Bold prediction, Elon will rebrand X back to Twitter by Q3 2024 with a new and improved revamp of the platform.

If you search for someones Twitter using their name and X, the results can get spicy real quick and rarely ever actually pull Twitter (in my anecdotal experience).

The culture still uses the term tweets constantly and every article that references Twitter as X has to indicate the previous name.

Such a weird decision all around.

Luckily for us Kentucky football under mark stoops has never suffered from hangovers and let one loss turn into two or three.

AND -
False. His brother Edward Penishands starred in the eponymously named 1991 erotic film.

TS.

Is it appropriate to tell another man he made you pee ....a little?

I think we've known OF each other long enough to take this step

I cannot believe people to continue to pretend that if we try really super extra hard that we’ll have facilities, recruiting, and NIL that stacks up to (or surpasses) Alabama, Florida, UGA, etc.

Sure, peaks and valleys and what not, but over the long haul it just kinda is what it is.

Seriously - I conjure up memories of decades of Kentucky football that wasn't just bad --- it defied normal reality with finding ways to lose

I remember thinking that if we could be guaranteed a 6-8 win season annually and be competitive (at the time like Ga-Tech) --->> then I would go down to the devil's crossroads and sign away my honkey-tonker-tool to Ol' Scratch himself

Stoops has done something many thought impossible already -

Not only competing at UK and winning consistently - but no gimmicks - no hint of scandal - no out of control **** -

I freakkng place him somewhere between James Madison - Bill Cowher - and.a 7th level mage from Dungeons & Dragons (2nd edition)

THAT is what I think you honkey beaches of sheet

Rasputin was packing heat

I KNEW it!!!!

Do you guys think it's harder to assess HS talent and match the appropriate pay -- or harder to assess college talent coming into the NFL & place/pay?

Can teams trade players in college now?
Damn sure bet they COULD work it out off-line

I thought Jordan Burks underwear showing was part of the photoshop. Turns out it's in the original too.

You’re a *****, too, rudd.

Who else wants on the ***** bus?
^ Always get a chuckle when Chrome opens GYERO to some random day/year rather than last post.

- By far the worst thing about business trips is filing out expense reports. Just a completely mundane task and usually have to wrestle with some squidneck auditor on every minuscule itemization

- Thought with all the young talent and ability to win the AL East over usual stalwarts, the Orioles would make some noise in the post season. Nope, crap 7, clear the deck. Dodgers on the brink of the same outcome by the last wild card entrant. Guess it's both the beauty of postseason baseball and the realization that the regular season doesn't mean ish, as long as you get in dance.

- Written earlier this year, Jack Carr's 'Only the Dead' plays out eerily similar to what we've seen since happening in our world since Saturday. Great 6 part series starting with 'The Terminal List'.

- Was pretty down on the remainder of the season right after the loss, but a few days perspective helps. No shame in losing to the dominant program of the last three years at their house. Move on and take care of business this weekend and 9-3 is still possible.

- Need a reset on SAE's thoughts regarding Madness campers. Midseason pigskin BMW podcast wouldn't suck either.

-All those Black Lives Matter yard signs aren't aging very well are they? Yikes.

And we're off. Woke up and chose violence this morning. Pissed off from 6a leg day.

-I have no issue at all with Stoops comments. You want real commentary? Some times you're not gonna like it. He's right, to keep up with the big boys we need more money. They basically have unlimited budgets. Regardless, get those fools ready and out for blood Saturday. I want throats.

-Kook making an in person appearance Saturday. 😲 Need Ron and Wynn to really get the crew out. Not gonna lie, I've googled "Ron Mexican dentist Columbus" a few times.

-F*ck _Chase_, what a little ***** that guy is.

-Will it ever rain again?

-The new mobile embedded videos on the first post of each page are f*cking annoying. Clean that **** up, catspaws.

-Are we up to monthly #PrimeDays? Amazon needs to chill tf out.

-Say what you want about the NYT but their cooking/recipe website is fantastic.

