-Central Florida is as red as it gets. Confederate flags still abound without a care.

-What is it with female vball players all being so 🔥. Eating at Carson’s with Mom for lunch and tall, hot blonde walks by in LSU gear and mom says oh must be bball player, nope that’s def vball way too hot mom.

Sure enough we play LSU tonight in vball.

Some bball gals are hot but vball is like 85% are smoke.

-Packing stuff in boxes and it finally feels like I’m moving, I was beginning to lose faith it would ever happen but looks like next Sunday the dog and I are rolling out. 😎

About to separate the men from the boys. Abbott on the hill tonight for the Reds. 8 games to go.

4-4 almost for sure out
5-3 about a 50/50 chance
6-2 probably in

Game starts at 12:40am local time and I’m so excited I’m about to s*** myself. Sending the lassie to bed and I’ll be up REAL late sipping German Pilsners, thanking hay zeus and Al Gore for the internet, and watching the game online in my homeland.

Please dear god Reds. LFG!!!

The people that come to the shows are who they are. They are proud of themselves and their towns. How anyone else chooses to judge them is their choice. I personally like those people and want to give them a product that makes them happy. When we come to town, it’s usually more exciting than what was going to happen otherwise so they enjoy it

I had more fun tonight in our building with the crowd and wrestlers that were there than I would have at Norton Commons or the Lex Country Club. Others would surely disagree. But that is what makes the world go round

I do care what others think of Kentucky but if they are unable to see the Beauty of this place bc of their feelings based on poverty levels or appearance of those they see, then that’s a them problem. I still will do whatever I can to make entertainment an fun for the folks

Plus having a critically-acclaimed documentary that was my idea come to fruition is probably one of the proudest achievements of my life. And the excitement/pride it has given the wrestlers has been amazing.

Now we just have to try and make some money out of it to get our head above water
Grand Slam Collectibles wants our logo on the mat.

Seems like when when the Celtics turned on the heat in the finals against the Lakers scenario but my couch made us practice in it and then made other teams play in it too for bball and we usually one those games, I doubt Vandy will.

Drove through Stanford, Milford and Bridgeport and with how rural the towns were, you would have figured you were going through Simpsonville, Lawrenburg or Nelson Co.

All that to say is that outside of Boston, NYC, Philly, the rest of New England is as blah as anywhere else.
Know CT as well as anyone on this thread. Money is in Fairfield County tapering down to Housatonic river.
New Haven and Hartford areas are realily unlike Fairfield County. West of the Merritt PKWY is either the Valley, home of dead industries, very depressed area.

Some great country areas west of there, home to celebrity second homes. Pretty rural, home to a lot of boarding schools. Some ski areas but nothing I’d travel for.

Anything on Long Island Sound up to where it meets the Atlantic near Rhode Island is worth checking out.

Fairfield is only an hour to NYC and 3 to Boston or 4 for VT skiing.

Never had a reason to visit Hartford or NH except for pizza and concerts.

-Gal pal in SP is from NH but loathes going back. Says there’s nothing there basically for people like her and I. I do hope to visit as I’ve never been to the NE.

-Taking the consulting job, briefly as in one day unless it’s zoom, with Lindsey Wilson football team on Thursday I drive down. Talking to two players with weight issues and I bet I know the issue but hopefully they’ll be honest with me as an outside source.

The other fellas on the team will definitely tell them to listen and I can’t wait to walk in the locker room as the boys will likely throw water at me and make white boy, old man jokes, it’ll be a blast.

Good for the rezzy obviously too, but more so doing it to see my dudes.

As athletes will tell you, there’s NOTHING (i mean, war yeah, definitely more so) in life that replicates going through pure, absolute, hatred of coaches and camp (physical conditioning to knock out the pretenders) that makes you close and love the dudes that went through what you did and made it.

It’s special, like sports.

- Had a pledge brother from rural New Hampshire. Enfield. He traced his roots to the vikings, and it showed. A giant of a handsome man and an absolute dirtbag heathen. The two of us are still banned (lifetime ban) from some liberal arts school in Vermont, and I have a scar on my wrist to prove it.

- Today I had a bum on the street ask me for some money. I looked him in the eye and said, no, I’m homeless. As I was wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. Distasteful comment? Sure, not my usual style. But I’m getting really tired of these derelict undesirables accosting me as I’m simply trying to quietly go about my business.

- To that point, I will say this: Covington is a dirty *** city. Newport is 1,000 times nicer. The worst parts of Cincy are better as well. Scuzington. #LuVtheCov lol

- There’s probably a 50-50 chance we lose tomorrow. I personally don’t think we will, but it’s going to be a disgusting game. Prepare yourself accordingly. The last time we played those ******** I was sitting in the sleet/freezing rain watching Ray Davis blow gatortails off our finest women's shaved pubic regions.

- Speaking of pubic regions, I would happily destroy Maggie Davis.

- I have no position on the wrestling show, or wrestling in general. But if MattJokesKSR walks into center ring wearing assless chaps and sporting a giant erection, I will tune in. No gay, but I always appreciate a good erection.

- Lord it’s a mighty hard living, but a damned good feeling to run these roads.

As far as insect bites go….anything worse than a horsefly bite? (Excluding black widows and brown recluse, talking about common flying insects). Got one while walking in the woods the other day, ********** hurts and itches so bad.

And they are relentless. You can swat them, whatever. They keep coming back until you kill them or they kill you. Respect.

Speaking of bad spider bites, I got one horrible on my ankle as a law student fishing at East Fork. Son of a ***** swelled up, ached, itched. It was nastier than Strokin’s ******.

Just hope we keep power to watch the game. Getting the heavy bands of rain & wind from Ophelia, started getting heavy about 2AM. Looks like it’s speeding up a tad and the winds will start subsiding around 7 tonight. Pretty steady at 25-30 with 45 gusts right now.

Lazy inside day hopefully watching some CFB.

Clemson going to upset FSU today. I can’t figure it out but that number Vegas gave us says so.

I’m unnecessarily nervous for today. I’d think we’d want to come out and curbstomp these guys but with UF next week this is the traditional trap.

I didn’t realize Ole Miss was ranked, but I should hope they upset BAMA today. Would be nice for them to be out of the title race early.

-Anyone going to Segura Friday? Just realized I bought Friday tickets and my boys all are going Saturday, smart guy over here.

Be fun either way but company is always better.

-One thing I need to work on is road rage. This dude was driving 2 mph through Zandale, slows down to a stop at an intersection with no stop sign twice and I’m all hopped up on 3 coffees and pre workout. When I finally get to go by him I lay on the horn.

He immediately whips a U turn and follows me to the gym. I get out like, damn shouldn’t have done that but he slows down by me and then drives off.

Totally my fault and I would’ve apologized but I’m like why did I even do that, I’m in no rush today.

-Back to WV today, plan on getting there before the OSU/ND game and watch it with the family. Taking pops to church one more time before I leave.

The boys are just out of gas, pti. They played their asses off last night, and were all fired up. But it happens. Hell of a year regardless. Better times ahead.
Went to the game last night. Most of the game my (5 y/o) daughter has ever watched, and the only damage was buying an ice cream helmet and missing an inning. She got a ball and went nuts for “Joey” every time. Then she got to jam to Taylor Swift in the post game fireworks.

I mean, it sucks to lose, but that’s the beauty of baseball I guess. It’s always there. There’s another one today, and it’s nice to look forward to the future.
