* rogue's posting has been exceptionally ****** today, which is really saying something. We really need to give him a Mad Libs style posting script, that involves nothing more than waxing hoes, living in paradise, making 6-figs wearing flip flops to work every day, and living that bach life.
* It's totally cool to despise a player but still love the program, right?
Aaron Bradshaw is social media-savvy and is very aware of the speculation about his status at Kentucky this year after a foot injury suffered at the McDonald’s All-American Game in March caused him to miss UK’s four exhibition games in Canada.
He had been off limits to media members since getting to Kentucky but that changed at Wednesday’s Media Day and the 7-foot freshman said the social media speculation did bother him.
“I hate rumors. You feel me?” Bradshaw said. “I’d rather be told to my face. Ask me. I like to be asked questions. I don’t like that whole ‘putting something on my name’ that I have no say-so in.”
Bradshaw called it a “lot of BS” that he had seen about him and his future on social media. He also made it clear he plans to play this season as soon as he’s cleared to go.
“I came here to win a national championship. And continue on my journey,” he said. “People just saying that, and people trying to paint a picture on me. I mean, it’s gonna happen.”
He pointed out that NBA star LeBron James gets talked about. Star Kobe Bryant did before his passing just like a lot of other star players do.
“I can’t really complain because I signed up for it. So I gotta take it day by day,” he said.
He's just like Kobe and LeBron.....PUT SOME RESPECT ON HIS NAME!!!

* Decided to sponsor a local taco/tequila/music festival last night. One of those things where, for a fee, you get to set up a table and promote your business. Only did it because my buddy is the one who produces the festival, so whatev.
The setup --> there's basically 79 tents giving away tacos, tequila, mezcal, margs, beer, and staffed by hot young ***, and I'm over here like a BISP slanging insurance. On a hunch I brought a big *** cooler and stocked it to the gills with bottled water. That $40 investment literally saved the day, and my booth was crowded AF for no other reason. I'm an expert marketer.
* Totally comfortable skipping Game 1 and the Georgetown exhibition tonight to go watch
Killers of the Flower Moon. But, 3 1/2 hours? Yikes.
* Absolutely amazing that the Maine killer is still on the loose.
* Given the importance of tomorrow's Tennessee game, it's pretty amazing how low key the hype has been this week. I hate to say it, but I feel some apathy setting in. Like the last Rich Brooks team and the first Joker Phillips team, fans just kinda realize we're about to be a fairly boring 6-7 win team. Please, dear god, let us pick up a W tomorrow.
* Ever open one of those little Starburst 2-packs and they're both yellow? That's kind of what Kentucky football feels like at the moment. I'm still gonna eat them, but meh.
* I'm Linkedin buds with a guy who used to be the GM of the AAA team here, and he's always posting jobs opportunities in MLB. The A's are currently looking for a Director of Minor League Development. I mean, I've got an MBA and on the board of the local Chamber of Commerce. I think I'm a good fit. Probably 1-2 promotions away from GM of the Cincinnati Reds. Thoughts?
