@wildcatadam6 - last year you mentioned that you thought Korem would only stick around for another year based on a conversation with him. I'm guessing things have changed since UK is talking about an academic program involving what he does? And he hasn't left yet.
I haven't met him. His wife and mine worked together for a bit. We have been trying to have them over for dinner, but no luck over the winter/spring, and certainly not happening now that ball has started.

I believe my statement was along the lines of "he's being so heavily recruited by outstanding organizations, including military branches, that it wouldn't be a surprise to see him around for only a year or two more."

I'll see if my old lady can talk to his.

He killed an antelope looking thing. Basically a huge deer. I've been there, those suckers are everywhere. Probably much more pleasant than being chased 30 miles by a pack of hyenas or drug up a tree by a leopard in the middle of the night. Really did the thing a favor. To TSK be the glory.
Anth got my back...

We hunted kudu, impala, gemsbuck, etc., basically stuff that was akin to our dear and turkey. Everything we killed we either ate or it was given to a local tribe which helped with tracking, nothing wasted. The proceeds from those type of hunts go to protect the land, species, and conservation.

None of us were there to or had interest in killing predatory cats or giraffes, anything like that. I don't really see the point in that style hunting, never have, really.

But, to the point of the dentist, I think what has happened to him is ridiculous. MOST OF THE TIME, the people that go on those style hunts only target the aging males that are close to being forced out the pack into eventual starvation. They are typically people that pay big money to protect areas that are into conserving those species because they are a way of life to the individuals and companies that run the safaris. Effing FB, what a cesspool.

I rarely if ever get on Twitter, but every time I do I see that GregNJ and CMD guy sucking each other off about something, prime example Murray. Apparently, they predicted great things for Murray just weeks before Pan-Am. No ****??? How could they have foreseen such greatness?

...CMD(hob not catmandoo) made a total *** of himself when I posted about the Murray visit on HOB.

Basically said I was FOS, there was no visit(confirmed by tj walker lolol), he didn't need any extra credits to reclassify, etc. I understand having an opinion but if you don't know, don't act like you know. That's what drives me crazy about that bunch.

Getting a commit from a 5* recruit from Florida is amazing for this program whether he comes here or not...can't believe some of you are such pussies when it comes to football.

I saw a post on FB that said they hoped that dentist's children starve to death.

The Ghost and the Darkness was enough to make me never want to go hunting lions or go to Africa in general.

Yeah, I have no interest whatsoever in visiting Africa...or the Middle East for that matter.

Well, actually, South Africa would be cool.

TSK, next year book the cabin for Thursday Eli. TIA.Anth and BBdk will be up mid day to start churring out world class BBQ on the BGE. Then I anticipate spending the next 8 hours getting eaten alive by those wolf mosiquitos, drinking beer/scotch and GAMBOL-ing on everything we can before passing out to Jerry and Adrian fighting. -Anth

-There is nothing redeeming about Sunday at EB. Nothing. It's awful.

I definitely want to do the Eli next year. One of the best golf/party trips Ive been on. But I have some stipulations.

-We do the cabin Thursday or I dont go at all.
-I will not share a room with BBDK or 80 again. Its awful. If that happens again, Ill simply wait until you fall asleep and crawl in bed with meemommie.
-I get to play a round with chase and that big goofy bastard friend of his again. Guy is awesome.
-I get to play with Anth and TSK at least once.
-PTI(pti) has to go
-No poo-stained towels in our cart
-We stay Sunday and make a huge day of it. Take Monday off and leave when we want. Nothing worse than playing 18 holes of golf knowing you have to drive 5 hours home after it. Ill bring steaks for Sunday so we dont have to eat at Wendys.

You make that happen and Ill never miss another again.

Chad's content to do pretty much the same general thing every week of his entire life, weird little feller imo.

Takes real love to get that guy to do something out of his comfort zone, so I anticipate a much deserved & long overdue vacation of some sort sooner than later. :)

The worst type of social media outrage is the outrage that the general public is outraged over one particular incident but doesn't appear to outwardly be as outraged over an even more outrageous, egregious incident. As if the two are mutually exclusive.

A STUPID LION GETS KILLED AND THE COTDAMN LIBERAKS ARE PISSED BUT DONT CARE THAT AFRICAN BABIES ARE KILLED EVERY SINGLE DAY EFF OBAMACARE.

- I'm a simple man. Doesn't take much for me.

- Underrated Lexington trip:

Willy's mini bachelor party August 2009 I believe. Got beered up and hit Platinum. Fun night.

- Considering I've barely heard from ABH in a month, I'm guessing he's back with the ex.

Is this map accurate? Gotta love how KY is the only state entirely in Greater Appalachia.

Tanzania was unreal. The reserves were awesome. Google Ngorongoro Crater, one of the wildest places I've ever been.

We can get a 1st rounder in return for Leake when he walks. And Chapman is always tradeable.

But Bruce and Byrd (who has a vesting option at 550 abs)? ZERO reason they're still in a Reds uniform right now.

Post GYEROLYMPICS after party at Gerstle's... Anth and I had a little chat with Deener. Dude kept denying he was Deener.

Rob kept chiming in to stick up for his buddy. Smh.

Just asked off work for the Auburn night game-Madness-Keeneland-NBA preseason game weekend. Fingers all kinds of crossed.

...and then the wife hints that she may have a bachelorette party anyway? :scream: :cool2:

Speaking of doughnuts, Howie Lindsey appears to be taking on KSR at the 10:00 am slot on 93.9 THE VILLE.

Old friend of mine has a show on THE VILLE on Wed nights LOUISVILLE SPORTS LIVE!. I had no idea the show was still on. Was heading for some infant Tylenol last night when I tuned into to hear them refer to Bridgewater as "Teddy" and Bonnafon as "Reggie" at least 15 times within 2 min.

Anybody want to do a GYERO FAT challenge? Had a pretty awful injury that has kept me out for nearly a year, finally ready to get back. Right around 200 right now...
