We played a team of crackers in 2010 (Cornell) and that game was a ratings juggernaut.

In related news, I'm convinced now that Tyler Ulis is the meanest dude on the team. And maybe by a large margin. I hope he stays here forever.

He looks more like a Muggsy than a Tyler.

RE-DICKLESS how good that guy is. Not one for second this season has he seemed out-of-control or unsure of himself. He just glides around the court, making the correct basketball play 99% of the time. Plus, he's a really good shooter and an elite OTB defender. Was a joy watching him check Staten last night. Guy couldn't shake him.

...AND I think he's the second best PG on our time right now.

Not to go all Chief, and post a cackblocking awful take that ruins a perfect moment....HOWEVAH....we had our fun, beat their brains in, and smacked them down verbally afterwards.

Now a day later hope the world now leaves ole Daxter alone and let him live his life. I'd hate for this week to be the beginning of that young man's life swirling the toilet bowl down to some tragic ending. hope the youngster goes on and has himself a fine little career, and someday laughs at what an idiot he was prior to the UK game. (and laugh at the idiot coach who gave a national megaphone to a freshmen who had no business getting it).

Think Tennessee will make a run at Rick Barnes? Apparently his wife is a Tennessee grad.

Tickets are easy. Hotels are plenty. Weather blows but the people of Cleveland are actually really great. Easy trip. This is history folks, you will never see this **** again. We'll be talking about these days in 50 years. Don't miss out.

Steve Lavin and St. John's "mutually parted ways". Come on back to the mothership, bud. Your seat is still warm.

Hopefully Hurley takes the SJ job. Aside from UCoon and Syracuse I like old Big East squads and the "feel" of those urban, Northeastern games. Get local talent to stick with a good coach and that would be fun as hell

Report that Daxter Miles ducked a reporter and hid in a bathroom stall after the game.

Once again, all I keep reading and hearing is how are we going to stop Notre Dame from scoring?

Umm, that's not really the question. How is Notre Dame going to score on us? How is Notre Dame going to stop us from scoring? How are they going to keep us from getting offensive rebounds over that zone? How are they going to keep it within 20 if Auguste gets in foul trouble? How are they going to hit 20 threes with guys 6 inches taller than them closing out?

And, has anyone considered how they shoot 85% and hit 467 threes a game, yet never blow anyone out? Notre Dame frequently gets up 8-12 and then gives up a 10-0 run in seconds. How's that going to work against Kentucky?

I'm all ears, national media. Waiting for just one single solitary ounce of actual analysis.

Chase, have you not been paying attention? Both Cincinnati and West Virginia were getting open shots, just couldn't make them. I mean, according to every talking head out there, Notre Dame is not going to miss all these "open" shots.

It's been a nice run, but since Kentucky gives up so many open shots, it's over.

I fully expect Alabama to forget what they're doing for a minute and hire Rick Barnes . Kinda like when you open the door to let your dog in and you aren't paying attention and you accidentally let the neighbors dumbass dog in the house. That's how I expect alabama to hire their basketball coach.

Just remembered how tickled I was to hear Marv wonder aloud last night why Ulis started the 2nd half, and if that meant anything?

Kind of surprised didn't see Booker reloading the gun last night.

Wonder what was better, Adrian's pierogis or the Schems fancy meal.

apparently Mike Brey didn't get the memo on cooling it with pregame talk

"We'll be very disappointed if we don't win... Our locker room, we'll be on the floor."

"I think I have the best backcourt in the country."

"We are America's team tomorrow."

on if Notre Dame is more prepared than Kentucky: "I think we are. There's no question about it."

I mean, maybe they will reach out or whatever but what does the wife angle have to do with that? I just dont see Barnes thinking "Oh yeah cool i'd love to move to your city and work with a garbage AD and a broke *** department for a program that really isnt historically worth two nickles pulled straight from Peyton Manning's *** only because it will be good for my wife Linda's nostalgia"

To be fair, a lot of you seem to forget the new rule* in the Elite Eight this year that teams only play offense OR defense. Notre Dame, being the lower seeded team, has elected to play offense which means UK plays defense the whole game. A cunning strategy and one that might just work for the Irish.

* I assume this is an actual new rule since no one is bringing up the fact that UK is going to be allowed to try and score as well.

*full disclosure I have no clue if Barne's wife is named Linda, but I do think it's safe to assume since most Ricks are married to Lindas

Should be decidedly tougher for the #3 Offense to score against the #1 Defense than it will be for the #6 offense to score against the #100 Defense. That's basketball science.

UL could make it to the title game with the following path: UC Irvine, Northern Iowa, NC State, Michigan State, Gonzaga

I'm concerned with one team- Kentucky. If Louisville stands between us and destiny, I'll take that 7 days a week.
