Makes total sense. Cal did not want to roll up his sleeves and work hard to get the program back on track. He did not want to risk failing and his image being further ruined. No, he’d rather tuck tail and run. He’d rather go to a football school where he has a fresh batch of fans who aren’t tired of his ****. This really has worked out in Mitch's favor, whether it's what he intended or not. I was convinced we were but it going to have to pay him something to leave. It may have had nothing at all to to with their meeting but it looks like he played it perfectly to get him out.
