Luka dropping a “effing awesome” on the postgame interview then the Interviewer said “it’s the first game, won’t matter.” Will be everywhere on social media tomorrow.
Smooth triple-double for the other, unathletic Euro that’ll be in the running for POY. Just weird the 2 best players are Euro.

-I was always told how dog friendly St Pete is and it definitely is, 80% of stores and bars have a sticker/sign that says dogs welcome or we prefer dogs over people or dogs welcome AF, etc which is awesome. There are two “dog bars” that are bars where everyone brings their dog and there are pools and obstacle courses and whatnot.

Haven’t been yet but seems like a great place to meet the lassies.

Anyway, this chick had her dog in the gym with her today. Hadn’t seen that before but I’m okay with it. In KW, the gym BodyZone had Maggie the owners dog running around all the time which was cool. She’d bring you a toy and you’d chuck it, someone else picks it up and chucks it again.

-Got offered a bar gig yesterday. I said great, what're your hours? 5p-3a 😂 Thanks but no thanks toots. If you think I’m going to be awake at 3-4a it’s going to be on the today side of it, not the yesterday side of it.

Plus, only broke 20-something’s are awake at 2-3a and I’m good on that.

Still holding out for the sports bar by the Rays stadium.

-Traded in the scoot scoot life for an E-Bike, can’t wait for that sucker to get here.

-The sun not coming up til 7:40 is a joke, gtfoh with that. Sun should be up around 6:30 at the latest. I’ve already lifted for two hours and walked my dog 1.5 miles before it’s fully up.

-Finally canceled my Fabletics VIP, have about 3 full drawers of their ****. I really like it but would like to try those 10,000 or whatever shorts, to bad I have like 20 pairs of different color same style Fabbies already.

-Also, saw this cop flying up behind me yesterday on the way to Florida moms house to let the electrician in. Thought damn this dude is after someone, well it was me.

Huge black cop and mad as hell. “You’re doing over 35 in a neighborhood with kids everywhere, WHAT THE F**K is your problem?!?!

Very sorry officer I sincerely apologize I didn’t realize I was going that fast.

Comes back from the patrol SUV and says you former military right?

No sir I don’t have the honor of saying that but quite a bit of my family was. I was the baby and my GMA wouldn’t let me, well I was in the AF recruiters office at UK and GMA found out and called me and says if you walk out now I’ll pay for the rest of your college. (That’s a true story).

Officer: well it’s a warning don’t f**king speed in my neighborhood ever again.

Will not happen officer, again I’m very sorry.

Shew, glad to get out of that. People think I’m military all the time. Airport, restaurants, cops apparently, etc. Always trying to give me discounts and thanking me for my service.

I’m assuming it’s the skin tight fade on my hair and my face along with being in shape, 2 sleeves and dropping yes sir no sir to everyone younger or older. I always correct them though, I’m not about to have any stolen valor over here.

It’s amazing what happens when you are respectful to law enforcement and when you are not.

That said, if you can’t go to the gym and leave your dog at home you may have a problem. It’s out of control where people think taking their dog is ok. In fact, every time I see someone holding a “doggo” in their lap as they are driving down the road I secretly wish the dog would jump out of the window, it makes me that irrationally mad. And here is another little secret. Not everybody likes your dog like you do. This coming from someone who likes dogs, too.

100%, I’d bet 99% of the time when someone tells you a cop was being a dick, it was in fact YOU breaking a law and then YOU being a disrespectful dickhead.

Show some gd respect to the people out there doing literally one of the hardest jobs in the world and trying to keep your *** safe at night while their family just prays they come home every night.

Sorry that **** really pisses me off.

Cooper Flagg could have ended this months ago and saved a lot of people a lot of time. We all knew where this was headed. Easiest call ever.*

*really hoping that a miracle occurs and he picks UConn and this becomes a freezing cold take

This reads as if you actually know a lot about “big z”.

🙄

-I think it actually does take a unicorn to be crossed over and on the ground from Andre Drummond. Or at least some sort of hoofed animal.

-Thought Dwight Howard’s text were really gay until he cleared it up and said no offense, but I’m not gay.

-Wembenyana appears to be quite good, better than “Chet” even. Victor is a much stronger, more masculine name as well.

-Just got to airport, flying by myself to California. I rarely ever fly alone, just seems exciting that I can get in all sorts of debauchery and do whatever I want even though I’m doing absolutely nothing exciting whatsoever other than drinking a ****** Bloody Mary.

Spurs are gonna be a fun watch. Still blows my mind how a player (Sochan) gets to the level of NBA Starting PG, and have to shoot 1 handed free throws in order to be above 50%.

Pop is in his 28th year w/ the Spurs. I mean, That's incredible in any era, but unfathomable today. I'd say that's probably a Top3 best bet for Pro sports records (coach of same team) that will never be broken.

