We've got a group of coaches learning on the job. It's crap, but that's why it is. BUT- someone in the AD needs to sit some/all of them down and tell them PR is part of a job, when you **** down your leg don't fling the nuggets at the fans/press. And smart *** answers to legit questions is exactly that. You want to talk like Saban or Belichik then try winning like them first.

Nah. He'll get a raise and an extension after we beat Charlotte. Then the AD will pen a condescending, childish open letter to the fanbase to believe in the process and that he has total faith in this staff. 'Til the Battle is Won.

Hank is right - this total systems failure, coaching-wise, has sort of come out of nowhere. **** has just gone completely off the rails since the Missouri game. There were some issues before, but nothing like this. Something has gone horribly wrong in that locker room.

Not at all shocked that Eliot said that... This is the same guy searches out his name on Twitter and blocks multiple people for criticism even though they've never tagged him In a tweet.

Insecure, thin skinned, yes man for Stoops, and completely in over his head.

He needs to go, Dawson needs to go and hand the team to Barker... if Stoops wants to get his locker room and fanbase back

Yesterday I had the same feeling about Stoops as I did when Joker punted on the UT37 in 2010. Just total ineptness. Joker never recovered and I don't think Stoops does either.

Bring in a veteran DC and hire a touching ST coach at a minimum.

I'm not convinced Stoops hasn't handcuffed Dawson, but he has to be on thin ice as well.

There has to be a veteran coach on the sideline who knows when to tell Stoops to get his head out of his ***.

I don't have the ability to stop caring, but this really sucks. 2015 will go down as a major missed opportunity.

he was 3-8 in year 3.

btw.
Brady James' favorite pirate only won 3 games in year 1 and again in year 3 at WSU, too.

But I'm not sure his staff ever reached the monkey touching a football factor that we achieved yesterday. It was almost something to be proud of. Almost.

Add a new O line coach and you've nailed it IMO.

I'm just desperate for success in football. I want that Air Raid, F u attitude he brings. I stayed up past one to watch it. After the game in the post game he was still pissed about losing to Stanford. The guy is a proven winner with less. It will haunt me that he said at his book signing " My wife never forgave me for leaving Lexington."

My dad is 71. As I am sure most of you have parents getting older. I have this hope(although stupid) to be at the SEC football title game with my family just once. Bama on one side and BBN on the other side. All I want is a coach that gives us hope that one day it's possible. When the SEC is down we can steal one. If you want to make fun of me on the secret email chain knock yourself out. That's is why I am over the top. I apologize for venting my frustration.

Something has gone horribly wrong in that locker room.

Yup. And probably the coaching suite, as well.

There has to be an explanation that hasn't been revealed yet. Stoops seems to be fairly competent on the whole, if a little hot-headed and immature.

He's not going anywhere so bitching about it is meaningless but I would really like to see a complete staff overhaul (except Vince Marrow) with a plan to add some greybeard experience and get everything professional and crisp.

And a clause added to Stoops' contract that if there is a single f***ing play in 2016 where there are less than 11 men on the field that he's fired for cause immediately without any further payment.

That **** is ridiculous. If Tubby or Billy Clyde rolled 3 players on the court after a timeout they'd be shitcanned that evening and rightfully so.

I mean BBN went apoplectic when Dwight Perry had to start and didn't even have a name on his jersey because some assistant screwed the pooch on the lineup card.

I'm not a college football but I do know that having the maximum number of guys on the field at all times is step one toward not being a complete farce.

Good Lord. I feel stupid for even having to point this out.

Now I'm going to read Bounce Back and rewatch the 2012 basketball championship game just to bask in the glow of obvious competence.

I feel like yesterday was the equivalent of that Joker moment when he ran Morgan "Derp" Newton repeatedly inside the ten when he had Randall F***ing Cobb available to slash and dash.

I believe this does play into it. Donovan's best years at Florida was when he brought in Shyatt who was more experienced. I think it makes a big difference to have someone there who has been down that road and is telling you not to take the same path. I just don't know who what would be for this clustertouch.

And since I'm in full tirade mode, I would like to point out that by-God Tubby Smith handled a locker room mutiny in 2002 like a champ. He exiled Adam Chiles and Dog Carruth and let Jason Parker do whatever idiotic thing he was going to do next. I am pretty sure he punched Jules Camara on the sidelines on television that year too.