-At the age where I'm way too excited about a new knife roll. Furreal tho, can't effin wait.

-meh... I have my moments, chad.

-lemons/lemonade : I visit the lair occasionally... and the discussion is usually somewhat measured /positive/informative. After this weekend/cms comments it's been invaded by "rafters types". I've been able to add a metric **** ton of folks to ignore list.

-kook is slated to bring some homemade gnocchi and a sass to the schemgate this weekend...Huber giddy.

October 29th, 2019. So could be football or roundball related but most likely was some kitschy, locally sourced clothing recommendation that understandably set you off.

-I am many things bonz...kitschy is not one of them. I am decidedly un-kitschy. ******* drummers, man. I would've gone with: snobby, poncey or foppish.

kitsch

The fam took a trip to New England for Fall break this year. Flew into Boston on Saturday morning, drove up to Salem that afternoon then on to Freeport, Maine to stay the night there.

Woke up Sunday and drove on up to Bar Harbor after hitting a few picturesque coastal towns along the way.

Stayed Sunday night - Wednesday morning in Bar Harbor/Acadia.

Drove to Kittery, Maine on Wednesday with a stop in Portland along the way.

Woke up Thursday and did all the Boston stuff Thursday late morning through Saturday morning.

HIGHLIGHTS:

* Maine is a "hidden" gem. Just breathtakingly beautiful. It's like the Smoky mountains, but with water everywhere.
* Lots of white people. It's like the Retired White Dork capital of the world. And lots of outdoorsy/hiking types. PTI would love it there.
* The weather was awesome.
* The food is fine. Really expensive.
* Best lobster roll was at Khaler's in Boothbay, Maine. Cool town.
* Bar Harbor is cool, but jacked up prices for the tourists and cruise ship visitors.
* Cadillac Mountain sunrise FTW!
* Boston was pleasantly clean and very walkable.
* Didn't fully understand the Italian impact on Boston. Obviously knew about the Irish impact on the town, but their Little Italy has to rival any other major US city. Lots of great little Italian restaurants, pizza places, and canoli places everywhere on the North End.
* The Freedom Trail and all of the historical hotspots hit you with those patriotism vibes.
* You only get craft beer out of the tap up there. $8+ select small batch private brewery selections.
* Randomly drove in to Portsmouth, NH the day we got to Kittery. Walked the sidewalks and stumbled upon The Goat sports bar. They had honest-to-god 10 cent wings. Thought there was a catch, but nope. Just order one of those full price drinks. You could only order 10 at a time, but it was legit. They were well portioned and I didn't catch diphtheria. Just like Hooter's circa '94-'95. It was that Dime Time, boi!
Did a NE jaunt this weekend as well. Flew into Manchester, NH, then drove around Vermont and ended up in the Presidential Range in NH. Stayed at a historic hotel for a couple of nights, rode the cog railway up Mt. Washington, drove through some beautiful scenery. Surprised that Lake Champlain in VT wasn't more elitist than it was. Very blue collar.

Littleton, NH is a gem.

When I was a kid, I thought the Texas A&M cheer dudes were a legit branch of the military. Realizing they’re all just a bunch of zesty future cops has been such a weird development. Like wtf is going on?? How did this become a thing? Why haven’t they been canceled

The spicy jam at McDonald’s is dope. Really hope they keep that in the rotation. Pairs nicely with a chicken biscuit, just my opinion

I really didn’t have much issue w stoops comments at all. Honestly seems like it was just a simple miscalculation and it was mostly tongue in cheek. Don’t think he would legitimately crush his own players on the radio like that. Felt like he intended for it to be funny but just got out of control. Kinda like when Kramer called those black guys the N word

Mike Leach on the TAMU cadets:

How come they get to pretend they are soldiers? The thing is, they aren't actually in the military. I ought to have Mike's Pirate School. The freshmen, all they get is the bandanna. When you're a senior, you get the sword and skull and crossbones. For homework, we'll work pirate maneuvers and stuff like that.
