Feel bad for Ulis in a Randall Cobb-type way.
He's this team's Nerlens Noel. Deserves better than to have been surrounded by a bunch of pussies and a selfish chucker.

Remember when Lee had been in the gym all summer, completely transformed his game and looked like a brand new player? That was exciting to read about.

I love how Poythress got his 5th foul. Marcus Lee had a sure rebound knocked out of his dickfingered hands and in the fight for the ball FOUL on ALEX. Ulis needs to c*nt punch Lee.

What a ****** 24 hours of basketball. Oh well. Allows me to totally avoid Sportscenter, PTI, the paper, the local news....

My phone is racist. Sent a text to the wifey about Raymond James, and it autocorrected to R'aymond James

Starting to feel a little bit like 2011. #wishfulthinking Awful loss, kills our seeding, but I'm not sure how much seeding matters this year for anybody.

Was pleased with Skal's performance. Baby steps.

This one is on Cal, all the way. His refusal to ever switch defenses and make the other team have to change what they are doing is mind boggling. He will continue doing the same **** the rest of the year, too. No changes, no adjustments. Same old ****.

And Jamal Murray gets my vote for worst defender of the past 10 years. That guy is freaking terrible on defense and a one-on-one gun.
Would it kill Cal to run some picks to get Willis a few open looks? I mean really. We get burnt on out of bounds every single game for a layup, sometimes more than once. Zone please. But no lets just scream like a lunatic.

Knew what was coming as I already watched the Auburn game. Barely watched the second half as in I'd check in every once in awhile see Tennessee up two, get pissed and then doing some dishes/laundry. Finally, sit down to watch it and see Poythress dribble it off his knee, Lee hack the F out of someone to foul out and then Briscoe fell down dribbling leading to a 3 on the other end. Turned it off then and there.

Watching the MKG high school doc on HBO OD now just to help me remember the good times, because I am fuming right now.

Welp in retrospect, I'm glad I spent the last 5 hours at the dealership while the wife got a car. Wish DVR had an auto-delete for losses.

Our bigs are ****** and it completely changes how this team has to play... Too much pressure on Ulis and Murray to perform every night... We are way too thin. Bench had 4 points.. FOUR

Either Skal or Lee should be starting and getting a ton of minutes but we can't because they are awful.

I think it's fair to wonder if Humphries had been given the same PT as Skal, if he wouldn't be further along.

I'm a big defender of Cal's coaching chops, as I say it's redneck KSR caller closet UL fan touchboi ******** to suggest that Cal can't coach. He can, and with the best of them, of all time.

But he's not immune to criticism. If I have to nitpick the guy I would say that he's proven over his coaching life to be willing to adjust and "tweak" on the fly...on offense, that is. On D, we get man-to-man and a token press, that's it, that's the list. Now you could argue that with breaking in a new team every year keeping it simple, being good at one style of D is the way to go...but it's hard to watch teams just eat is up with straight line drives and pick and pop threes and we don't switch them up even for a few possessions, not even to confuse them.

In 2011 I trust.

I think Cal is a great coach, never said he wasnt. But he wont change his defense no matter what his personnel is. His philosophy has always been to make your man drive to the basket and not give up the 3. That works great when you have Davis, KAT, WCS, etc., back there. Doesnt work with Poythress Willis and Marcus Lee.

And he will continue doing it the rest of the year, hoping for some miracle to occur. Its not going to with this front court.

Touchboy Alex dribbling off his knee set in motion the chain of events that finished us. Yeah he got bumped and it was probably a foul but Jesus man you are a gd senior.

John's philosophy is "if you suck I can't hide you". Just so happens we have some ****** players. Just get em drafted. GTFO.

I hate Cal won't adjust, but I kind of respect that he doesn't. Really, this team ain't worth it. They aren't good enough to play for Cal.

It just sucks that this is Tyler's one year, and we have a real team coming next year. That's a ****** situation.

