Was originally rooting for Sepp Kuss, but after hearing about him nonstop all weekend, I'm already over the guy. At the tailgate, at the game w/ my section buddies, at brunch Sunday pre-Bengals, and every talk radio show I listened to hoping for the CFB talk, all anyone wanted to talk about was the universally loved Sepp.
Congrats on hating America.

Finally did some yard work for the first time since we moved in last fall (edging/weeding/mulching). I can't believe I used to do that for a living. I can hardly walk today. Came inside just in time for a full Saturday slate. Great day of football on the couch. Grilled some glizzys. My son turned 12 & invited 10 of his closest buddies for a sleepover. Think they finally hit the hay around 4:30. Made it easy for me to stay up for the conclusion of the Wakanda/Colorado State game. Still a fun storyline to keep up with. Don't think they'll make a playoff, but man, its appointment viewing until they lose.

I understand that AI probably has a place in our culture, but I will never understand why companies choose to use AI voiceovers in their ads. Immediate turnoff for me, the consumer. AI voice lacks any sort of cadence or warmth & to me that's a huge part of making me want to buy your product. I don't like hearing Siri try and sell me on Fresh Clean Threads. Just doesn't feel right.

Such a boring slate to start Kentuckys season. Thank goodness we finally start SEC play this weekend at *checks notes* VANDERBILT. Good grief.

Speaking of menus. How are there still restaurants in 2023 that open and don't have a menu available online somewhere? Even if it's a Facebook picture taken with a phone get SOMETHING on the internet.

You must go to some odd places, or have a very limited selection of things you like.

-Wayne you didn’t miss anything but I did mention it last week. With most reaching out in PM it just seems easiest to get the bottles to a tailgate and Anth kindly took it from there.

Thanks again.

- Man there is nothing worse than getting to this point in a baseball season and having your playoff ticket all but locked in, but then going 2-8 for a stretch.

As a manager you have got to finish this out. Fold in the WC game, and that’s fine, but you can’t just not make it now.

Getting swept after dropping 3/4 to the same team 10 days ago is unaccceptable!

- Titans with an upset yesterday. Enjoyed it immensely and gaining confidence Vrabel can take back this division.

- UK football breaks out this week. But that 9/30 game with the Gators is looking ALOT more interesting!

Silver lining of them beating the Vols is Napier gets at least 1 more season! Their fans are still very very suspect.

- RE: Deion

That was adversity enough, and I’m happy to be back on board cheering for the underdog! CSU took plenty of dirty shots and tried to push the bully around. I did notice on the coaches handshake that Deion took his glasses off.

- Glad to hear everyone liked that Armanac finish. Very well may be a finish I continually roll out. Armanac, Toasted, Orange and Honey are about as far as I’m willing to go despite brands going bonkers with finishes and selling crap.

- Was happy to find out Bourbon and Beyond is over and had no issues. Sadly we now have Louder than Life rolling in this weekend. Just not my vibe and it totally destroys traffic in that area which gets daily use from me.

- Billions, Winning Time, Heelz, and Force all peaking at the same time is good.

Can't sleep on any opponent the rest of the way. No gimmes.

Kickoff next week for Florida, hoping Vandy/Mizzou and A&M/Arky get the noon games. Those are the two weakest matchups, tv and otherwise.

First wedding in awhile this past weekend. All hip hop and pop songs, 60% I was not familiar with. All the kids under 30 knew every lyric. Blew my mind. Getting old. Danceable and a good time had by all.

Deion's shtick will grow old, mainly by being too visible. Dabo Swinney-esque. Maybe he will outrun it to the NFL.

-I was saying during the game that CSU was definitely taking cheap shots all game.

Also, noticed that the CSU coach didn’t take his hat off in the interaction like he said he does.

Hunter with a lacerated liver and will miss at least 3 weeks. Surely the other guy will get suspended. Only good news is they were very likely going to lose the next two with or without him. So he can rest games they were losing anyway and can say yeah well we didn’t have our #1 player and we’ll stay in the National conversation.

-I travel often and have seen many restaurants that don’t have anything online, it’s strange they didn’t even think to put a menu anywhere but in the restaurant.

-Speaking of QR codes, one of my umpteen court days I was parking by sidebar and tried to use the meters QR code and it said this code has reached its monthly limit. Didn’t know that was a thing.

Opening up conference play at noon against Vanderbilt has ho-hum sleepwalk written all over it.
Remember when we're making it look like a chore deep into the game that it's by design according to some.

- Rolling up to Cincy this afternoon for a conference. Figure it won't hurt to get out to the yard one more time before the season ends and catch a playoff contender.

