Juzang gonna average 25 in the Dance. That's cool.
Don’t let the stubborn coach off that easily for “I CAN’T PLAY YOU” to the only guard who was playing defense worth a damn that day*
*forgive me because this may be bourbon revisionist history
It’s absurd - these dudes all of the sudden open up an entirely new skill
set after UK. And if you’ve ever watched Cronin, you know it isn’t because of him.
Juzang. 17. Has now hit as many 3's in first half as UK hit in game against Wisconsin in 2015
Cal can kiss my entire *** for letting Juzang go
It’s infuriating. I am genuinely angry watching this.
Juzang and Allen should have been teammates getting 30 minutes/game.
Juzang is playing like it's HIS team lol. Waving dudes off, driving, pulling 'bad' (but good for him) shots at will, etc.
Amazing how much different dudes (shooters) look when they don't have a psycho screaming at them, and pulling them out at random times...just see Allen, in the few games he was actually allowed to play in a feature & unworried role.

“Three pointers are ok I guess, but can I interest you in driving wildly into two dudes standing in the paint?”

Mick Cronin's offense looking like the Warriors compared to what HOFFICJVC rolls out anymore.
Hopefully Joel has his GD Commodore 64 on and is watching this.
Cal wanted Juzang to stay. Juzang chose to leave. I do think if we had the tourney, he may have stayed. The last game @ Florida was arguably his best game. He may have continued his good play on a team that was poised for a run. But Covid hit and this is the reality. Hell with it. Time to move on. I wish the kid well.
One thing we’re all good at on here is moving on.
This entire bucket of **** call has had to eat HAS to wake him up right?
This is for Cronin - a guy Cal used to cuck for ***** and giggles. Now Juzangs balling for him, and UCLA is starting to beat us for recruits.
Wake TF up.

F off. Cal misused and ignored Juzang all year. And instead of bringing out Salesman Cal to keep him, he used that **** to bring in ***** Clarke and ***** Boston.
How does that NOT piss you off? What TF will it take if this doesn’t?
Then thing is Juzang is taking shots that he would never see in the offense we run. It really is amazing to see what he is allowed to do with some freedom and not worried about being yanked out for one mistake. Of course he wasn’t a one and done, so that might explain some of it.
Yep. Only when he FINALLY got real minutes a few times late season did he start to gradually improve and show something - and it was fast.
And then, he wouldn’t play the next game or maybe a little. You know, kinda like Allen. No rhyme or reason to any of it.
You can’t expect a West Coast kid to deal with that ****, And he’s lucky AF Allen did/is.
I’m actually saving the majority of my Cal-hating Juzang-jealousy rage for the moment he declares he’s coming back for his Junior season. That will officially put me over the edge.
I think these players have realized "Our coach is a raving lunatic" is the magic words for immediate eligibility
Tell you what, I think Texas may win the whole damn thing!
Satire of course, but it's close enough to the truth to be simultaneously depressing AND infuriating...
Cals’ bizarre substitution patterns with shooters has arguably done more damage to his program over the past 5 years than any other single act. Dude coaches shooters like he’s never seen basketball be played before. It’s so strange
We’ve been over the Pitino stuff, he’s a compulsive liar that’s going to tell anyone what they want to hear. Probably what makes him such a great coach to impressionable young adults. He doesn’t love you or UK or anything but himself...and he was the peak himself at UK so he speaks fondly of his time here. He also meddled in two coaching searches (I’ll always believe he cost us Billy D). If you are good with that, fine. I’ve laid the past to rest and agnostic at this point. He had his comeuppance but he gets no standing O from me, maybe a golf clap.
Was always bullish on Juzang, and if Cal - the best recruiter maybe of all time - had wanted him to stay, he would be committing charges for the checkerboards this year.

I don’t often have animosity towards departed UK, players, but f*ck him. ***** could star in Juwanna Mann 2.

So basically, not stressed or angry?
Final Tally for the opening Round(s) of the tournament, 35 games. 1st Half Under Flat Bet:
10-4-1 today
25-8-2 (76%) overall.
You can send thanks however you feel is appropriate, tip jar is open.
Let me know next time anyone calls a pre-shot, updates, and destroys like BBdK did on the GAMBOL over a 35 MF game sample on the grandest of stages. Hope somebody tailed.

Psssh, who tf are those guys.
didn’t need him
Johnny Juzang made a phenomenal decision to leave Kentucky. And not because he couldn't hack it. He's a phenomenal modern shooting guard and we couldn't tap into it because we play like it's 1990. We have a lot riding on a battle been Cal's will to win and his ego. If his ego wins out we won't be in the tournament again next year.
I was wary of picking Texas simply because they seem to choke on the regular whether it is football or basketball, but in this instance I thought surely it would be dumb to pick against them with this team.
Lol!
