The 93 UK/IU game in Louisville was one of the best games I’ve ever seen in person. Freedom Hall split 50-50, Pitino and Knight hated each other, two heavyweight rivals throwing haymakers, Mash/Ford/Cheany/Evans each scored 29. Mash hit the go ahead shot right in front of us in the “Student Section”. Damon Bailey threw one up from behind half court that looked like it was going in. I didn’t think it could get any better but then again I was just a dumb *** college freshman.
Those were the best two teams in the country that year. And F U to anyone who voted Cheney over Mash for POY.

If you're into nature, hiking, beautiful scenery, and you're going to Europe, I'd highly recommend Krka National park in Croatia, or Plitvice Lakes (also in Croatia)

Stunning seriesed waterfalls and turquoise water.

Actually headed to Europe tonight. Will be spending 9 days in Croatia and both of those national parks are on my agenda. They've been on my radar for several years.

Kinda indifferent about renewing the UK-IU series, at least in its current format. If it was exclusively neutral, I'd definitely be all about it. Went pretty much every year from 1994-2005. The 50/50 split was awesome and really unique for cbb. Went to the 2009 and 2011 games in Bloomington, that place is a cesspool.

Cincy -2 in a MUST WIN vs a tanking scrub is such a wild line, road or not. Typically that ***screams*** the other side, but damn.

Gonna have to break my own rule. Big. #WhoDey

If it makes you feel better the original line was -3 and it’s been bet heavy on Arizona.

I'm a road venue warrior.

That’s as big of a Gyero humblebrag as you’ll find. Well done.

Here’s the thing about the Bengals. They’re going to get their **** together soon. So watch out.

My neighbor has this big *** Halloween display in his yard - like close to an acre full of blowups, haunted sheds, etc. I walked out in my backyard under the cover of darkness, and started making a coyote sound. About six little kids started screaming their assess off and ran up the hill. Haha.

Love Mark Stoops, but how can you spend your entire life surrounded by world class athletes then look like THAT??

It’s amazing how these dudes aren’t motivated to hop on a treadmill or throw a kettlebell around.

I didn't expect Justin Edwards to be the team jokester. And wowza does Tre Mitchell seem like a great addition. A mature glue guy big man is exactly what this squad needs. I guess Huggins owed us one for 2010.

Found out from MarkKY394839339 that Tre is actually a piece of $$**** bc of Coach Calimari, so take what you see with a grain of $$$alt (if you catch my drift lol)

Typical thug if you can remove the blue koolaid glasses, as is the Norm for all the unbecoming black basketball players that pas$$ through our $chool!

***I Stand with Bacot as whatever he/she/they/IT wants to be, so we’re clear. 🇺🇸

Ah yes. Here come the fitness Warriors & adult body shamers at the ball Coach. If only he was on your Regime he’d be *crushing* life and *****!

Led by a guy, who *literally* hasn’t caught a game in person or television in a decade…and if there were a few, as I’m sure there were out of 250, it was by happy accident

A true exercise Champion! 🫡

Thank you for your service!

I would say at least half of a college coaches life involves recruiting, fundraising and university events, and events/meeting with boosters. I’d say a majority of those involve alcohol/fancy dinners etc. you’d have to be incredibly disciplined not to be overweight. Factor in the fact that they’re in their 50s/60s and the general high stress of the job it’s pretty obvious why most college coaches are overweight. It’s a pretty brutal profession.

I'll tell you one thing you'll never see Stoops do and that's pouring water on himself in his office before meeting with reporters to give the illusion that he's actually trying. Dude owns his frame/size. Needs to give up on that skull o 'clock shadow though.

Rick is starting to figure out that we will welcome him warmly again. And I can’t wait to see him ramp it up.
We did that once when he came back for Keightleys memorial service. Things seemed to change with that great speech but then he got squirley and flipped off the entire Rupp Arena crowd on his way out. But ill be honest i have forgiven Rick and he's welcome in Lexington as far as im concerned. You could put him on our sidelines in the next 5 years here and he'd win a title.

Cals greasy *** is filling in for Huggins now. Being a slob looks better on honk from West Virginia than it does a Wop from the north east.

I refuse to believe cal has to wear the athletic wear. It used to be a suit 95%

When I saw Stoops at the Kickoff Luncheon at Churchill Downs 6 weeks ago I noticed he’s much more fit in person than on camera.

He’s also a great dresser now with well tailored & sharp looking threads.

Cal’s Untuckit slob *** should drive around with Stoops sometime and learn about how to dress well.
Correct take on Stoops by Richie.

Style ranking of recent UK coaches based on my limited interaction of them in public:

1) Pitino - saw him at Porcini’s (years before he made it famous). Looked like Sinatra. The GOAT among coaches.
2) Tubby - Dressed like a PE guy. Ran into him at Suggins on a Saturday afternoon and he was dressed like he just closed a major acquisition.
3) Stoops - ran into him at Ruby’s. Looked sharp, albeit he also kind of looked like he was a single 50-year old about to have a big night in Vegas.
4) Joker - looked like a high school trainer, but to be fair to Joker he was wearing wind pants and a polo when I saw him so not a fair comp.
