Honestly, could we have possibly made a better hire? I don't have a clue who it would have been given the situation.
No. I was pretty nervous today when it got shaky. Must be a hell of a friend to leave a cake walk job in Cincy for the SEC doormat. Staff needed a victory, that's for sure.

Was Stoops always this disorganized or did the pressure of the job do it to him? I think he seemed more competent in his first year even though we were 2-10.

I think we can see better through his inexperience now. First year we were all excited by the Stoops name and let's be honest, anyone was better than Joker. Year 2, fast start and "We're just getting started, bro" got us all excited. This year when he was handed his cakewalk of a schedule and collapsed, we all started realizing that maybe the entire package isn't there. I hope he gets it's right. I really do. But he needs to fix it and fix it with a quickness.

If any sure thing could use it, it's Skal. He needs a year of solid mentors, Kenny Payne and the freshman 15. He's a pretty unique case where his experience is so limited. Tough to tell a kid from Haiti to wait on millions though when regardless he's a mid first rounder.

Yeah, I think ultimately that kind of money will be impossible to pass on for someone from his background. The guy in Memphis probably cost this kid millions. More worried about keeping his meal ticket close and controlling outside influences than getting him actual coaching against real competition.

Given someone will likely take it and toss it in a drawer or trash and never look at it again, it seems like a waste of time.

Eddie Gran is a solid choice at this point. I have been Mitch's biggest critic but if he did sway him to take the job respect to the top button. Every reason right now to stay in that overrated river town for another year over lex.

Game every 4 days for rest of season I see 7-8 losses. 3-5 seed. Come March Murray/ulis/briscoe best backcourt in Cbb like my team.

Oh and shout out to batchelor party organizer. 6 bedroom house downtown Nashville for duration of sec tournament weekend plus it's not me getting married :fire:

I'm not talking about a business card for me, I just mean in general. Saw one, thought it was kind of odd.

Business cards are dumb. I'm 100% of throwing them in the trash over the past 7-8 years. Bump a digital contact or gtfo.

No, I don't have a business card because I'm not a 50 year old real estate agent. (No offense... not mocking hard working people just their love for business card collecting)

Teaching hospitals have so many residents of different levels and different teams of specialists that most services in our hospital have business cards with faces on them.

It's pretty awesome when you roll into see a patient and they flip through 10+ cards trying to find you. Just confuses the old folks even more.

I'm sure they were great before the intrawebs and our guys successfully use the hell out of them. I just don't subscribe to the practice.

Rick Pitino is the Least Likable Figure in College Sports

By Aaron Torres
Dec 28, 2015 at 10:49 a ET

If you asked the common fan who is the least likable person in all of college sports, virtually everyone would come up with the same two or three names. Nick Saban would probably be at the top of the list, and Urban Meyer and Lane Kiffin wouldn't be far behind. Plenty of people would throw out John Calipari's name, or Coach K's and maybe even Jim Boeheim's too.

Yet there's one guy whose name never seems to come up on these lists, even though his behavior and actions are considerably worse than anyone I listed above. He's a man who has proven to have virtually no moral compass off the court, and on the court, has a program that is currently in the midst of the NCAA's crosshairs. And yet despite all that, despite the fact that he continues to make an embarrassment of both his school and himself, he found time to put himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons again this weekend.

That man is Rick Pitino, and while fans continue to dislike Coach K, Calipari and Saban for reasons only known to them, I am here to say that Pitino is, without a doubt, the most impossible person to like in all of college sports. And since no one else is going to call him out for making a fool of himself Saturday I will do so here.

I'll also raise a question that no one else will bother to: Why is Pitino allowed to get away with all this crap?
Man, I hope he does retire this year so he can come back next year at Rupp and we can honor this great man with a standing O!

REMEMBER THAT ONE TIME RICK WON A CHAMPIONSHIP HERE NEVER FORGET 911!
