I was mixing chocolate milk and procuring Jammie Sammies when my boy said "that guy you and mommy knows was just on tv". I had to back it up to find out what he was talking about.
Of all the things your kid could see one of your friends on the news for, this has to be top 3. Most of the reasons to be on the news are very, very bad.

The top for Bernie, obviously, would be with the headline of Louisville Man Runs Over Obnoxious Blowhard Norton Commons Neighbor With A Golf Cart -- Who Absolutely Had It Coming.

- I guess you can officially not pay attention to UK until they play a real team. Had zero thought we were going to beat up Florida on both sides of the ball.
- Man I love what Stoops is doing.
- RIP Tim Wakefield. As a lifelong Red Sox fan, he was the quintessential player and gentleman. A professional who could get people out throwing a 70 mph ball.
- Went ofer on my opening fanduel weekend. Dang those parlays are hard to hit.
- Bengals are in big trouble. Go get a QB and let Burrow rest for a few weeks. He looks trigger shy to me.
- What an absolute thrashing at the Ryder Cup. Cup was lost Friday. Got to come into that competition ready to go every single time. The Europeans sure as hell are.
- And still don't have a clue how the number one player in the entire world was beaten by the 11th green.
- Got a buddy who tipped 7.5% on a $250 meal. Wow. He absolutely sees nothing wrong with that.
- Man does that Sphere in Vegas look amazing. Gonna have to get out there soon and see that.

Can’t stop smiling about Saturday.

To be able to watch the game for about 45 minutes with it never being in doubt was surreal.

Can’t even imagine if we pull it off in Athens. The good news it’s house $. The Missouri game looms large. The difference in warm bowl games and cold ones are games like that. After the UGA car crash for 60 minutes it will be tough on us.

Hopefully everyone took advantage of those silly +100 (UK to score 1 point, Bengals to score 1 point). $50 max to pay $100, free money.

Took them on both DK/Fanduel, each game = free $200. Add in all the free bonus bets, of which I hit several silly parlays I wouldn't play otherwise, turned $50 deposit on both accounts into $1042 for the weekend. 🍻

-Cats ranked more in the last 5 seasons, than the previous 50 combined.

I didn’t realize you could immediately cash out those bets when the offered the first one and then I was out of state once I realized you could.

Yep, it was a unique opportunity. Most of those crazy bonuses, at least in the past on all the offshore books, have pretty extreme rollover requirements (aka, you have to bet a ridiculous amount of real $/games for that bonus money to be actually yours & liquid).

Good ****. 👍

-What a fun game. Damn. Didn't really know what to expect going in but it certainly wasn't pure domination. They had all but given up until 2 very fluke plays gave them a little life. Just felt like the old basketball days when you KNEW the game was over after the initial run. High 5s all around. Our D is just NASTY.

-Crowd was LIT. Has to be our best NOON O'clock crowd ever. Apparently Lex was a traffic nightmare all morning.

-Winning at UGa is always gonna be damn near impossible. Especially a night game. Just can't let 1 become 2, like we've done so many times in the past. Need that Mizzou game to be at night. Let the Nation will the team to a W. Not to mention my cousin scheduled a Fall 4pm wedding for that day, so my only shot is at 7p or later kickoff. Flipping UL fans, guess they're not used to playing on Saturday.

-Wob's monkey bread at the tailgate. Sheesh.

-Nice warm week right into a low of 39 Sunday night. Dust off the pullovers and hoodies.

-Not only were the Euros better than the 'Muricans but that is easily the most likeable group they've ever had. Those Euros are gonna have something coming at Bethpage, tho.

-NOLA Last week for a "work" trip. Shew. I love that place but even at 20-30% of actually hitting it... I still can't wait to leave. Wild how bad the homeless problem was on Mon-Tuesday then basically gone by the Beyonce concert on Wednesday. The Beyonce fan pre game watching was very entertaining.

*Snack down was stupid, basically tried most everything on each menu. Family style each night. FAT!!

Nonstop amazing food. Was dying for a long sauna sesh to get rid of those toxins.

Anth was here for 3 days, and knocked out 6 legit top flight, nationally recognized restaurants in one visit.

🤣 🤣 🤣

That's seriously impressive, and a GREAT lineup. Also a very good mix of famous/legendary junts and 'rants that are more known to locals.

Curious to get your N7 Snackdown. One of the coolest places in town. Owners took a large property in the hood (but very close to the Quarter), but a very large wall around it, and turned it into like a French countryside open air restaurant with a garden onsite, and a wine list that's about 100 pages long. Extremely unique property.

