The bird beak guy has really let himself go. Last 4-5 seasons were rough on old boy.

They had a stellar attendance of 21K, 18K and 13K against a team contending for 1st place, who has a top 5 talent playing for them. Impressive. That is 41% capacity for the 3 days for those scoring at home.....hilarious.
And the age thing....well, that is why they are 23-28 since the break.

Last night I went to my first Reds game in 5 years: I was SHOCKED.
For a team that had a playoff spot (prior to last night's loss), I couldn't believe the lack of turnout.
I had tickets way up in the right field corner... and wound up sitting about 20 rows behind home plate. There was NO ONE there.
Having been to Ballpark Village in StL, and Fenway in Boston... Cincy's support is laughable... but then I've ALWAYS thought Cincy was a joke of a sports town anyway.

* 3:00 is the sweet spot for both the fans and team. And with the first-game jitters out of their system, no excuse not to come out and take it to EKU early. No issue with Leary's debut but if he struggles to find a rhythm Saturday, I'll start to be concerned.

According to the linked article the moon is moving away from earth at a rate of 3.82 cm per year. They estimate in 200 million years that a day on earth will be 25 hours because of this. So to stop this NASA is sending a crew to the moon for the first time in over 1/2 a century in an attempt to get them closer together.

I just want to know if there are 25 hours in a day do we have to work an extra hour, sleep an extra hour or have a free hour to do whatever we want? This answer will determine if I am sticking around another 200 million years for it to happen.

That's a new level of stress I didn't anticipate. Smart watch even noted my stress level was high and suggested breathing exercises. This was a Fall Ball game with no score or umpires. Lol.

5ks and 1BB. Didn't hit any batters. 1st year kid pitch is BRUTAL. Most of the best players, at that age, were playing last night and we had 2 hits(both teams) in a 5 inning game. I think only 6-7 made any contact.