Tubby took his lumps, finished the year with a straight face, and set fire to that roster in the offseason.

And we were awesome in 2003. (After some brief hiccups at the beginning.)

Maybe Stoops needs to sit down for a long lunch at Rafferty's with Orlando and figure some **** out.

Still keep going back to 1st down from inside the 1-yard line with a 6-'5" 240 lb. QB and you lineup in a pistol/shotgun formation. Just unbelievable.

3 times in a row no less and then a qb plunge under center for the 4th down.

Why not just do a qb dive each time? I'm sure I can go 12" each time

A lot of teams are doing that now on the goal line- overthinking it and getting cute instead of lining it up and smashing it in.

I blame the softness of this millennial hipster generation of college kids.

-We had to go full clusterf*ck mode for Vandy to win and that's exactly what happened. Hard to put that one on the players minus the drops. Still though. We scored all their points and couldn't score ourselves from inside the 5.

-Shew, when Murray, Ulis and Skal all click in the same game. Mercy. That 2nd half was just pure fun.

-Big difference this year, from all years but maybe 11, we seem to have 3 stars and then a bunch of guys that are 100% in on being role players. I really couldn't be more impressed with Briscoe's attitude. Thought he may have a score first mentality. Gets down on D, crashed the boards, didn't force anything.

Man I love this team. The pieces just seem to fit and once they figure it out. [jumpingsmile]

-OSU on ESPU. FYI.

Can anyone explain the TD/Non TD for Garrett Johnson?

Here is my problem, toe was down before heel.......therefore how is that any different than toe down when running toward sideline and being drug out of bounds BUT being a catch?

I just don't understand the difference.

-He's not firing DJ. No way. That's his boy. Dawson would be the lamb but my thoughts are we end up with 5 wins and no changes are made.

-Clicked on Periscope just in time to see Rousey get knfo. Pretty funny, really. The fact that idiots were talking about her having the ability to beat up dudes and of all these dudes Floyd f*cking Mayweather is much worse than any "Could UK beat an NBA team" hyperbole.

-Nice BBall lineup today.

I think Duke waxes us Tuesday. Our defense isn't there yet, too many freshmen, figure we get all sorts of BS fouls called. Doesn't mean anything, our March ceiling is much higher than Duke. I just have visions of touch foul on the perimeter, flopping gaffot charge calls and people throwing themselves into Skal.

Stupid comments aside, I can't get too mad at the DC for yesterday. Their only points were the trick play, and 14 points off turnovers. D was solid, as it should have been against Vandy. It's literally like the offense set out to do just enough to make us lose. Offense/playcalling directly responsible for all 21 points Vandy scored, and kept another 3 scores off the board for us.

-LOL at Briscoe playing for long stretches with his mouthguard hanging out of his mouth. Just chewing on it.

For all the bad play calls and head scratching decisions... If he goes for 2 like he should, calls a timeout when he should've it's a tie game and we likely win in OT

The amount of opportunities we were handed and allowed to slide through our grasp is astounding.

I know they suck, but as recently as the South Carolina game we TOOK opportunities to win that game.

The regression in coaching is clear and I think anything short of cleaning house is a giant mistake for Stoops this off season.

Clyde Dawson refuses to take any blame for our offense taking a giant step back from last years and Eliot has done zero to inspire hope for any future ...

Stoops once said at some point when you've had so many reps for a guy and nothing changes you have to move on to the next guy, he should follow his own advice and words, but he's not shown he can do that either so who knows what the future holds, unfortunately

Bottom line- we are 34 games into this staff's tenure and part of every opponent's scouting report on us still contains the phrase "they dumb lol". That's a problem.

Hiring some "grey beards" so Stoops doesn't continue to make basic mistakes seems to be wrong on many levels. He has been a head coach for 3 years. He should have got the hang of it by now. Also, there are plenty of young, first time head coaches who excel. Preparation and attention to detail is what is needed, not grey hair.

I just don't understand the difference.

The rule says the cleats must be facing the field for the toe tap to be a catch. His cleats weren't, explains why it was an incompletion.

90% of Vandy's offense consisted of dives up the middle. Their game plan was basically take a knee for four quarters, play D, and hope we **** on ourselves...and it worked!

I wish I could not care like WCC but it's not in me, I do. And I'm bummed because I truly want to like this staff...but damned if they aren't making it real difficult right now.