If Miami is smart, and they seem to be, they'll let Spoelstra go until he decides to leave. But he's still 13 years behind Pop, and i can't see him hanging it up too soon w/ Wemby on board.

Dwight Howard grabbed another man’s penis on national television. A lot of people forget that. He big boy’d cameron Payne and was caught in 4K.

I have no idea what he’s gotten himself into this time but I think he gets a pass from a lot of folks for rubbing meat especially the way it looked like it wasn’t the first time it’s ever happened.

Maybe that’s why he is spending so much time in Thailand

Popovich is 74. Obvi he sticks around as long as he can, but it’s a shame he couldn’t be a bit younger when Wemby came around, just to see how much he could accomplish with him. Just getting 4-5 years together with those two is probably going to be considered a success.

Obviously a miracle situation for him to learn under the best. Pretty damn clear already the only thing that can/will stop him from being incredible with time is injury, which will obviously happen at some point as it does with anyone that size...hopefully he can avoid the major stuff, b/c he's truly something.

Pop seems to be pretty awesome when he has top 10 all-time talents and pretty average when he doesn’t. Reminds me of Phil Jackson.

There are a couple of teens in my neighborhood who are legit 7 footers. They work out with some dude at the Y all the time. They have guard skills and move extremely well for their size. My understanding is they were adopted from Africa, but maybe it was a long time ago because I talked to one at the gym and he didn’t have an accent. The point of this is that it seems like they are finding more and more super tall, athletic players all over the world. What’s not getting bigger is the court. They need to extend it 2 feet on each side at least. It would improve the game.

Extending the court would just mean more opportunity for Cal's terrible shooters to launch terrible long shots with no chance of hitting the rim, let alone going through the hoop. Please no.

Is he their PG? Dude was a forward in college on the Baylor title team I thought.

- Wenby is good, but he hoovers on the 3pt line too much even though it was flat out working because it drew the rim protectors out of place for Vassell and KJ.

- I love what Randle has achieved, but every Knicks game I see he just gets under my skin with his seemingly lazy/selfish play.

- Fall ball ended last night for the 7YO. Kid came a long way and we were asked to do travel ball which I immediately responded “give us a week to let you know”.

My main issue is the politics of him not being taken serious if we respectfully decline the offer, and I’d like to see him handle 1 actual baseball season before making that commitment.

- Sounds like we are going to get at least one more interest rate bump, if not 2, before year end. Surely the Dems in control understand going into elections next year this is actually the opposite way to stay in office.

- Found out in a meeting yesterday that Blue Run bourbon sold in August to Coors. It’s astonishing what is being built in that industry just to be bought at a ridiculous price.

Why can’t companies see how to start the venture ground up is less expensive than buying an overpriced dependent business already in operations? Just having Jim Rutledge tied to it sold it, now Coors is building a huge multi million dollar distillery in Georgetown.

- 190 strikeouts and still 9 innings away from the World Series, anyone want to hear UKO explain how that’s possible?

- I just don’t see how this spread is 3.5 Saturday. I’ll stay away but that’s begging for UT bets which gives me a lot of hope. A LOT!

Building a company from the ground up is a lot harder and more time consuming, and involves way more direct involvement as well as higher risk. Typically companies are purchasing the management and corporate structure (c-suite) more than the product. The values are also typically based on a multiple of the EBITDA and the ranges are usually specific for the specific industry.

I’ve learned all this in the past year as I currently have three corporations wanting to purchase my business and it’s made my head spin, but it’s been educational for sure.

WS: Do we have a palm sander?
Anth: Why?

If anyone is in the Montclair area please just make sure the house is still standing.

😖

If she can knock down the house with a palm sander you have bigger problems.

Wemby showed last night how fun he can be. Didn’t do squat for the first 36 minutes, due to foul trouble, and then in a span of about 3 minutes he hit 2 3’s, a turn around j and alley oop. It’s amazing the soft touch he has on his shot for a guy that tall.

Pop is just a freaking genius, not that it needs to be said. Running a 6-8 forward at point because he is a natural and is a great matchup to guard Luka.

Good stuff. I learned some of that last year when I considered an offer myself. But I also realized how much I didn’t understand when I was just winging it to start Down Home. We cleared a lot up in the last year, and moving into my own space should help tremendously too.

- Side note, starting Mount Washington Bourbon Co for one of the locals. Kind of giving me a little pep in my step getting back to the fun part of this thing vs all the govt red tape hoops I’ve been jumping thru for almost a year straight.

UK Athletics:

Hey, Cal… Sit this one out, fatso. We’re going to be honest with the fans regarding
Zvonimir Ivišić and why he’s not playing tomorrow.
Another example of how out of sync Cal is with the UK athletics department.

Also, Cal misleading people as to why Z isn't playing tomorrow makes no sense. Does it actually make anyone feel better about him by explaining he's too out of shape to play rather than simply saying he isn't cleared yet?
