I haven't finished it yet but this week's Freakanomics podcast is about a lady eating 2 cheeseburgers a week for a year looking for the best cheeseburger and fry in Louisville.

Might as well have been Frisch's, she determined this was the best burger and fry in Louisville.

- Damn, GYERO brought it today.

- Nothing wrong with a Frisch's Big Boy with extra tarter.

- Red Ranch can get pumped.

- Shower sex is the least enjoyable sex, would rather do it in a car.

- Speaking of which, the ex I just broke up with used to give me public bjs all the time. Every Uber home from the bar. Classy AF.

- Only been sat next to a really hot chick once on a plane...a 25 minute connection from Greensboro to Charlotte.

- Great GYERO today.

- Frisch's is awesome. GGP if you don't like Frisch's. Christ.

- I miss Bonzo.

- Shower sex is fun. Always been a fan.

- BBdK's stubborn refusal to admit Penn Station's PCS is delicious is one of the Top 20 things I hate about him.

I like Frisch's for their salad bar..of course that cake thing is amazing.

Tartar Sauce on a burger? No thanks.

Shake Shack > Burger Joint, although the latter is more 'cool' I guess. I'm all for 'hidden' places to eat & drink, although the interwebs have pretty much killed all that. Le Meridian is dope tho.

JG Melon is next on my list. Never make it up there, but It's up in your UES hood next week, Anth. Lunch & a midday cocktail at Bemelmans while Sloot breastfeeds?

Joey/Dennis, either of you ever make it to Shopsin's? That place/guy just fascinates me...craziest/weirdest menu in the world -- the Documentary on that guy is a good watch. Sounds like my kinda dude.

[laughing] I mean, WTF is this?

^ That's the 1st page....of 4, that are just like it.

Full look here. o_O It's worth a scroll. I mean, most of this **** sounds disgusting, but I'm still intrigued. His kitchen is the size of Anth's home office/crib room, TS.

Pretty sure he'll cuss me out and tell me to GTFO, which apparently happens about 30% of the time if he doesn't 'feel' you.

We dated a year...I probably hung on for the last couple months just because of the BJs. Incredible stuff. Would have debated marrying her for that trait alone. #Priorities

--The Wendy's in Mount Sterling was torn down to build a new one in its place, and it just reopened this week after three months. The whole town is acting like they've never had Wendy's before. The drive-thru line to get in the place at 7pm when I was headed home from work the other night was all the way down the street and the parking lot was full.

-- The firefighter who passed away had his funeral procession pass by work today. Very long procession of EMTs and firetrucks. The whole town stopped, as it went by. Hate that stuff like that has been happening so often lately.

I'm sure Chad and I have similar oyster cracker proclivities as I have at least two varieties in my pantry right now.

Furthermore, I nominate "Oyster Cracker with Hot Sauce Drop" for my office's Canstruction entry every year. (It has never been chosen.)

FYI: You will lose gourmand standing if you spiral with this take further.:100points:

I never made it there. I only had Shake Shack / Burger Joint a few times, I just thought the picture "looked" like Burger Joint. I had a ton of burgers from my little diner because it was close.

The one foodie tip I do have is the burrito spot on my old block: Zaragoza.

I ate a philly cheese steak from Frisch's today with no knowledge of the battle brewing here. I did not profit, as a matter of fact it was about 9 bucks with onion rings and a large coke. I did however enjoy said lunch with a little streak of A1 right down the middle. I am neither proud nor sad of this fact as it was a GD sandwich made by a lady wearing a hair net.

-Can't believe how many people misspelled Chicken Teriyaki from PS.

-Hardee's $6 burger isn't bad, but their Mushroom & Swiss is on touching time.

-That A&W on Main offers up a decent burger also..

-LJS twice a year is really all the colon can stand. 2 pc fish/chicken, couple extra hush puppies, maybe some extra crispies in there for good measure....vinegar/tarter/hot sauce in that order for the fish filets.

<---Remembers when LJS served "Peg Legs" and not chicken strips.

-Controversial...J-Boy>>Big Boy

-Park Hills...heh. Don't sound like much has changed. Lived in a duplex across Man O'War, and used to work at that liquor store over by Spuds. Would pick up the ****** in the drive-thru, take them in the game room in the back, and do blow all night. Good times right there..[smoke]

-Dropped a couple rec's for the Barclays folk couple pages back, which probably got lost in the pre-game shuffle. Might be worth writing something down.

-Nice work today, fellas.

Wtf goes to Frisch's and doesn't get tartar sauce on their food? What a weirdo.

Unless you got a jar of it to dip your rings in, asked for the cherry up charge on the Coke, and witnessed a gang bang in the parking lot.

Frisch's is terrible. Tartar sauce on a burger is disgusting. The last time somebody talked about it on here I got curious and did not profit. Pretty much felt like **** for 36 hours. And this from a person who lives off of red meat.

Also had a similar experience last year with a strange craving for LJS.

Never again.

Probably have to be a pretty seasoned fast foodie to handle LJS. Going from almost never to LJS will sit you down. I'd say the same for Taco Bell, Hardee's, Rally's or White Castle. That'll put your body in shock.
