* I have a lass that is obsessed with the holiday season more than I am with Keeneland by far. I thought the putting up would be the worst part, but taking it down was just as bad. I already have anxiety come late Fall 2024.

Get me to opening day, Keeneland.

* When it comes to board games, there was not much of a better high or low (number 28 up to 84, or 87 down to 24) than with Chutes and Ladders. That sneaky 80 to 100, though.

* FSU fans have quickly become the most obnoxious and trolling base maybe of all-time. The committee got it perfect and if anyone deserved to be in, it was obviously Georgia.

* Mount Rushmore of pro wrestlers (1983-2000)
-Hulk Hogan
-Ric Flair
-Stone Cold Steve Austin
-The Undertaker

* Give me a lead pencil all/air, but there was something very nostalgic about helping the teacher lass manually sharpen pencils with the eraser heads put atop.

* Speaking of school, I love seeing my former classmates that were dirt poor now having successful careers and planting the seeds for their future kids.

* Alex Orji has a name that could be epic after this championship and beyond. But, honestly, go Huskies.

* God, it's great to have the BBALL CAYUTS back and kicking ***.

I go down wrestling doc rabbit holes way too often, and the Ultimate Warrior has to be the most hated star ever. His technique was historically bad, which is probably why his entire shtick was just pure roid rage. There’s a thousand videos on YouTube of other wrestlers talking s*** about him both in and out of the ring.
12 year old Wayne Dougan:
- did not appreciate proper (fake) wrestling technique
- loved wrestlers roiding out
- tied strings around arms to make biceps pop
- was a big fan of UW

Ever watch his Dingo Warrior matches?

He was awful before his WWF run.

I miss the good ole days of wrestling. When I was a kid we'd all load into the minivan on a random Friday to go down to check out Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Those were and still are some of my absolute favorite memories. My favorite wrestler was Jerry "Smooth Palms" Jenkins. He had a unique finishing move where he'd get his opponent locked down on the ground, and then with his spare hand he'd start giving the guy a hand job until his opponent passed out. Sometimes it would go on for 20 or 30 minutes, even well after the bell rang, and they'd have to call in extra refs to storm the ring to peel him away. That was real wrasslin back in those days.

Reed Sheppard was in E'town last weekend appearing at the Planet Fitness to sign autographs. The local media said well over a 1,000 people showed up and some waiting over 2+ hours to see him for what was supposed to be a 90-minute thing. There have been tours of graduating players on championship teams come thru the mall here that didn't attract half as many people. The kid is a phenomenon.

Never could get the wreslin’ thing. Buncha guys in tights acting like they were throwing each other around and then hugging on top of each other. If you’re going to fight then throw actual punches.

Same thing with country music. Sounds like someone gave a hairlip a microphone with some good ‘ol boys playing banjos and guitars.
To each their own, I guess.

Ladies little one told me she needs a makeup table with good lights on the mirror. Didn’t ask, just told me like I was taking her order. She’s 6!
I asked her why she needed it and she said her friend at school got one and she needs it to get ready in the morning. This is the same 1st grader that when told for the 3rd time to get ready for school tells me “she doesn’t have time for that!”

Saturday can’t get here fast enough.

-Always liked Junkyard Dog, Virgil didn’t get enough respect either.

-Finished The River We Remember and started in Lost City Of Z at the coffee shop this morning.

Sorry for all the book talk, it’s all I have right now…

-Clothes are all set out and ready to be packed. Will be ready to roll out around 5-6a tomorrow. Touch this drive.

-I’ve tried about every type of coffee lately which previously I almost only drank black(still my preference) but been checking out the less caffeinated ones.

1. Cafe Lait
2. Cortado
3. Latte
4. Americano

Pre-💙 💣
1. Cold Brew
2. Black
3. Red Eye
4. Con Leche

-Canceled my flight to Chicago which is a bummer, I just don’t think I’d be much fun right now for my gal pal, plus flying is still iffy, yet.

-Surgeon General in Florida has recommended to stop giving vaccines which is interesting.

-Wonder what weed doctors do once recreational is passed? Go back to being real doctors? Move to another state where it’s just medicinal and go through that whole process?

I couldn’t imagine having to go back to regular practice. Being a weed doctor is about the least stressful way to be a doctor.

No one is going to die because of you, odds of malpractice suit are very low, normal office hours, or whatever hours you want, little overhead, can close up shop for vacation at any time and not have to take an on-call phone, etc etc.

Seems super ideal but recreational will likely be on the ballot this year here.

I’ve never had a cup of coffee. I’ve also never changed a diaper. Now, off to breakfast where I will down a root beer with my pancakes.

Am I crazy or is this ‘hole’ only like 87 yards? While still not the easiest thing to do, it ain’t no 150+ yard par 3.
