-Last year we left early Sunday but I really wanted to watch the Ark game. Glad I stuck around. Really fun game.

-We just pulled up Waze, it took us through town to avoid the realy bad stuff, stopped off and grabbed Jersey Mikes, hit a couple slow spots but still made it back in about 3:20 with a couple stops. Not too bad.

-We will have the Bike to Beat Cancer bracket again. WS will get to it shortly. She was trying to figure it all out.

Ranking of teams I think can get us.

1. Wisky
2. Zona
3. Duke
4. Nova
5. UVa
6. Notre Dame
7. ISU
8. Zags

Really after the first 3 I think we'd be double digit favorites against the rest of the field.

-LOVE the late tip for the first game. be able to get a little work in, head up, check in, grab some lunch and get settled for most of the first day before we march over to the blood bath.

It is when you plan on going to the 1st/2nd Round, Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final 4. Got to make up the time/save$$ somewhere.

Most people that aren't Schembeans don't have the luxury of just taking off work for an entire month, unfortunately.

* Lunardi has Indiana as last 4 out the morning of, and they ended up a 10-seed. I hate that guy. He whiffed big time there.

* That trip was an absolute blast, and it's gonna take an extry day or two to get my act together.

* As much hell as I like to give KSR/Jones, I think he's fantastic on his pre and post-game show, and their whole deal at Tin Roof was awesome. Lemond is a great sidekick as well.

* Got Jarrod Polson's autograph, and a photo taken with him. He is, like, sooooooo dreamy in person.

* Goose Givens was livin it up at Tin Roof =
. That dude just oozes cool. Looks like he could probably still play, too.

* It's amazing how much downtown Nashville has changed for the better. Whatever change they made to allow those places to add on rooftop decks and expand upwards was LONG overdue.

* Wodie Sloot = champ.

* I'm out for the Louisville round, probably in for Cleveland. Not sure about Indianapolis. I'll tell ya what --> that setup works perfectly for those of you in the Commonwealth. The longest drive is, what, 4 hours to Cleveland?? Can't beat that.

* No way this team loses.

* Andrew Harrison --> mans game. Cannot believe how much he's evolved in the 2nd half of the season. He's pretty much knocking down every single jumper he takes. Playing with tons of energy. Leading the offense, pushing the tempo. Our current MVP.

* Best part of the SEC Tourney = bumping into friends I haven't seen in way too long.

- Yeah, so had no intention of going to Nashville this weekend until I got the Bat Call from Wodie 15 minutes before tip on Friday. Next thing I know, I'm driving four hours in a constant pour after we took out the Gators. Wore the same outfit for three straight days. Nashville.

- So, I haven't watched the doc yet, but my former college roommates' dad (as well as my grade school basketball coach) is featured in it. He's the guy whose wife filmed him watching the game and losing his ****. I've seen the video before. It's hilarious (if not a bit depressing as it brings back that memory). Good ol' Jimmy Spaw. He's a hoot.

- I feel awful today. Busy week, too. Have to work all day on Thursday but got myself a halfer on Friday. Let's get it on.

- I have no problem with someone picking another team to win it all, but OF COURSE contrarian doosh Gottlieb was one of them. What a boner that guy is.

- I don't know if PTI and I were just drunk or what, but I couldn't tell you how many times we started talking to BBdK's brother confused thinking it was actually BBdK and vice versa. So hard to tell those guys apart.

- Haven't really analyzed the brackets yet. I think we got a good draw. People point to ND but we would murk those fools inside. Their D is suspect at best. I like Arizona in the rematch over Wisky. I like Nova, I suppose. I think Utah could give Duke a game. Leaning Zags in that bracket. We'll. I'm awfully chalky right now.

Anyone else believe Lunardi's 'projections' might actually hurt teams on the bubble?

Like the committee saying 'we aren't going to let this guy do our job, we'll show him...'.

Only time I really got disappointed during yesterdays game was when Ulis threw the half court bounce pass with a little english on it and Booker couldnt gather it for a layup. *That* wouldve been a highlight.

Our man Sky Walker does a great job of milking his fame for all its worth. Man. He was putting on a strong performance this weekend. We also ran into Vince Marrow at our hotel lobby bar late on Friday and he was, to put into context, recruiting a good looking blonde. After awhile they left together and an older gentleman in a camo block K hat leans over and says "Looks like he got the verbal."

For how we utilize it, Nashville is the most expensive city in the United States for me, and I'm not sure it's even close.

-I like chalk as well but man I just don't trust anyone out side of UK, Zona and Wisconsin. That's why it's so clutch for us and ****** for them.

Pretty sure I'm going Iowa State F4.

-Nova has a helluva tough task on Saturday. Much tougher than the other 3 1's. Both State and LSU are poorly coached but talented teams. Nova and UVa just have so many of those flawed but dangerous teams. LSU, State, UL, Oklahoma, MSU, Providence, UGA. All those teams could take down UVa or Nova.

-Who's your 5/12? Wyoming? Buffalo is a trendy pick. Wouldn't mind seeing them pick off a few teams.

-Why is everyone so upset over the UCLA pick. I mean, yeah, they shouldn't be in but at the bubble it was all pure ****. I guess nothing else is really questionable for the bitchy media.

-That Dickie V/ Judd kiss pic is awesome.

-Think Nash is expensive? Wait until Vegas 2016 CBS Classic.

Because they're terrible.

Watching supremely underachieving power school like Indiana or UCLA get a bid while an overachieving mid-major like Murray State gets left out really sucks. I almost wish the committee could throw out the records and just acknowledge that Murray did about as well with their schedule as they possibly could have, and those powerhouses did about as BAD of a job with theirs as possible.

Temple had 8 top 100 wins and a 25 point beating of a 2 seed. Pretty sure they have a reason to be upset about UCLA getting in.