- Schems outdid themselves for the Zips tailgate. Seared beef tenderloin, crab cakes, shrimp the size of Tyler Ulis, some renowned sommelier from Napa getting the hussies buzzed on high class vino. Add in some world famous Indie's wings that Richie muled in from the River City and it was one of the best post-Covid tailgates that this wildcat fan can recall 🤘

- Tony’s > Ruby’s when it comes to the food. Ambiance is a push and depends on if you’re in the mood for a full band or a subtle jazz background performance.

- Not to take anything away from what Deion has done turning around the Buffalos, but when you combine GameDay and the 60 Minutes feature along with non-stop hype on the four letter network, it’s going to get old quick.

- Home sauna remains one of the best splurge purchases. Hit it a few days in a row after a hard-lived weekend and your bounce back is severely aided.

- Have reached out to multiple painters to repaint a large section of my new living quarters, which is sure to make them a nice wage a yet can’t get anyone to return a call / email. If you’re in the service / contracting business, would think just returning email inquiries or showing up to quote a job would be common practice but I guess that’s asking too much.

- Have to think SECN for Florida when you’re up against A&M v Arkansas from Cowboy Stadium.

- Hiw do you lose an F-35? You can put an AirTag on anything and yet an 80m advanced fighter can just *poof* disappear 🫠

Trust i've been monitoring this missing fighter jet and I do have some requests for comments out to the usual suspects (Putin, Kim Jon, Tiff Gomas). I will get to the bottom of this.

Love my sauna as well but I am not hauling that thing back to the Sauna errr Sunshine State.

Be happy to sell it if anyone wants to pick it up.

I am definitely taking the cold tub though, obviously.

Hmmm, where is it at?
Off Tates Creek between MOW & 4. I will say when they moved it they broke the glass door so I have a moving blanket I just cover the door with and it works just the same. Think it’s the same model as anth/sloots, definitely same brand.

It was discussed in the text group but the gal on the call Saturday night was *really* concerned anytime the play clock got under 5 seconds. "TWO SECONDS- DOES HE SEE IT?!!!" She was making me way more anxious than necessary.

Leary and the offense seemed to make a step forward, still with a lot of unforced errors that can get cleaned up. And holding any team to 3 points anymore is pretty solid from a defense.

What are the details/spec on this sauna?- I know a ton of people that are in the market for one.

Looked into getting Childers tix for my wife when they went on sale and what I had to choose from were $135 for somewhat decent tickets, for a total of close to $300 for the pair including fees. Add in $100 for a babysitter, $50-$100 for either drinks or dinner before hand and whatever other costs are involved and I Just couldnt justify paying that much for an artist i've seen before- in an era where he was, imo, a better version.

Also- in the category of "OVERPRICED ****" my wife wants to take out daughter to Disney this winter just before her 2nd birthday. I asked if we could wait until maybe 3-4 so she would have a little more of an idea whats going on but that was laughed right out of the park. What a perfect ploy from my wife to be able to argue that this is something for our daughter when its absolutely only a trip for my wife's social media. Really paints me in a corner.

I've probably detailed my disdain for Disney before, but it goes back to 1987 when I was 5- the only time ive been on a trip there. It was discovered on the airplane to orlando that I had chicken pox. So I got to sit in a hotel room for 7 days and watch as my sister left for the park every day with one parent, while the other stayed with me in the hotel and blamed me for ruining their vacation. So Disney can eat ****. Walt, Mickey, the tea cups- ALL of them.

That makes the story about sitting on a curb eating chicken outside a bar that you were denied entry pale in comparison.

Was really disappointed they didn't announce the Tennessee-Florida score at the game one time. Note to UK gameday coordinators: anytime Tennessee has lost a game, announce the score at the stadium. Hell, announce it anytime they are behind at a quarter. It would get louder than during the Blue-White cheer. C'mon Carl, give us what we want.

Also, maybe wait until game breaks to have your hussies throwing t-shirts instead of when EVERYONE IS ACTUALLY WATCHING THE GAME. They need to do some curls or give them a cannon because none of them got it over 10 rows anyway.

It’s a 2 person sauna, I’ll have to look the rest up when I get back from Appalachia.

New they’re $2-3K, I’d do it for $500 though.

Don't regret not taking the kids to Disney.

UK's inability to post scores consistently and/or update on a timely basis combined with 0 Wifi when you have money on the line is unacceptable. When Mitch partners with DraftKings at Rich Brooks Field, sponsored by CM Newton's urinal, then we'll.....

Any kid younger than 5-6 will never remember going and when their friends all start going will want to go again.

My 7YO doesn’t remember 2 years ago when we went. Lego world, Busch gardens, Disney none of it!

We’ll take him and the 4YO in 2 years I’m sure.

By then the oldest 2 will want to stay in the room on their video games and phones, if they even want to go and not stay home with friends!
