If you're nailing her, you've basically just guaranteed you'll be the bad guy in some ****** song that the rest of the women in your dating pool will know by heart for the rest of your life. Kind of a sucker move to date her as an NFL HOFer, imo.

Plus she's pretty plain.

One thing I noticed when I went to Taylor Swift’s concert was that the backup dancers were a homely bunch. And I’m not just talking about the portly dude in stilettos doing the chair dance. The entire crew looked like the drama class from a Portland area high school. I get that you don’t want to be shown up by your backup dancers, but don’t be that self conscious about it.

I’m pretty sure if you’re in your 30s and single you know that person has banged a lot of people. I generally don’t care unless I know a lot of the guys, I mean who hasn’t?

If Wayne keeps talking bout my gal like this though I’ll meet him and Vern in a parking lot and get it all done at once.

-queens of the stone age at louder than life was really good. Had a buddy hook me up with vip/jim beam hospitality passes...so that made the crowd tolerable. Parked at the bonz's crib and ubered over late in the day...scooted right after qotsa, not really into "mall punk" so not worried about missing green day. In bed by 11.

-also saw bbdk's boy killer mike w/ run the jewels...good stuff.

-qotsa is the best guitar based *rock* band of the last 25 years and it ain't close. Tone/playing/songwriting is all top shelf. Love tool...but I'd say they're more prog metal.

^that said there are plenty of good rock bands out there...but there ain't no MTV, and pop culture is obsessed with girlpop/hip hop and bro country (also girl pop). It's there, you just gotta look actively. Cawood's "what are you listening to" thread is a good resource.

-speaking of the good stuff: NkY folks...the brian jonestown massacre is playing at the Madison Theater in Covington tomorrow night. Haven't decided if I'm going...very tempting.

^wierd name...but a great guitar based "stoner" band that's been around for years.

I would bet that if he's laying the pipe correctly, her break up song will channel Lisa Loeb strongly.

The thing that sticks out most to me is there are some absolute loser Taylor Swift fans.

There are women out there trying to learn the sport of football simply because their favorite musical artist is dating a football player and they want to watch.

That would be like me liking Zach Bryan so I go back and listen to every episode of the BFF podcast.

- went to Paducah for a funeral yesterday. Had a relative pass away and there was a memorial BBQ for him. It was great to see a lot of my extended family.

- went 13-2 on the pick'em Saturday, that will make you feel good.

- other than being ridiculously dry, the weather lately has been incredible

- anchovy paste is a super awesome secret ingredient

- fishing and hunting season starting to ramp up, love this time of year

- gators look much improved from last year, but we still have the better team. Let's stomp their asses Saturday and slide into the top 25

- been pretty exciting to see my MLB team still in the post season race into September, it's like having two bonus months of baseball season I've not gotten in most years.

- other than alcatraz and shitting on a public sidewalk, what are some must-dos in San Francisco

Tandem bike across the Golden Gate bridge with your wife. Don't know another person who has done that. Fisherman's wharf. Right across the bridge there are some big damn trees. Ride a cable car to Chinatown and eat some real Chinese food.
