No greater certainty in the world than some public official from Kentucky embarrassing the whole damned state over the gay marriage issue in the next 72 hours. If the big names won't step up, some local county clerk will fill their shoes and let us know that he isn't issuing any marriage licenses to same sex couples because it wasn't what Jesus intended when He wrote the Constitution.

Oh hey.

Its on the radar. Problem is choosing which kids go. You come from a big family so you should get it. My 6 yo would never make it that late. 05 is fine but he'll get mad at 08 for getting tired. 07 will want to do it solo and then 05 would get pissed. Taking all 3 would be a mega disaster. 08 will throw a fit if he gets left at home bc he wants to be big. So we're working on it.

Awesome. This is going to be a complete **** show before it's all said and done. How did we manage to outflank Mississippi and Alabama on this one?

****BEEN A WHILE****

* Been busy as touch as work. We had a board of directors meeting last week to present our ideas for future advertising to Toyota dealers.

I am new to the TV commercial side of things so it was my first time presenting spots in front of a large group. WTF? I was petrified. I sucked at rehearsals but delivered when it counted. I would've failed speech class, though. No eye contact.

I have no idea why I was so nervous.

* Gonna watch Game 1 from the friendly confines of Wildcat Willy World, where I will be feeding 2 dozen+ people my first attempt at smoked brisket.

Adrian Baldwin likes this.

I believe Marge and I are going to celebrate anniversary #6 a week late by watching the Cats snap the longest losing streak in the nation on 9/19. This depends on me surviving the BTBC, of course. Pope, can I reserve a disease free spot in the Ricky Bubbly?

* Speaking of the Bike to Beat Cancer, if anyone would like to make a donation…

http://foundations.nortonhealthcare...oBeatCancer?px=1010103&pg=personal&fr_id=1100

* Yours truly has been assigned the task of designing the jerseys for FC Cincinnati (Toyota). :alien: Blue and orange, huh?

They are pouring a lot of money into this thing and really want to get in the MLS eventually. I know Columbus is close, but the regional rivalry idea has already proven to be successful in the MLS (Portland/Vancouver/Seattle).

* Speaking of soccer, I'm making my coaching debut at tonight's practice. The 4 and 5 year old Loveland Purple Hippos can expect a lot of blood, sweat and tears. And that is just while I stretch before practice. The head coach can't make it and I will be helping the beautiful assistant coach who also happens to be my wife.

* ***KOI POND UPDATE*** Many of you will be happy to know that an evil deer feasted on my $35 water lily in Lake Gyero. All 8 floating leaves were consumed last week. But shed no tears for me, plant lovers, there are already 4 new leaves as of this morning. And all 6 goldfish are thriving. #WhyWeDoThis

* Sometimes while doing yard work, I find myself morphing into Carl Spackler from Caddyshack. Especially when my milf neighbor is out working in her yard, too…

"Oh, Mrs. Crane, I'm looking at you... You wore green so you could hide. I don't blame you - you're a tramp! Ooh! That was right where you wanted it! Ooh Mrs. Crane, you're a little monkey woman you know that? You're a little monkey woman... You're lean and you're mean and you're not too far between either I bet, are ya? Would you like to wrap your spikes around my head?

* Fantasy draft Thursday night at the redneck heaven known as Dickman's Cafe.

* Fantastic running game vs our frosh LBers? Uh oh. I hope we score 50. :football:

* Late snack down from Jeff Ruby's last week… bacon wrapped scallops A+, asparagus A+, bone in strip (Collinsworth style) A+

* On a very serious note, I'm sorry to hear about your dog Richie.

Hang in there, bro.

Now it's made her a celebrity so rather than being about her faith it's about her ego. You know, the cornerstone of Christianity.

To clarify- I believe the husband mentioned in the headline is her third husband.
I saw on the news a couple she signed off for that the male was born a woman but obviously had transitioned into a man. No one even asked for an id or birth certificate they just signed the license.

Tuesday "Thank God It's September" Randos:

- I'm so happy to put August behind me. Seemed like it lasted a year.

- I'm just hoping I get to see the game Saturday. What are the odds a sports bar in Virginia has the SEC Network? I'm excited to meet the lass's dad, sounds like a great guy and considering how great she's been with my family with my uncle's passing away and just in general, I certainly owe ol' girl this weekend...BUT man, it just had to be on what has become one of my favorite weekends of the year to just booze and hang out with my buds. Still, wouldn't be at the game anyway, as I'm also missing a bachelor party in Columbus this weekend. Oh well. Imagine I'll eat really well all weekend and catch a buzz Saturday night. Her old man is a diehard "yell at the TV, alienate his wife during games" Dolphins fan so he'll get where I'm coming from. I will miss you guys, tho.

- And happy for SAE.

- Are we in bizarro world? How are TCU and Baylor the marquis programs in the B12?

- Seems we're coming up on an odd year in the SEC. Who knows with the East- Georgia? Tennessee? The West could go in a few directions. Picks? Guess I'll go Georgia and Bama.

- I think Notre Dame is elite again. I hope so, at least.

- Are we getting dangerously close to Indiana firing Crean? I sure hope not, but how long can this go on? Lucky for IU Hater, their administration has shown the remarkable ability to **** down their own leg time and time again.

- Count your blessings. My favorite and closest aunt's best friend is on her death bed down at UK right now. One of my good buddies lost his baby at birth last week. Has just felt like grief has been on the periphery of me all summer.

- This one was on my Timehop this morning- 7 years ago. What a great crew we have. A lot has changed since then both with UK sports and all of us personally, but all still good internet buddies seven years later.

-Is there a music app where your friends or people at the party can select songs for the queue? If not that would be a dope app. Tailgate mix on pandora is fine tuning.

-Granite guy in Lex rec?
Spotify for music queues

Kentucky Marble and Granite or Counter Culture if you want a great top done right.

A few years ago you would have thrown a GD fit, refused to go and then when she ended the relationship shortly thereafter been on here wondering why **** never works out.

Hearing that the post-game party on Saturday is either gonna be at Banana Joe's or A1A and *maybe* Varsity Blue-they are really hoping to host. I'll post updates as they come in.

Ok, Mr. Label. You're the worst of the followers. Jump right in line and maybe someone will think you're a southern frat boy.

While I deplore Geese's Keeneland hat (I was way out in front of that hate), they're is nothing wrong with Costa's, Vinny Vines, and Yeti coozies.

Step off Henthony.