Lee since the LSU game per game averages:
15 minutes down from 24
4.6 rebounds down from 7.2
3.8 fouls up from 2.6

Its like the LSU game broke him completely. He is pretty much useless out there.

The worst part for me about that game was it happens right when we're thinking we are close to turning the corner on this season. Then blow a 21 point lead = total gut punch.

Speaking of gut punches...the Louisville squad should be  that I moved out of Lexington. #realtalk

Waking up and realizing that team blew a 34-13 lead to Tennessee. o_O

I mean we were touching balling and somebody turned the lights off. It's really incredible to think we were one possession away from beating Rock Chalk on the road and then proceed to get pummeled by Tennessee for 25 minutes.

Done trying to figure out this team. Glad I already have $500 invested in the SEC tournament and decided against Vegas for the first time. Awesome!![banana]

WTF does that mean? Can't the kid can come back? I mean, if he's not a lottery pick, why the hell wouldn't he, because he "can't improve his stock?"

That's the dumbest **** on earth to me. Free education, free world class coaching, room & board, and all of the surrounding talent/national exposure he could ask for.

Coming back would be a no brainer if I were him. I just don't understand why kids like Ulis are in a rush to get to floundering around professional basketball. Christ.

May give him a pass if I hadn't seen it happen 200x. Stay away from the baseline, Alex. And stop getting called for a travel every other game.

Yeah, the list of busts Cal has had here is Harrow, Skal, and maybe Goodwin and Poythress. In 6 years. But next year's class that's being hailed as an all-time great class is probably full of busts.

Lee has gone from second in command leader, energy guy to bad body language, let's just see how many fouls I can pick up before I sit again guy.

It really is a little bizarre.

The Lee stuff would make you think he is considering a 5th year transfer deal and his head is just not in it.

I have no clue how next year will work with Ulis. He'll play obviously, but isn't Fox like, all world? And monk? What about briscoe? What about Hawkins? What about me? What about raven

If Ulis comes back, he's the starting PG. That's the only certainty. I don't give a **** if John Wall was coming in next year, he wouldn't auto-start over Ulis.

Before Lee started slumping he was on pace to be able to go pro. He was the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team depending on your opinion of Canadian Goodwin. Then Ben Simmons took his life, now he's gonna grad transfer and go get his master's in early childhood ed. or some such ****, and he's too excited about it to play ball. What the hell is wrong with these idiots?

Unfortunately, i think Ulis' stock will continue to rise and he will go pro. Pretty sure Lee,Skal, Murray and Ulis are the 4 that leave. I think Willis will now probably stay his final year, and we will need him.

Exactly. Oh and sororities and those kinds of things.

In all cirrusness smart kids like HOFTU should talk to other non-lotteries about how much they'd like another year here. Hell even Cousins wanted another year. Ulis (as mentioned) isn't going to sit next year if he stays, we play three guards an murk.

Some people should just enjoy.

Shew -- it sure was nice to see a free-flowing offense, predicated on smaller, perimeter players spreading out the defense taking them off the dribble last night. UT was the best version of themselves, attacking the basket on switches and shooting over the top when the D went underneath. Good for those gaffots. The Kates of course played right into their hands by taking the bait and overplaying them, closing out on *everyone* like they were GSW or some ****.

I'm done with our bigs, especially Lee. He's worthless and does absolutely nothing of value to the team, unless you count picking up senseless **** fouls. Hell, Mulder has shown a knack for hitting the glass, why not be crazy and put him as a freaking 4 and let him help spread the floor out. You at least know he's hungry, get his nose dirty, and win a few 50/50's. I mean, what are you really losing if Lee doesn't rebound/defend worth a toot, anyway?

Briscoe's 4th was one of the worst calls of the year, TS. Willis going vertical with his guy was also another bad one - geez.

Wish our coach would stop acting like such a GD maniac *every* time someone makes a mistake. I know this team has a ton of flaws but they're looking over their shoulder after every play, save Ulis. Really bugs me. STFU for a few possessions, coach.
