Saw there were a couple serious motorcycle accidents in Louisville this weekend. Completely agree, there's just no margin for error on those things. Gotta be insane or dumb to ride.

I've rode motorcycles since I got my first one at 7. Been without a motorcycle for about 5 years but often ride one of dad's. Prefer to go out in large groups and get out in the country away from stupid people. Always been a good stress reliever and fun spending time with the old man. Be smart in wearing proper safety gear (like a helmet you idiots), ride in groups, & get out of the city. All you can do is prepare for the worst and hope today isn't your day. Kind of true of all forms of life though, not just for motorcyclists.

Oh Rondo..

...to a gay referee. :weary:

Pretty hypocritical imo, isn't Rondo gay?

-Nick Young just seems like one of those athletes that files for bankruptcy within a year of being cut. He wore f*cking moccasins in a game recently.

-Ben Simmons not caring about the NCAAT [laughing] Gotcha.

-No, a motorcycle is not comparable to general dangers in all forms of life. I get the appeal I just don't understand it.

-Monk not on the Summit team? That's BS.

-First time I've lifted in ages. I'm sure that's going to hurt a little. Loving the gym though. 3 people in the whole gym. Clean showers. $10/month.

-I'll take Rawle out of that group. He's a guy I REALLY REALLY wanted. Big shooting guards from NYC, yes please. Next up would be Bolden. Wonder if Skal will see court next year?

-Jimmy Wall dropping 50k on a Dallas Strip Club. Thatta Boy.

Yep. Really, like for everything else in life, it's just a matter of whether or not the Big Man is ready to call you home when you go 85 mph on the interstate riding a motor attached to two wheels. You simply can't avoid dying in motorcycle accidents IF that's HIS plan.

-Want no part of Kobi Simmons. Especially not if Alkins is available. Love that guy's game. Comes from NYC, shines in big games, big enough to be put out at the 3 if necessary, and getting him would hurt a rival, since his other main schools seem to be UL/IU/UNC, etc. If all three of this team's guards leave, then I want that kid on board.

Don't see a need for Bolden at all. You'll have an improved Ike, Wynyard, and BAM.....all three big bodies. Bam/SKJ/Gabriel are shot-blockers. Don't see the need to bring in another big.

Simmons seems like a bit of a headcase, was unimpressive over the summer, etc. Always had a bad feeling about him.

-We have 30 hours of Christmas programming sitting on our DVR. Constant rotation of movies/specials. The usual classics, plus solid newcomers like "Shrek the Halls", etc. I love about 90 percent of it.

-Anyone else occasionally get wistful over "Monday Night Football" from the 70's/80's, when it actually carried some prestige by being the only primetime game? Heard a 1986 MNF intro the other day and kinda made me miss those days.

Had a friend make the same argument re: motorcycle deaths. He said, "you either die or you don't, it's 50/50 every day." My friend is really stupid

i don't know who tyga is, but is he bankrupt yet? about once a week i see his name pop up for buying yet another super luxury item for whichever kardashian he's pounding.

per social media, doxman is confused about non biting sharks. they are sharks that don't bite. very confusing, for sure.

ben simmons is so much fun to watch. it's a shame he isn't going to be that transformative player, like a freshman jason kidd. i would root for that version of simmons. but if he's just going to put up stats on an underachieving sec west team, f him. hope they lose every game, and future recruits take notes.

Would love to add a 4* level sniper, personally.

Kinda over stockpiling nothing but athletic freaks, mix it up.

(Yes, I know Fox & Monk are respectable shooters)

Exactly. I'm not saying I'd trade any of our guys, our class is SICK.

But do we need 7, 6'10 players? I'd much rather have a few designated shooters to add to a mix of crazy-talented players...

if there's one weakness in caliparis recruiting, it's shooting. he's just places NO value in it. he just defers to the old "be the very best you can be" nonsense.

drives me nuts. it doesn't have to be a 4 star, either. just a white dude who can get open and bury 3s. they're all over the place. can we really not find ONE to waste a scholarship on every 2-3 years?

Prior to the 1930's you could make the claim, "welp you're gonna go when the Big Guy calls your number." People died back in the day for some silly *** reasons.

There is no more valuable skill in the NBA right now than shooting. So you would think we would place some emphasis on it given our recruiting pitch.

-watching Tyler U brick threes reminds me of the debate last year BBDK and I had. I claimed Booker was the pure shooter of the bunch, BBDK insisted they were the same player in regards to shooting. From mt lions, to basketball, to gyero Olympics, the guys been on the losing end of every argument we have ever had. Starting to feel bad, hope he wins something soon between us.

-Jamaica for Thanksgiving was fine, just not big on the timing. Also didn't like the travel time, other places just as good closer.

-old lady attended a cookie exchange with about 40 hens, and a hen said I was a dick with no Xmas spirit for my Facebook post about elf on the shelf. 15 + hens came to the rescue claiming it was the funniest thing they have ever read, and it was not only funny, but true. They basically shunned this chick. So I avoided my normal talk about how im a dick, after the wife goes out with other hens.

Football staff stuff is insane right now...I don't like when people do the "if only folks knew" thing but there is really no other way to talk about it. No idea how its going to shake out but apparently yesterday was quite the day around Nutter. I expect a final call one way or the other on a couple of the guys by Wednesday.

Honestly besides Marrow/Scott/Ansley (if he wanted to stay), I am not sure its totally clear what is going to happen with any of the others.

That's all well and good, but honestly all we want is ***** scuttlebutt.

Doron Lamb was so crucial to that 2012 team. One of the best baseline jump shooters I've seen. If a team has a player that can hit that shot, they are pretty much impossible to defend. A lost art for sure. We should've done it a lot more last season with Lyles.

We kind of lucked into Lamb. I don't think anyone predicted Lamb coming out of HS would be the most accurate 3 shooter in UK history.