Halfway tempted to pick the Fightin' Steph Curries of Davidson over Iowa and Gonzaga in the Chalky Subregional in Seattle. I have no faith in Gonzaga.

Murray State lost to Xavier by 27 and Valpo by 35. They had no business getting a bid.

Hermitage Café is pretty terrible, btw. Not sure why it's such an institution

I LOVE diner food, but that place reminded me of Twig & Leaf, only worse (food wise).

^Yeah, but at the end of the day I don't really give a **** about Murray, CSU, UCLA or IU.

-I get more pissed, as most real fans should, at unreasonable lopsided regions.

-KSR guys sound awful.

-Saturday was almost too much. Combine the decent weather, bachelor/ette parties, normal crowd and BBN and you couldn't really move. Finally had enough and pulled the plug after dinner.

-$600
Pretty sure I passed that in the first 2 hours. I am glad you're acting like your old self though. So I'm not going to mock you for that.

Great old school crew though.

*I wonder how much Kindly banks on SECT weekend. This one in particular.

*Every year I hate myself for not going when I read the stories from Nashville/Atlanta/New Orleans. I'm still a SECT virgin.

*Not upset at all with our bracket. In fact, I friggin love it.

*Guess Thursday I'll get off work around 1:30 and head straight downtown. What time and where are people planning on meeting up? I'm debating parking somewhere not downtown and taking a cab. It may be very difficult to find a parking spot with the river, NCAA folks, and regular downtown workers.

*The Cleveland tickets I bought on Friday have already increased in value by almost half. I fully expect them to be worth much more after this weekend.

Someone needs to buy Twig & Leaf and give it a Bar Rescue makeover. Great location, nice building/setup, and I love the breakfast/greasy spoon concept.....it's just gross.

I'm not pissed about it, just saying, a couple of teams have a reason to be a little upset. Of course, at the end of the day, I don't give a f*ck about bubble teams. It's their own fault.

Anyone see any news about a car chase on I65 around Etown?

We got passed on the right by an Audi A7 going (100+) in the emergency lane (no exaggeration), moments after we'd seen it pulled over. Dunno if he ran off or what? Scared the **** out of us.

Then we got passed by at least 2 State boys going 100+ moments later, and then about 6-7 more over the next 20 minutes, which I'm assuming were in pursuit?...something major was going down, but I looked all evening online and couldn't find anything.

Notre Dame smells like the kind of team that fools the brackets, there is one every year. Team gets hot late, rolls through winning their conference championship, beats some future 1 or 2 seeds in the process, then gets picked to keep it going to the Final 4 in every bracket prediction....and then flames out in the 1st round.

The fact that UK will now be playing teams who've never seen them in person before shouldn't be underestimated, IMO. I think we'll murk our way to the Elite 8 with little difficulty.

Was basically a celebrity with this shirt, that he picked up for $2.50 at Wal Mart after a coupon.

I've seen him pop up on at least 10 other timelines.

Shirt is amazing.

Maybe not in the first round, but yeah, I'm not confident that Mike Brey (6-11 in 11 NCAATs) is all of a sudden going to go on a run.

I think UCL makes a good point about teams getting their first up close look at UK. This weekend was the first time I had seen them live and it's kind of astonishing how much more physically impressive this team is than their opponents. And that's just during warmups. Then the game starts and these guys just move better than other teams.

I also think this team, even yesterday, looked bored at times in the SECT. But I think the enormity of the situaish is hitting these guys and the lights are on. This team plays its best games when the lights are on.

It's pretty amazing that Andy Harrison - who is playing lights out right now - can get into early foul trouble and we still don't lose a beat at PG with our backup. As much as folks talk about our size, length, etc., our strength at PG might be as important as anything.

Also - we shot 82% from the foul line during the SEC Tourney. I mean ...

Mags buddy TALL was sporting those shirts in the Bahamas the whole time. In the clubs, in pool, at the games. Everywhere.

They were going on an on about FT shooting has probably cost Cal 2 National Championships. And we are deep at Guard this year, and our bigs have improved tremendously at the line.

IMO, the only "weakness" on this team is at the 3. We're just not deep there. Lyles is fantastic, but he really doesn't have a backup. When Lyles doesn't play well or gets in foul trouble, we go 3 guards. Granted, 2 of our guards are 6'6", but still. 2012 was super deep at the 3 with Kidd-Gilchrist and Miller.

Always been a small forward honk. It concerns me....a little.

I stay away for giving officials ****, but that foul on the WCS block... I mean you should lose your job for that. That block was one of the 2-3 best plays the entire tournament.

Maybe it was so violent and amazing that it didn't look legal, but get it together.

* Really hope UNI/UofL materializes. Could easily see the Panthers ending MEGA's career.

* We're top 5 in both AdjO & AdjD. Nobody else is top 10 in both.

* Re: Notre Dame - 538 did a study on the correlation between late season/conference tourney play and NCAAT success. There is none.

* Only three times this year has anyone gotten within 8 points of beating us. That's not awful.

* 1st round games most looking forward to: LSU/NCSU, MSU/UGa, Wichita/Indiana.

* Thought the Laettner doc was great. Pretty clear he & the Fab Five dudes still hate each other.

Watching the game on TV and the way the announcers hooted and hollered, you would've thought that Arkansas had built a 20-point lead against us when they cut it to 9 in the second half. That's how high the bar has been set.

Also, the way those Pig morons were STILL talking **** after the game is inexplicable. They didn't have a lead against us for a single solitary second ... in either game. Sometimes teams are just flat stupid.

Just opened the mail, and got a $135 phantom/video camera-captured ticket for not fully stopping at a red light (on a right turn).

Uhh....yeah. That sucks.
