Amazing Ray Davis is the difference in this game in back to back years. Glad hes in blue and white.

I’ll take a 45-28 SEC Road Opener win any day. Especially over a team that beat us at home last year. The offense needs to get it together, while having flashes of what we expect. The talent is there.
All while the D is turning into one of those quiet monsters that is Stoops/White strong suit.
Hopefully next week CWS is legendary, and we are ready against the Gators, because their D is as good, if not better than ours.

Our O-line is a pretty serious issue. I'm not sure how that gets fixed though.

Once again, we cover the spread but look worse than expected in the process.
College football should copy rule-for-rule what the NFL does regarding length of game with two exceptions:
1) No 2-minute warning
2) Do a longer halftime to make up for no 2-minute warning (to allow the band to play)

Went old school for tonight's cocktail. It was a mid-century, old and probably bitter, suburban white man's staple back in the day:
The Rusty Nail
- 1 1/2 ounces blended Scotch (I went with the GOAT of alcoholic middle managers - Dewar's White Label)
- 1 ounce of Drambuie (I made the second one more dry, 2 ounces Scotch, and about a half ounce Drambuie, and, for my taste, it was much better)
- lemon wedge (with a slight squeeze)
Rocks, in a whiskey glass
If I wasn't ALREADY an angry white suburban middle-aged+ man, this would definitely make me feel the part.
I'm going to put some Sinatra* on the record player, and go out on the front porch and yell at kids.

This Reds game unfortunately is kinda a microcosm on what overall has been a fun season.
The Reds have run out of gas, but there is no denying that it's been a fun season. That said, with the Cardinals shitting the bed, and the Reds probably out of the playoffs, baseball can go f*ck itself until next April.
I'm now reduced to "anyone but the Dodgers" mode, and that is not really all that much fun, if you ask me.

RE: Reds- this season was fun as hell especially given expectations and how it started. And there’s reason for hope in April, and to pay attention this offseason. I’ll take it.
