This Ole Miss / SC game has been dog **** until the last few minutes and now Ole Miss has the opportunity to complete a 4-pt play to win by one.

Frank Martin may really murder someone after that. Better put some surveillance on him.

I'll tell you one female trend I just hate these days- hair extensions/weaves/etc. All these chicks have fake hair down to their back. Looks ridiculous.

If you have to cheer for somebody to get knocked off of the 1 line, I think there might be an alternative...

Deener this morning defending this acehole response with, "What's the big deal, that's only about a 3, I've heard him REALLY explode before!!"

The big deal moron is that it was a student reporter, that it happened at a conference tourney with all the ACC location media listening, and he was such a jerk noone wanted to ask any other questions.

He played the audio to prove his point when really it was Pitino's non-verbal condescension that was so bad.

Somebody really should slap him.

Listen, HOF CRP has done a hall of fame job this season dealing with the issues with Chris, navigating the murderer's gauntlet of the ACC, showcasing MEGA, etc. as far as I'm concerned he gets a pass for being cranky with a "student" "reporter" after a classic ACC tournament battle.

Really don't mind Calhoun's comments, and hopefully he's right. If what we have seen so far is simply really good (which I am inclined to agree with), then it means we may have another gear.

Need to get after it this afternoon. No more pussyfooting.

Re: GYER31-0

Anthony Davis was "THAT GUY" on the 2012 team, and he scored 6 points in the National Championship Game. Went 1-10 from the field. And was named Final Four MVP.

"THAT GUY" doesn't always mean the guy who scores the most points.

Re: GYER31-0

If Cal's history here is proof of anything, we will come out sluggish today but hit another gear at some point in the 2nd half then coast to a win. Destroy whoever tomorrow, then it's a coin flip come Sunday whether we take it serious or not.

Gameday randoms:

- Lexington is soggy, and 1pm cannot get here fast enough.

- heading to NOLA next weekend for work, sucks being out of town for the first round but looking forward to a change of scenery for a few days

- sun came out a couple of days ago and the phones lit up, getting ready to be busier than a one legged ditch digger

- not scared of anyone right now or where we are in the brackets, all bravado. I'll be a whimpering puppy by tipoff, and it's only going to get worse every game we play. 9 more games for #9

- heading home at 12:45, off the rest of the day to soak up as much roundball as possible

- pistachios

I'd agree to the Sunday outlook had we lost one or two this year. He'll never admit it, but he wants 40-0 just as bad as anyone.

Someone who's not sitting in a lobby in Nashville can look it up, but im pretty sure Cal said he wanted to try to go 40-0 after 2012.

Re: GYER31-0

--On call overnight, and when leaving work this morning some Wisconsin fans were talking about how they didn't want to be in Kentucky's bracket. I was in a rush to leave but paused to hear the discussion, which turned to "Yeah how epic would it be to beat them in the championship game? It just isn't as exciting to do it in the elite eight." Just shook my head and walked away.

Have a hard time being that intimidated by this guy:

Maaaaaaaan f*** Wisconsin.

--Cal has said numerous times he'd love to go 40-0. The SEC tournament is 3 of those 40… he wants to win them.

--Post-call pre-game drinking with pre game blaring.

Sure, but I'd imagine he probably took the most shots on the team.

Re: GYER31-0

Only one time I've seen a local reporter to stand up to Pissy Ricky... Back in 2012 when they were in a middle of a major skid including getting pasted by Providence ( the game he blew off celebrating their 87 Final Four Team) Chip Cosby asked a valid question in a press conference. RICK got all condescending and got his panties in a wad trying to tell off Cosby. Cosby threw his crap right back at him
saying was essentially it's a valid question.

He's such an emotional & sensitive ***** at times. Imagine the beating he took from the Boston media was brutal because they are TNF and won't be intimated by he or that athletic department.

It's laughable because he doesn't answer to anyone. He can act in any manner possible and there's no repercussions.

He absolutely did. Which is exactly why I haven't bought the whole, "This is for our fans" thing he's been preaching.

Cal's never gonna say "40-0" or "undefeated" unless/until it actually happens. He sounds like an idiot if he does and it doesn't happen. The way we talked about it last preseason and then looked silly when they didn't come close, multiply that by a thousand if Cal even entertains the idea out loud and comes up short. But hell yeah, he wants it. Cal's a hype man, and there's nothing more hype-able than having a historic achievement like that under your belt.

Cal said after the 2012 championship he would like to coach an undefeated team one day.

That is a fact. Not an opinion.
