Nicklaus Design has been engaged by Legacy Point Capital to design a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in the City of Wilmore located just outside Lexington, Ky. The project will be named “Legacy Point” and the Nicklaus Signature Course will be nestled among the horse farms of the Bluegrass State, and will play across naturally rolling hills, sprawling treelines, and beautiful limestone creeks.
The best thing about this whole thing is that its not "sports cheating." Its not some european pro-league by law or some trip for AAU was payed or some confusing scandal about classes that were set up for athletes but regular students were in them blah blah blah. Its about prostitutes and statutory rape. Its something juicy that even the non-sports fan can get interested in and understand immediately, and its something women's rights groups can rally behind. Its an eye-catching, ratings boosting headline. Its something the common, general public will pay attention to which will look at college sports and the NCAA in a negative light - which is something the NCAA can't have. Just like with the whole Penn State fiasco and the NCAA pretty much laid down a punishment in 2 weeks. Its an opportunity for people to get all judgmental morally and start talking about dirty college sports - and the NCAA will pretty much have to act or else the whole damn farce of college athletics will be further exposed.
