Appears they're using a syringe depository for a tip jar, so don't tell me they aren't pragmatic at The Alley.

- A Thursday night home opener on the ACC Network up against the Opening Night of the NFL season. WE'RE MILES AHEAD!

- One of the coolest tributes to Jimmy Buffett came from (I believe) SVP on Twitter, who said that Jimmy Buffett sang Jimmy Buffett music. He was his own genre. "Come Monday" for dad.

- How many baseball caps are in your current rotation? My number has crept up to 11.

- Biff Poggi is The Most Interesting Man in College Football. As the sport becomes more homogenized through realignment and the ruin of rivalries, etc., I hope guys like him stick around.

Jon Morosi, apparently ignorant about baseball and in need of an education...

They had a stellar attendance of 21K, 18K and 13K against a team contending for 1st place, who has a top 5 talent playing for them. Impressive. That is 41% capacity for the 3 days for those scoring at home.....hilarious.

And the age thing....well, that is why they are 23-28 since the break.

If you are going to quote someone, then do your research first.

Last night I went to my first Reds game in 5 years: I was SHOCKED.

For a team that had a playoff spot (prior to last night's loss), I couldn't believe the lack of turnout.

I had tickets way up in the right field corner... and wound up sitting about 20 rows behind home plate. There was NO ONE there.

Having been to Ballpark Village in StL, and Fenway in Boston... Cincy's support is laughable... but then I've ALWAYS thought Cincy was a joke of a sports town anyway.

* 3:00 is the sweet spot for both the fans and team. And with the first-game jitters out of their system, no excuse not to come out and take it to EKU early. No issue with Leary's debut but if he struggles to find a rhythm Saturday, I'll start to be concerned.

* Prime ribyeye caps and a brown water for the start of tackle football, professional style. Costco has one of the best deals going with a 4 pack of those beauties for what you'd pay for 2 elsewhere. Throw a dash of Truff hot sass on there to kick up the flavor #profit

* Tiffany Gomes has gotten into the self-help game and that's not code for anything. Think @RibsAndWhiteBread needs to look into this new venture of hers and provide a full book report to the class.

* 'Where are They Now' @Beavis606 and Bernie, who appears to have deleted his account? Believe Beavis created a banner last year... or was the last one in '21? Anyways, they got more and more creative with each passing year and an anticipated highlight to the start of the season.

Poor ol’ Beavis is alive and well. If your tailgate offers Jell-O shots, you may entice him to return.

According to the linked article the moon is moving away from earth at a rate of 3.82 cm per year. They estimate in 200 million years that a day on earth will be 25 hours because of this. So to stop this NASA is sending a crew to the moon for the first time in over 1/2 a century in an attempt to get them closer together.

Story here

-JT basically retiring his old man and getting a new coach is cold blooded. Don't blame him at all but tough call.

-Any 3-5p game time is most excellent. Enough pre and post game time.

-According to Krazy, I will have the Lex contingent Down Home allotment. If you have an order, you can pick up from the tailgate Saturday. Venmo me.

Looking forward to sampling next to some new 'gnacs I just received.

-G pitched for the first time last night. It was a bit unexpected, well I knew he'd pitch this season at some point, but wasn't expecting him to be Opening Day starter. That's a new level of stress I didn't anticipate. Smart watch even noted my stress level was high and suggested breathing exercises. This was a Fall Ball game with no score or umpires. Lol.

-Appreciate the Bike to Beat Cancer donations. 15th year. Pretty wild.

That's not the infamous picture. The one you're talking about came from the Mike Brent Scramble. Same place I started to hate Shep.
Shocked that Ol' Propaganda Drummond is out here spinning a different narrative with misleading photos and this "He hits it better than me" schtick.

Is there *any* honest media out there anymore?
