-Trip to Shepherdsville for my aunt’s funeral this evening. She was only 72. Had dementia and has been in a bad spot for about a year, but it all started 7 years ago after she had heart surgery. She was my dad’s oldest brother’s wife.
My uncle did part of the eulogy and got up there and sang “you are so beautiful to me” and brought the chapel to tears. He said he sang that to her all the time and wanted to also sing it to everyone there because he thought everyone was beautiful for all they’ve done while she’s been sick.
My dad’s youngest brother’s wife had surgery for breast cancer today. All went as well as expected, but man, what a day for the clan.
That drive from Lex to Shepherdsville in rush hour sucks. And then driving home in the dark. I can’t see ****.
-Italian drip beef is cooked. White chicken chili going on in the morning.
@Kooky Kats, are you making the bolognese and gnocchi and gramma’s? (I like logistics… trying to figure out how you are going to cook and transport.)
