I’m not even talking about products. I’m talking about getting hundreds of people to pay hundreds of dollars to listen to “thought-leaders” with gradiose bios discuss a bunch of different intangible stuff.
You should see what they’ll pay to listen to…when they’re high on weed.

We just had a “motivational” speaker for our org. He was good, kept my interest for almost the full hour. However…

$40k… 🤮🤮

As VP of finance, it took everything in me to not call out how much of a waste of $$ it was to anyone that would listen.

^ Yeah parallel things here. Again, gotta appreciate the balls on the folks who make hay in this arena, but still 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m not pissed at him making $40k. I’m pissed at us for paying $40k when we are .05% away from making plan and getting a full bonus payout.

So, just curious, why didn’t you?

As a former employee, I always thought it was BS that the funding of the employee bonus pool was tied to the business making plan. Especially when I had no say in what the plan was.

I’d be curious how other companies do it bc this is how it’s always been done for companies I’ve worked for. Get more if company makes more. Get less if company falls a little short.

For the record, I don’t want Kenny Payne anywhere near our program. That guy is a tremendous failure of epic proportions. You took the job at UL. Good for you but stay the f**k out of Lexington when you crash and burn. If we can’t find an assistant better than him Cal has more problems than we realize.

Cal calls it “loyalty”. I call it stupidity. This isn’t the Sopranos.

I don’t see how it’s or he is so bad there at UL. Something doesn’t add up at all. I mean he has a group of coaches that are known names and some good people in recruiting circles. Kenny himself was good here dealing with boosters, kids and media.

Seems the Head man that can handle those 3 facets would be good to go.

That said, some people are better at being a #2 or some sort of specialized assistant. Is there a different reason to not want the guy back as an assistant other than he left to go be a HC at his Alma mater that is a top 10 job in the country?

You took your life in your hands going to Camelot West.

At least Deion might be honest with Ol' Destin and his obnoxious parents. I could see him telling the media something along the lines of "I had to take Destin aside and tell him to spit his mom's tit out of his mouth. The kid has NFL potential but it sure ain't at QB. We've moved him to tight end where he belongs and I fully expect him to be All Pac-12 once he gets the hang of the position."

Question for the law balls: My mom recently had a stroke leaving her currently with no use of her right hand. She wants me to do some banking business for her that will require power of attorney. It is my understanding that having a poa notarized is not necessarily required but I figure in our case it needs to be since she can only make a mark with her left hand. She is a KY resident but in a VA facility. Are poa’s state specific? Can I download a poa form and have a VA notary notarize it and be good to go or do I need to have a KY notary go to the hospital?

WynnDuffy - Not sure what topical thc ointments there are now, but I thought it would be a good idea to mix high thc tincture into DMSO (which, as far as I know, is the best way to trans-dermally deliver a substance into the blood stream quickly and effectively)

(trouble makers out in Cali, in the 70's used to mix LSD into it, and coat the handles of cop cars. LOL

That’s a good thought, Clown. I used to combine DMSO and MDMA in the early 2000’s, except I would slather it on my cocknballs before going out.

The real “in” for this current scheme is that per the terms of the 2018 Farm Bill, we can label the products as CBD, despite them having significant psychoactive properties. Just have to come in at under .3% THC by dry weight, which is easy peazy considering the resources currently available. I also have a wholesale connection to D9 juice manufactured in Henry County. It’s even organic/farm to table/non-gmo/jerk me off. The white moms will love it.
