Norton Commons may judge me but God doesn’t pal, 😆.

Just got another court date from dads other son joining myself and my lawyer as co-defendants now for 10/12.

I won’t be there though and already told my lawyer that. I’ll be having lunch by the water with my gal pal while they sit in court.

In fact, I’m not going to court period anymore. Slap a bench warrant at me, dgaf, it’s harassment at this point.

- Had to be apart of a bourbon tasting at 10am this morning. Too early for me, but given my current mental state why not.

Local Louisville Bourbon club that pushed me for the Armanac finish idea is doing the once a month tasting until juice is ready.

Totally different Armanac barrels, and totally different profiles. Kind of cool to learn that part of it and how Armanac can be so different.

Bourbon is about all I really have a care to get out of bed to deal with at the moment, besides my kids.

Have caught so many bass and crappie lately my friends told me they have enough to last all winter. It’s feeding time and I’ve been taking advantage of it. Back to catch and release starting tomorrow until mid October then it’s time for sauger.

Just seems like the SEC is down this year. Great opportunity for the Cats to put it together and finally win the East.

Surely the 6 Billion we gave to Iran for 6 people was tainted with radiation. Seems like that would be the best option.

I thought PTI called it a "gunt"? Laughed my *** off when I read that the other day.

Also, "grundel" is a funny word that refers to the perineum. Apparently there are drugs on the market that affect this area. I heard on one of those BIG PHARMA commercials last weekend. F Big Pharma. Out here messing with our grundels.

So the Mrs and I are a contemplating a trip to the Caribbean this spring for our 20th. No kids obv. Thinking about an all inclusive where I don’t have to worry about anything other than sitting by the pool, what I’m gonna drink and eat and how many times a day we can ….(15 is my limit on schnitzengrubens)

All inclusive and adults only. Been twice but not since Marriott bought it.

https://sanctuarycapcana.com/
I’ll second this one…have also been twice but not since Marriott bought it….maybe we went with you…were you there in November? Only downside I have ever heard of Sanctuary is the beach in front of hotel is small, man made cove type beach. But you can easily walk next door to bigger, nicer beach.

Rays haven't averaged 20k in attendance since 2010. The county footing half the bill.

I can see the seniors who live down there walking all around that circus and not spending any money inside or outside the stadium.

Good luck to everyone involved.

Last trip was Nov before the pandemic. First was 2 years prior.

Both times the seaweed on the beach was a problem. We'll go chill by the water for a little bit but it's more fun hanging around the pools chatting with folks.

From what I remember next door, it's a pretty unmaintained beach but it's not filthy or anything. You have to lug all your stuff maybe a 1/4 mile to get over there. I'd rather lay by the little seaweed beach because the bathroom and drinks are right there but if you want to swim in the ocean a lot, I think the resorts facing the other way have way less seaweed washing up from what other people told us.

There’s already a stadium next door basically to where it will be built. I’ve never noticed a ton of seniors walking around there anyway.

And yes part of the great thing about the Rays is you can always get tickets for $40ish.

Not sure why anyone needs “luck”. The bars all crush before, during and after games already.

And actually the Rays are paying 100 million more than the county if we’re being picky.

Area looks a lot different now. We stayed at Secrets Cap Cana last year. If at Sanctuary and you are looking out towards the ocean, to the left there used to be maybe only one other hotel so beach was not kept up a lot. But now, there is Margaritaville next door, Hyatt, Secrets, and maybe others down the beach, so all the hotels keep that part of the beach nice.

Watching some highlights of last year's team and we had some legit playmakers on defense (Wright, K Smith, Jones/Square, etc) really excited to see who starts to fill those roles out.

Thought it would be JJ, but that's fine it looks like the studs are waiting in the wings. Hairston looks awesome, Wallace is a given, and Raynor looks like he's ready to take Jackson's spot at LB.

That will be what dictates this year. The offense will be up and down maddening per usual, but if some of these kids can come through we got something here.

At the Reds game a couple weeks ago. Some dude in his 30s in out there sitting by himself, a tallboy in the coaster, bag of peanuts and a couple other ballpark snacks. My wife remarks - “Look at that guy with all that stuff by himself. What’s he doing?”

I simply answered, “Living the dream.”

Had a buddy go there and ended up doing blow all week with a soccer mom and banging her while her son was there too. He was probably 23 or so at the time. His parents went there too.

Not sure why parents take their kids to a sex resort but I can’t judge anyone on raising kids since I don’t have any I’ve been told.

It’s apparently walkable from the sandals that I have a paid for vacation on deck with.

- If you’d ask me about it, I’d probably say the “changing the arrangement of a pop song to make it slow and gloomily enchanting” is a complete cliche that should have ended 20 years ago.

But I’ll be damned if I usually don’t enjoy them.

- Posted a picture of BBdK and I from 12 years ago (taken by Sloot shockingly) on social media. Man, amazing how clear that memory is in my head and how much has changed sense then. And how much has stayed the same- namely GYERO.

I wasn't able to attend my son's game this week so I asked my wife about it. She said good and he "played at that position between first and second". I said, "do you mean second base?". She said, "no, that's between the middle base and the one on the left". Keep in mind my wife has been watching our two girls play short stop on their spring and fall softball teams for the last four years.

I bet that dude sitting by himself didn't have to deal with that sort of ****.

A nice "regional" European trip would be the "triangle" of Munich/Prague/Vienna
Three of the great cities of Europe, and they're all pretty much equidistant from each other (a short days drive)
Plenty to see both IN those cities and the surrounding areas of each city.

My mom still says ridiculous stuff like this after being married to my dad for 45+ years. My wife makes her look like the Schwab.

Lol… my wife’s retort was “hey, I was a dancer growing up. I bet you don’t know what a pirouette is”. As I am a cultured man I accurately described it. But thank God she didn’t ask me about any other ballet move.

Reminds me- I visited PTI once when he lived in Knoxville. He gave me the remote for some reason- I accidentally hit the DVR button where the dude - no lie- had like 25 episodes of Stump the Schwab on his DVR.

Along with the way he stacked his vast library of books vertically, his early 00s Junkyard Willy obsession and when he sweetly and randomly made all his friends Pat Greene mixed tapes, that is why he’s my quirkiest buddy.

I went to Vienna last fall. It was dope. I would move there.

Joking about anyone taking me along on a European vacation of course.
The rest is accurate though, which might come as a surprise to some.