1. I love Burrow, but he's not right and he needs to sit his *** down. I don't know if it's really all his calf or if he's in his head, but he's a complete liability right now. And if he won't sit, because he won't, Zac Taylor needs to grow a set and say you're worth way too much money to risk injury like this. I know Browning is *** but uh, so are the Bengals offensive sets while Burrow can't do anything but be a statue or back up in the pocket. Did AJ Mccarron marry his gf that made Musburger let all of America know he was wackin' it in the booth? Trot him out there, damn.

2. Chase (no DIAF) has every right to be frustrated as hell.

3. Higgins has checked out. Mixon is playing like a guy fighting for his money; Tee isn't (and wasn't pre-rib fracture). Trade Higgins while he has value.

4. There have been three different o-lines since Burrow came back from his knee exploding, and they've all sucked for the most part. At what point does Duke Tobin step in and say hey Pollack, you suck and you should leave?

5. I've been watching the Bengals my entire life so I understand this is simply a regression to the mean. But it still sucks.

6. The Titans fans were nothing but nice and Nissan is a cool place for a game. It's showing some age, sure, but it has cool character in the concourses that places like FedEx and Paycor don't have.

N7 is an awesome space with great ambience, but food and service were extremely disappointing when we visited NO earlier this year. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night.

Been a few years, and we didn't do any GYERO style elevated dining, but there are a million bars and restaurants all within walking distance in downtown Athens. Very cool town, as I'm sure most know. We hit up several bars and gastropubby joints and had no complaints. I remember the World Famous having good food, in particular.

When can we shake the prevalence of the "Kentucky used to suck at football" narrative? Literally every solid win for the last 6 years has been followed with that take. Let's remove the tether. We're good now and have been good. This ain't no flash in the pan. It's not surprising anymore. We have dominated Vandy, Missouri, South Carolina, Florida and Louisville for a while now. Program has been better than Tennessee's for most of the last decade. Only Georgia in the east has had a better program.

Kentucky is ranked as the number 1 developmental program in the nation, based on average recruiting ranking minus average # of NFL draftees ranking. Add to that the fact that we also had more blue chippers on the field than Florida, a better coach, better coordinators, and a raucous home crowd, and there was no doubt we'd smoke em. I expected a 31-17ish score, but didn't expect to outgain them 329-69 on the ground. Yikes.

OL was dominant. Good on Yenser. If you watch the Van Hiles videos (or break down film yourself), you know those holes have been there all season. Davis had been boom or bust, and a lot of the busts were on him not hitting his lane. I think Saturday's performance was mostly the result of the playbook clicking for him, and Florida not being ready for it. He was patient, made the right cuts, and hit his spots with lowered pads and confidence. Beautiful thing to see.

Woody needs to get his boys in front of a JUGS machine all week. It's the only missing piece to a very special team.

Billy Napier is not an SEC coach. In over his head.

I smelled B.O. probably 15 times yesterday at Nissan Stadium. Every time, I was immediately down wind of a different schlub in a Bengals jersey. Do they just bake that smell right into the merch? Clean it up, Cincinnati.

-If I have a friend too like 7.5% after taking care of the bill I’ll just throw down two $20s.

7.5% is bs. The server is probably tipping out 4% to the service bar and buss boy combined so they made all of 3% on that table. That’s touched.

-Had a buddy in town last night and we had a good time shooting the breeze drinking beers and him burning heaters on my back decks last hurrah.

-Picking up the Uhaul at 1:30. Let’s go!…I guess. Can’t wait to head south but not looking forward to loading it that’s for sure.

Not sure what I’m more surprised about, the fact Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend got arrested for still selling drugs (knowing he’s being watched), or the fact that he was that dumb enough to continue to do it.

Didn’t he get money from that whole thing?

- If there are no commitments to the bottles I’ll be happy to take them back. Seemed about 7-8 reached out and I assumed at the price some would want two.

No worries at all to take them back.

- Nice to bet again. Only broke even to be honest which is fine, but the rooting interest just changes for me. UK had me on cloud 9, but I was absolutely shocked by the titans.

As far as gambol goes I seriously hope none of you had the Chiefs -8 last night 🤮

- We are 14 pt dogs in Athens. That seems really off even with us being 4-1 against the spread. Like Vegas is begging for bets on UK.

- Never made a claim to my homeowners insurance, but when you have water damage in the basement these ******** leave you no choice with the cost involved. Damn!

- Setting up an appt to view a house. I’m excited. Per my realtor if my house sells for the price they are prepared to list at I could be completely out of debt on the deal.

That’s the goal before walking away from lumber salesman but never thought it was a real possibility.

I’ve grown extremely nervous about it all though because I’m responsible for too many to be this age and this “wild” and mess up.

- Planning a trip to Washington DC because our kids no longer get the DC field trip in 8th grade. That’s been happening since I was in 8th grade and I went.

Definitely kind of lame vs a beach or water park resort but I’m excited for it and so are most of my kids since they miss out now with school.

Adding to this I just found out about travel club which sends kids to Rome, England, Paris etc over the next few years. I am pretty dumbfounded by it but I became terribly excited to send my wife and kids across the pond on fall and/or spring break.

What is the world is going on with Jimmy Butlers hair? Is he going thru the Chris Gains phase of his life like Garth Brooks did?

I’d love to get a bottle if there is a way to get it to FL.

🙋🏻‍♂️ in the no debt club.

He did this last year to troll on media day with hair extensions/dreads. This year he is "going emo" lol. I hated Jimmy for a minute when he was in Minnesota, but damned if he isn't one of the most likable, entertaining dudes going right now.

He was playing Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance on his instagram [laughing][laughing][laughing]

I think they'll all go. Several people have told me they want one(or an extry) but it's always in the heat of a tailgate and I lose track of them.

- Planning a trip to Washington DC
A bourbon titan like yourself should check out Jack Rose. One of the most extensive bourbon collections in the country with pours available from pre-prohibition and beyond. Food is 4* as well.

- Also was slated to attend a wedding on the 14th. Coworker who moved to St. Louis. False, this team is in the midst of a special season. Called this morning and assured him there'd be a nice wedding gift in transit.

- Seeing our Dlinemen and linebackers consistently chase down Florida's skill players was one of the more impressive aspects Saturday. Even more noticeable on the replay. As someone said, it was the inverse opposite of the talent level of both programs in the 90's.

- Would like to see Cohen dial-up some easy tosses to get Leary comfortable in Athens. Like a shooter needing to see the ball swish, a few early completions would go a long way to settle him down against that defense.

- I'll snag a DH Armagnac after the Mizzu game.

- The cross-pollination of Taylor Swift and the NFL has to be one of the 7 signs of the apocalypse 💀

- [writes in Ray Davis for Governor]

In order:

Zasu - Chorizo Spiced Baby Octopus*, Fried Sea Scallops, Korean Chile Glazed Pork Cheeks, Sauteed Red Snapper, Ora King Salmon, Braised Beef Short Rib. Service was very good. Food was great, octopus was my favorite. Great little date spot.
Doris - Tomato Celebration Salad*, Carpaccio*, Baladi Eggplant, Chef's Tasting Steak flight with: Tenderloin A-5 score*, Classified Cut*, Bone in Ribeye, Bone-in New York Strip. I'm a huge honk for this place. Israeli Steakhouse that just cooks very simple, clean tasting, no frills amazing food. Steaks come out lightly seasoned with a little SnP on the side to add on your own. It just kicks ***.
Ostero Lupo - (We kinda got after that afternoon so let me try to remember it all.) Service was a little spotty but I don't poor. Again, lots of pregame champs and sazaracs. Blue Crab Salad, Wood fired oysters, Royal Red Shrimp, Campenelle, Buchatini Carbonara, Gnudi, and Ratatori.
Commander's Palace - Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Shrimp & Tasso Henican, Turtle Soup au Sherry*, Commander's Creole Gumbo, Cast Iron Seared Gulf Fish, Grilled Center Cut Creekstone Farms Filet, Creole Bread Pudding Soufflé*, Creme Brule. 3 bottles of Carneros Champagne. 1 Double Espresso... for f*cking lunch. Food was great but it's the best service I've probably experienced. Just an awesome experience.
N7 - (menu wasn't the same as website) Olives, Watermelon Salad*, hard boiled eggs, Rabbit Crepes, Grilled Bok Choy, Steak au Poivre, Japanese Fried Chicken*. Forgetting a few. The ambiance was awesome. Very cool little spot. Especially with the mild weather. Would probably suck if it was in the summer. Service was good. Food almost came too fast. Just nonstop. Kinda unfair that we went bananas for lunch at CP. The last thing any of us wanted was another big meal.
Domenica - Was in the hotel and we ate there for lunch each day. Always solid but we basically at meats/cheese or salads.
