Macho Nacho seems like a laid back version of Coba at the same price point and Coba isn't exactly killing it, even with Jonathan Lundy.

I finally went there last week [laughing]

It's ridiculous. It really should be in the Wynn or something like that, instead it's on Richmond Rd b/w a Walgreens, dilapidated BP, super shady apartments and like 3 cleaners. Food was decent, pretty dumb you can't mix and match tacos. Menu is overwhelming, just shy of the Cheesecake Factory in variety of options. Luchador is way better and will be in town soon. Even rumor of Yummy Pollo coming to Lex. Things... they're looking up in ol LEX.

Yea, Coba Cocina shouldn't be in the Wynn (or something). It's cheap and tacky. Pretty sure it was mostly fitted out at Lowe's.

It's about right for central Kentucky, though. Enjoy.

I've been to Coba 3 times, twice because we had a $100 gift card and once because my mom wanted to see the jellyfish tank. That's with a 50% discount. Not only is the menu big but it changes a lot, and not just seasonal items, but the entire structure.

Youfit is on Richmond right on my path to and from work. I just really want to know if they have showers. Probably just run by there Thursday and check it out. Not looking for anything extravagant as most of my workouts are on the bike/running. I just need to mix in some damn weights.

[jumpingsmile] @ UL. I mean... [roll]

U of L has been rocked by theft, embezzlement and other scandals in recent years, as well as recent allegations that a university employee supplied escorts to basketball players and recruits. Another scandal was triggered when President James Ramsey and his staff dressed in stereotypical Mexican costumes at a party at the president’s mansion.

In the series of embezzlement, from 2008 through 2014, authorities alleged that U of L employees stole, misspent or mishandled at least $7.6 million at the College of Education, the health science campus, the law school, the business school and the athletic department's ticket office.

The string of offenses began when Education Dean Robert Felner was accused of defrauding U of L and another university of $2.3 million. He pleaded guilty to nine federal charges, including income tax evasion, and served 63 months in prison. U of L last year announced it was adopting accounting and other reforms recommended in an audit to tighten financial controls.

Ramsey also has been criticized for his lucrative compensation after The Courier-Journal reported this year that he and his two top aides were paid millions of dollars in deferred compensation and that he was paid 2 ½ times more than the average of the Atlantic Coast Conference's other 14 presidents and chancellors — all of whose universities are ranked far higher academically than U of L.

Some faculty also complained after disclosures that the university foundation had paid a full year's salary to outgoing vice presidents Michael Curtin ($252,350) and Larry Owsley ($248,255) and to the assistant to the president, Vivian Hibbs ($66,391), in part to induce them not to "disparage, demean or impugn the university or its senior leadership," and paid another $346,844 to its top lawyer, Angela Koshewa, to induce her to resign without suing the university.
GYERO Poll:

B. Rick Pitino

If you get a chance to see a jellyfish tank and it DOESN'T involve you being kidnapped by a James Bond villain, I mean you gotta take advantage.

It's pretty bad when it wouldn't shock you if UofL administrators were next investigated for plotting a murder.

fournette is still a better player than henry. you can't ignore the 5 extra carries a game that henry got, nor the fact that fournette is a year younger.

How big of a goon do you feel like going into the DMV and ordering a vanity plate that says "DrX" on it? "Umm, yes ma'am, I want it to say DrX. Yes, it's a Porsche. Did you know I'm a doctor?"

This reminds me I need to renew my tags. Can you renew specialty (UK plates, not vanity) via the mail?

That would be similar to me requesting "Bens" as my license plate for my fictional Mercedes. I cringe just thinking about it.

Can't you just send an underling? Give em cash, the proof of insurance and the old registration. I don't think I've ever been asked for ID.

I'm look for underling volunteers then. Actually, I would pay someone to do it. That raises a good question. How much would you pay someone to not have to do stand in that line? Wouldn't you think in 2015 that we are advanced enough as a society to have another way to renew tags?

Some simple things I'm looking for tmw night..

* Some improvement with attacking a zone.. Ball movement, spacing, finding the soft spot. We can't continue to just drive into a brick wall of sagging defenders.

* Better outside shooting. Realize we'll never be a great 3 point shooting nor depend heavily on it but gracious we have to prove we can hit some consistently to soften up the d and open up driving lines.

* A more aggressive Skal. Absorb contact and go after the boards.

- A more relaxed Murray. The game has to slow down for him.

- Finished up Christmas shopping on Sunday. Such a relief to have it done in early December. Think I did well with the lass and she's earned it.

- Starting watching House of Cards on Netflix. Not a huge shows person but really enjoying this series.

- Real trees x 1,000,000 > fake trees. Absolutely worth the trouble.

Hey Sloot, some Americans need to make livings by providing menial services to folks who may not have high-powered wifi throughout their charming Montclair homes where such tasks could be completed more conveniently.

Put your big girl pants and horsey boots on and get down to the County Clerk's office with your paperwork and a check. K?

I burned through House of Cards in no time at all. I think the first two seasons especially are fantastic TV.

If you go in the middle of the month on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and avoid the lunch crowd it's not even a big deal.

SAE, thank you for using Montclair. :fistbump:
