- So it’s not just about WI-FI in the stadium, Rich can’t text or receive phone calls either? I don’t remember that ever being an issue before but just like a banker he can complain in detail, like no other!

- Good news, dK has the Armanac’s for everyone this weekend. Muchos Gracias amigo for getting them down there.

Several have reached out and I couldn’t keep up but 80, CSC81, Geese, Huber and a few others can have them this weekend. As I told Anth $45 a bottle(vs $80 retail) he has agreed to collect and only have 1 transaction to settle up.

Thanks buddy.

- Wrestling is fantastic. Been watching off and on since Channel 2(Memphis wrestling) and Jerry Lawler were introduced to me at the age of 5.

- Shew wee! The new Reggie Wright bomb1st interview has me assuming he’ll be shot soon.

Travel randos:

-canceled the SD pheasant trip...vibes were off, and there were folks to step in my spot(s). alabama at Commonwealth is a nice consolation prize.

^Likely replaced by a fishing trip to S Fla/Keys in October. I guess it's a fishing year. Still looking at Ducks in Arkansas for January.

-Tuscon in March for a conference...stay a few days after in Jerome/Sedona or some such. Recs appreciated.

I’ve posted here for years, and I still have no clue how to post pictures to prove this, and I am always somewhat leery in person meeting some of you as I’m just a dumbasses dumbass on here.

That said, this dumbass completely on my own, just made it through a federal approval for my DSP license.

I own a Distillery!! MF’n right!!!!

Don't tell richie but I have pretty solid wifi while in the stadium. We gave you plebs beer, what else do you want?

Trust me, doggy. I’m aware. Good ole Brady has been kind enough to have me up there a few times. Full bar, your own tv, Wi-Fi, MilqueToast’s lackeys fanning you while you enjoy an agreeable meal. What a sweet setup.

I guess myself and the rest of the Big Blue Unwashed don’t quite deserve cell phone service. That’s ok. As long as the domestos are cold. Small victories and what not.

Chappelle last night. Special guest Ashy Larry opened. Both absolutely slayed. Glad I check Dave off the list. He's just a genius.
MrsJDrum did not want to go (mainly due to it being a school night) but I was telling myself I I’d just pick up a cheap ticket last-minute that someone needed to unload and go solo. Totally forgot it was last night. D’oh. 🫤

In Sedona:

-Eat at Elote Cafe
-Hike Cathedral Rock
-Take the Pink Jeep Tour
-Go on a javelina hunt
-Beware of everyone in the roundabouts, its a tourist town and not a soul in their rental car has a clue what to do in one.

HollyHood Haley J is hot AF.

Just saying out loud what everyone else is thinking.
Watched all 7 episodes. It was interesting to see what makes Matt tick. He seems to grow throughout the summer.

I can’t think of the last time I sat down and watched 6 hours of anything. Let alone about a regional wrestling organization.

You become emotionally invested in several of the people. A decent salesman could parlay that doc into some good sponsorship deals.

I think the obvious outcome is that people like to hate the folks who have to actually make tough decisions- especially financial ones. Par for the course to hear people who have never had an actual tax paying job in their lives complain about someone who is trying to give them a living.

- Only 2 episodes in (no spoilers please!) but agree on Wrestlers. Really good stuff. Al Snow is a pretty solid star - comes off as a good dude. And while I don’t agree with PTI on her attractiveness, Hollywood Haley is probably the most compelling wrestler thus far. Good job, Matt. Looking forward to the rest.

Brings me back to being a kid when I loved wrestling- would have dad rent Wrestlemania II and III from the local store. Dad took me to Riverfront Coliseum to see Hillbilly Jim and Big John Stud.

- Solo dadding for a couple days this week as the wife is away for work. Faring pretty well. *knock on wood * Three-year-olds are a lot of fun but a lot of battles, too.

- Installing a fence in our backyard tomorrow - I look at as a gift to our golden retriever. He’s pretty trustworthy as is so we’ll leave him outside fenceless occasionally but this will allow old boy to chew sticks, belly on the grass to his heart’s content.

- That guy who invented the buttonfly jeans must have really thought he was revolutionizing the pants industry. Probably told everyone his awesome idea and everyone nodded like “yeah man this is a helluva idea - zippers suuuuuck.” He even gets the denim conglomerates to buy in. Dude is thoroughly convinced he had changed the world.

Yet here we are 30-35 years later and he didn’t change ****. We’re all still zipping. We don’t have an explanation for it- is what it is.

- Worst pain- hit to the balls, mid-sleep charlie horse or banging the side of your knee with someone?

- The wifi situation is why I don’t even come to games anymore. What if I miss a call from a client?

I like to accuse those folks who have to make hard decisions and drive success of creating a “toxic” work atmosphere and get them fired. I generally just use buzzwords and vaguery. Works well. Kinda my thing.

I love Wrestlers. Kudos to Matt.

My favorite part (so far) is Matt inadvertently getting a “Now, watch this drive.” moment a la George W. Bush.

The director juxtaposed an employee having a tough personal moment on the phone in the foreground while Matt lets the big dog eat in the background. Pure art.

Second favorite editing moment is after they show the Christian TV production facility that puts out OVW, the cut back to Al Snow saying GD-it.

I think Matt comes off as the sane man in the insane world.

- Glad the brewers lost too, but the Cubs dropped 2/3 to the damn Rockies so being 4 back just seems too far even with the final series against them.

- Cornette has spoke on the OVW series on his podcast. As much as he loves wrestling I don’t see how they can’t can’t him to at least consult because he has a genius mind for the industry.

In case @MattJonesKSR wants to see it
