  • 10am, miss out on Michters fill your own by 6 spots on line.
  • Go visit gramma at 11 in UofL hospital to some bad news. My 10yo. was shook by Doc unloading test results. Poor dude.
  • Went to Keeneland. Parked on the Hill, drank some brown water. Saw some old friends at the Theta tent.
  • Meeting 19yo son…find out Keeneland is SOLD OUT. That’s beat, Michael the elderly GreenCoat, sneaks us in! BOSS. So thankful. Turned a disaster day into a memorable one. Little man cashed a juicy ticket. Changed his mindset a bit.
  • Leaving, found Michael and paid his beautiful ***.
  • Off to some joint on Old Richmond Rd for dinner. Hope it’s good. Whatever. Food-eat it.
  • Back to Ville to snooze and see gramma again…poor lady. Brilliant mind trapped in a 90 yo body that’s fully failed. Not sure I want all my marbles as the train is coming full bore.
  • Gnocchi Bolognese LFG
  • Too much Mizzou mustard at the track today. Don’t like it one bit.
  • Leary shows up tomorrow. Cates by 11.

-Trip to Shepherdsville for my aunt’s funeral this evening. She was only 72. Had dementia and has been in a bad spot for about a year, but it all started 7 years ago after she had heart surgery. She was my dad’s oldest brother’s wife.

My uncle did part of the eulogy and got up there and sang “you are so beautiful to me” and brought the chapel to tears. He said he sang that to her all the time and wanted to also sing it to everyone there because he thought everyone was beautiful for all they’ve done while she’s been sick.

My dad’s youngest brother’s wife had surgery for breast cancer today. All went as well as expected, but man, what a day for the clan.

That drive from Lex to Shepherdsville in rush hour sucks. And then driving home in the dark. I can’t see ****.

-Italian drip beef is cooked. White chicken chili going on in the morning. @Kooky Kats, are you making the bolognese and gnocchi and gramma’s? (I like logistics… trying to figure out how you are going to cook and transport.)

After 1st place $$$ last week in SAE Pick’em, off to 1-2 start this week: On a 50 yd buzzer Hail Mary & 29-0 halftime lead meltdown.

May need to stay off the actual gambol apps today. 😳

-cfb is bonkers in general.... and I don't know if it's "real" or not, but it feels like this year has more "weird beats" than normal.

Lost a parlay on that game last night. Had Colorado 1st Quarter/Halftime/over/win and all they had to do was win outright at the end. Losing betting tickets is your receipts, Coach Prime.

Legit looking forward to meeting kook for the first time today.

Now we just need to get Wynn and Mexico down to an Extrav.
As mentioned to Anth, if expecting to see an extra from the Sopranos in a velour track suit, you may be mildly disappointed 🤌🏻.

That said, look forward to putting face to handle!
