Notre Dame is, and has been, a fraud since I was a kid. They’re IU basketball with a TV contract & religious affiliation & sentiment, and Rudy.

Huge win for Louisville just bc it’s ND, they’ve been abysmal, and they rolled- but it shouldn’t be near what it is/will be portrayed.

Sucks *** for sure. Probably Time to ask, Is Jeff Brohm the new Saban???

^Well they were 5-2 and ranked 10th. It’s not like they have been some sort of juggernaut over the last two decades.
Maybe act like this is a game a 6-0 team should have won?

Nothing like a big home game waxing Florida. Followed by a full week of excitement and anticipation. A late night kick-off, filling the day watching punchy underdogs go toe-to-toe with higher-ranked teams.

….only for UGA to have the game sealed at the 4:25 mark of the 1Q.

What a wonderful f*cking Saturday.

- Leary sucks. I can’t believe but it’s true.

- I wasn’t shocked. I’ve seen us overrate the Florida win before. Georgia is the top program in college football and we were playing there. Plus, they were due to breakout.

- Said it at the time and even had the conversation with a friend yesterday, Notre Dame should have waited on Fickel. They pulled the easy “promote a coordinator” move. Those usually end up mistakes. Freeman hasn’t shown me anything.

- God help our Louisvillians in GYERO.

So let’s talk about THE most exciting thing that happened in college football yesterday…

05 got an offer and committed to Columbia University on our visit to NYC!!!!!!!

Official announcement coming soon as we have to work through some decommitment stuff, but kid is ecstatic and pops is over the moon. Big time!

That’s incredible 🙌🙌

Gonna be an amazing college experience and education for that young man. Well done.

IIRC, that’s the school you were considering whether or not to pay for vs scholarships elsewhere?

That’s awesome man! Congrats.

Stoops was a god yesterday up until about 7:04 PM. Now he's Cal 2.0?

How about this? We played like *** and Leary missed some huge throws / our D made some stupid penalties that would have made a game out of it in the first half.

The test is next week against Mizzou. We take them down and we've got a real shot at going 9-3 / 8-4. We lose, and it could be a 7-5 / 6-6 type season on the horizon.

That stat is not good, but when it is intentionally apart of your gameplan then it’s not as bad as it sounds.

Tennessee is the best at plays per game with 73 and UGA is second best at 71.

So we are talking 17-21 plays more per game for the two best in the SEC at that, but those schools aren’t in the top 25 nationally either which means that isn’t a stat we collectively care about in the SEC due to time of possession and the pressure that puts on the opponent to operate efficiently.

It just so happens that #1 UGA did exactly that!

You just said a bunch of nothing.

I love Stoops. Hungover & clearly forgot all is excused bc “Georgia is a really good team”

Offense:

UGA - 608
UK - 162

Our tempo is, and has been alarming. Seems easy for the truly good teams to deal with over the years, and we never truly establish a rhythm.

It was a pathetic performance with blame all around, on both sides of the ball & even the goddam Head Coach! 😮

Eh it doesn’t matter what the explanation is about today, in an all systems fail like last night nothing makes it better.

When playing the TOS game your goal is to challenge the opponent and force TO’s or stops. Typically that isn’t done with 10 yard cushions on the WRs and lining up 4 DL vs 5-6 OL(including 2TE sets). We played soft AF which made all the other miscues that much worse.

That’s the best I got, and you posted in game despite the penalties the defense had to be better, and that couldn’t have been more accurate.

One of the things I don’t like about NIL is when it’s not really earned youngsters can get lazy(Brown and Key).

Those two have really played like a pile of soggy **** compared to their god given abilities.

F, Collingsworth and his little **** kid.

May have been posted already but the NCAA just concluded some meetings aimed at bringing stability and consistency to the NIL world

Apparently there will be a database for participating boosters/donors to (voluntarily) register their connections & contributions

And they said they intend to help make the contracts with the players follow a consistent format and scope - I don't think they SUCCEEDED yet but - thats their intent

so - hang on everyone - the NCAA is on the way to help

Along the way I learned that Tennessee was placed on 5 year's probation for the Pruitt era -- 17-18 level one Violations & I think "hundreds" of secondary violations -- loss of scholarships - $5m penalty and vacated about 20-25 wins fm that period (4 assit coaches have letters following them around now)

ZERO post season bowl bans because the NCAA didn't wanna penalize the ppl there now who weren't cheating bastards (whatever)

And finally - somehow - someway - my Air Force falcons received one year probation for repeatedly contacting recruits during dead periods and hosting events at Colorado Springs when they shouldn't have -

And yet - they are 5-0 and will win the commander in chief trophy again this year

Probation isn't the big deal it used to be is it??

Couldn’t find one condescending reply from UKO on any Cowboys journalist or fans “X” accounts or social media. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m flabbergasted!

Indigenous Peoples Day

lol
Got a buddy who attends one of those blue hair Episcopalian pinko churches. They held a Indigenous People's Day service yesterday -- in Nicholasville. I'm sure there were Palestinian supporters in the house.

White people are a damn mess right now.

* Watched the monologue portion of Van Hiles' first half breakdown. He seems to largely attribute it to the guys on defense playing hero ball and ignoring their individual assignments. Also can't stand our safeties and wide receivers. Leary's f*** ups are obvious but he's generally been much better than portrayed and his wide receivers have screwed up a lot of big plays.

He seems to think it was a full spectrum eff up from the jump but that we are still a really good squad who just needs to mature and fix the little things.

About as optimistic as you can get from that debacle, I guess, and dude is not known to sunshine pump.

* Did @SAECATFAN fall in a hole in his yard? It is football season, broseph. Post.

* Madness is on Friday. Wild that it is already here. Z better be on the court.

-wow was i wrong. what an *** whooping. I guess UGA was tired of hearing how Texas/Mich/insert pac 12 team here was the real number 1.

^that **** is driven by SEC fatigue in the media...understandable, I'm tired of uga and Bama too.

-what we witnessed was a perfect example of elite vs. good. UK is still a top 25 team/program...but nowhere near the top 5.

^can't withstand self inflicted ********. Drive killing/extending penalties in the 1st quarter put the game out of reach early. Discipline issues: 100% on the staff.

-would UK have won otherwise? Slim chance...but it certainly wouldn't have been a curry Era beat down.

-moving on. At the beginning of the season we all had this penciled in as a sure loss...the season isn't over. 10-2 still on the table, alabama waking up is bad...but beat who you're supposed to beat and it's there. Not worried about u6...ND is way overrated.
