Has anyone thought to ask American Pharoah what he'd like to do?

-Watched the UGA/UofL Belk Bowl highlights this morning. Boy, Georgia really jumped their **** from the word go. Seemed personal, almost. Hopefully there's enough bad blood between Auburn and Floyd Street U where we see something like that again Saturday.

Better add Jason Day to the absolutely going to win 10+ majors and track down tiger. Kid does have just ridiculous jaw dropping power/talent. Gap wedge from 156 through the canopy.

On a different planet right now.

-SAE waxing to the new campus. It's gorgeous over there folks. We've been telling you this. Including the stadium area. You're going to be proud. But if you feel the need to bash Meetch and Eli over a 1 billion dollar campus overhaul then have at it. Just know that you're the issue and miserable.
Took my daughter on a tour this spring. The transformation is absolutely unbelievable. Changes that I never thought I would see in my lifetime, and practically all under Cap's leadership.

-Another gorgeous weekend. Nice way to end summer.

-Golfing is fun BUT I spent the majority of 2 full days, $300+, drank too much beer, ate crappy food, skipped 2 workouts. Going to keep it as a couple times a year thing. I'm decent enough that I can go out after 2 years and not totally embarrass myself at this point. I'll stick with that.

September set to be legit:
*4 football games, 3 at home. 2 home games are pivotal for the season.
*B2BC in 3 weeks.
*Week long meeting in Cincy.
*Hopefully start to get life back to the new normal.
*Warm weather predicted.

-Sounds like Flannigan is going to try and make it back for game 1, that would be nice. Even if it's limited.

-50yd line dinner on Thursday(kind of a bummer).

-Tipton doesn't seemed amused with Mags bid for congress.

-Buddha Lounge is a pretty solid option in Lex if you're feeling sushi. Seems to me though having a ton of specialty rolls that you charge $10+ for makes more sense than having 5 boring options and 2 unique. Maybe it requires holding to many perishable ingredients. I don't know but I prefer the Sapporo and Oishi menus to most.

-Props to the KSR crew and Jones. We've obviously had our issues but like adults moved past them and are friends these days. Pretty remarkable to watch what they've built in a short period.

-Stadium is looking D.O.P.E. Going to be gorgeous.

Its amazing to me that the really old buildings and the new construction buildings are so timeless. But everything they built in the 60's, 70's and early 80's is mostly complete ****. It was as if was rushed and none of those buildings will be around in 10 years. Same thing is happening at EKU.

This is not public information yet, but that new UK 8-bit logo (h/t Anth) is going to be the campuswide logo, for every college on campus, every public media piece, and every piece of clothing from this point forward. A friend works in media at UK. This was his text.

"Now it will be *the* logo, no more UK with Memorial hall tower in the middle, healthcare logo gone, A&S logo gone, all individual college logos gone. The deans of all colleges are being told & presented with the logo this week"

He went on to say that it took UK and Nike a year to come up with this logo. So, it isn't likely to go anywhere anytime fast when they spent that much time on it.

I saw this morning that Llama's favorite Christi Thomas got the Football Countdown to Kickoff gig with Freddie Maggard on the radio. Did they send Oscar to pasture?

No, unfortunately. Freddie and Christi have the first half-hour of the pre-game, then it goes over to Oscar and Pecoro (sp?), which then transitions into the broadcast coverage with Tom.

-Meh, it's just the curmudgeon in me. Since I deal with that type of stuff on a daily basis it drives me a little batty when things don't look right. The marquee sign, the new logo, the UK flag being backwards. I do agree with all logos being uniform, that's pretty much SOP glad they're waiting until 2015 to give that a go.

-Speaking of that. I guess you just cash in the cool card when you sign out of the maternity ward. Went out this weekend, although it's been like 2 months I completely forgot how to navigate Uber(not like it's difficult or I didn't use it 100 times the past year mostly intoxicated.) We were both turning into pumkins and I was yearning for my couch, son and a single malt by 10p. Last night, I felt 150 watching a little of the VMAs. Hopefully whatever that Miley **** was, reflects more on her being a f*cking weirdo and less on me being old.

???

Not sure I've ever said anything about Christi Thomas. Not that I recall, anyway.

Let's be honest, you turning into a pumpkin by 10pm is not a new development.

Took the oldest and one of his friends to the UK soccer game on Friday. Had a good time - huge crowd and CAYUTS FC won on a last-minute goal.

Oh, and there were also about a million hot college chicks there dressed for the club/pole/etc. Did not expect that, but I sure as **** appreciated it.

Also, Trey Lyles was just randomly hanging out there by himself. It amazes me how our bball kids can't wait to get the eff out of here and go to the league, but then they come running back at the first opportunity to just hang out. I guess they truly cherish their time here and will be wildcat freind forever and ever amen.

-Meh, we went out pretty much every Friday last year. Dinner was done at 11 and games the next day. I crushed the post season as well. I just don't have any reason to be out past midnight unless it's a real special occasion. This weekend I literally meant we were both tired and ready to get home, not that we just didn't want to go stand in line at Belle's and do that whole thing.

I don't know how people are still bar hopping every weekend into their mid 30's. I'm not even 35 and nothing sounds worse. I occasionally get a wild hair and want to go out but give me casual open air drinking beer mid afternoon bar then back deck of my house in the evening.

Also, lesbehonest... Lex doesn't have any decent adult bars.

-the sign looks ok in the picture but like crap in person. The different colors will drive me nuts. I just don't understand using vinyl signs, why not just paint it?

Ha. Can you imagine the ease of hand selecting any of those sloots when you're an 18 year old former UK player AND a millionaire? Especially compared to Utah? I'd be back every weekend.

yesterday anth was also sitting around wondering about jason days talent level. it has been confirmed that it is top notch as of this morning.

jason day. write that name down.
Again, facetious. I know you have a hard time with that. I really don't think he's going to win 10 majors or catch Tiger. He does have ridiculous game/power though... when he can stay upright.
