Thats a garbage TD. I mean whatever but we need to play a good game to beat Vandy.

I did not think this was a one dimensional offense but it is lets see how stoops evolves.

-Who cares? That’s the Leary I want to see with some moxie as they say.

Also, Davis with the ball hand switch was DOPE. So many don’t bother anymore but that’s a VET move.

-Pops clapping, awake over an hour later than usual to watch the Cats with me…NEVER does this.

I’m grateful.

Sometimes as the SEC motto says, “It just means more.”

It has had flow but with mistakes. If Dingle didn’t fumble, if Brown could’ve had enough room to catch that TD we’d be up a metric f**kton. Second half the offense hasn’t looked as good but still whatever.

As was pointed out earlier, at least we have this runway to get these mistakes out of the way.

You would be a lot more concerned if we were clearly all out trying to murder these teams and showing all our cards vs playing vanilla and still mostly dominating.

All 3 games are the teams you line up with and impose your will without doing much. If you can’t do it then there is a major problem.

We have, TBH, and still “have things to work on” for the coaches to keep the kids focused.

It’s Stoops 101 as the clown said.

::Super random side note::

I find it ironic or funny or something when they play that post Malone song “Something Real” in these commercials.

It’s a song about a guy that has everything but either uses drugs, drinks, smokes cigs or willing to take his own life just to be “at peace” or to “feel something”.

What makes it a "coal whistle"? It just sounds like a damn train whistle to me.
august-west, I get it, but this has been a broken record under Stoops. I've just decided to quit worrying about it.

But don’t you think they’re still prescribing those plays or you saying they need to run them in real games to be proficient at them?

<—has no problem with the “coal whistle”, we’re known for coal and it’s better than “waaaoh waaaaoh” from the wildcat.

I’ve worked in the coal industry for over 30 years and I’ve never heard a whistle outside of CWS…. er, sorry Kroger field.

It’s one thing to be “vanilla” and it’s another to not look sharp doing it. And we have been anything but sharp. I’m willing to overlook these first 3 games but it is hard to just turn it on when playing better competition.

I agree. I just don’t know how to give credence to the boring that sets in for the kids though.

Next week is the game for me to start any real concern. If we have sings of bad snaps, OL miscues, bad penalties etc vs Candy then I’ll concede that the staff doesn’t have us where we HAVE to be to get through October.
