wormhole last night when I stumbled upon the Wheatus song "Teenage Dirtbag". Two quick points...
- That might be the worst song of any era. Laughably bad lyrics/vocals/everything.
- That terrible song has 52+ million views. I don't know how that's possible and I don't mean that rhetorically. It really seems impossible.

As of last night, Doubletree finally came down on the honor points. My group features late 20s die hards, who absorb alcohol in pretty good volumes, most likely similar to GYERO glory days. Rippys/Tootsies/Stage/PRINTERS, really I have no semblance of a plan this weekend and that is the best feeling ever.

I cannot imagine why anyone would not go to this year.

I made it clear from Day 1 I simply will not go to those deals, and she knows better than to even ask. Also helps that she hates them as much/more than I do.

The one exception would be if it was one of my close friends, where all my other friends are going.

And to that end, I just learned of the existence of something called a "push present" from KSR. It's a gift a father gives to a mother upon her delivering their child.

Rack.

I can understand if my family or my friends are giving my wife a shower - I should be there. If the wife of a friend is having a kid, I should probably go if he's going to be there. But touch couples showers. Touch them harder than the knocked up hen was touched when the seed was planted.

I'm currently facebook friends with someone who is having a countdown to the reveal of the date of the party of the baby gender reveal. As in "In three more days I'll announce the date of the party in which we will reveal what our THIRD child will be. Follow me on Instagram for an immediate invite the day of...OMGOSH" 28 people tagged.

What did this person do 10 years ago? How did they fulfill this need to be the center of attention at all times?

Looks like several hotels have opened up downtown/WestEnd, amazingly.

Hell, you can grab the Hutton for $286, which for THIS weekend, marcus welby free.

My wife explained this to me. When she was 8 months pregnant. With our 3rd child.

Umm, it costs, on average, over $300,000 to raise a child until the age of 18. And then I'm paying for college. And then I'm (probably) paying for 3 weddings. And now you want a purse? Get out of here with that nonsense, woman.
