It went 50+ yards, and it was a backfooted touch pass. Unreal.

Off the top of my head, but I totally agree.
I’m as excited as anyone, but the 2 best throws IMO were his misses to Treylon Burks.
One was broken up, and the other was caught but Burks couldn’t get his feet in. Those two throws were absolutely perfect throws on a line.
Again, I’m genuinely stoked, Huber giddy even, that this guy is about to be the face of the team I cheer for.

I find it hilarious and embarrassing that Levis threw the first NFL Td pass for a UK player since Tim Masthay last did it.
Well, there hasn't been a ton of QB talent on the team since Tim Couch.
Fairly certain everyone here excited for Levis understands that game won't be the norm any time soon, if ever?
He still ***** slapped pretty much everyone in the NFL fanbase, most of which were certain he'd never do anything of significance in an NFL game period, never mind have a historic one in his debut. I still think renting a QB on a yearly basis (or even 2 years) is what continues to doom us. The one guy that could have had a stand out season lost continuity at OC and suffered. Leary looked the part on Saturday but it took 8 games to get there.

Cutter has a big time arm and he's 6'6" and still fairly mobile. Saunders coming in the next year isn't as big and doesn't have as much arm, but I think he's a better overall qb prospect.

You could make an argument that it has been since Woodson. Every decent QB under Stoops has been a transfer.
As much as we bitched about Terry Wilson, I'd love to have him again next year.
^ would be nice if one of these 4*/Elite 11/hyped QBs that we get over legit competition turns out to be at least MARGINAL. They've basically all been complete busts, and not done any better at their next stops.
If we give up scores on 80% of the opponent's possessions like we have in the past three games, I don't think it would matter if Joe Montana was under center.

-agreed...to be fair Saturday was the first time the offense made it "easy"(sans the early turnover on downs...holding them to 3 was one of the few defensive highlights tbh) on the defense since UF. But your point is more than valid... White seems to have spit the bit of late.

I’m not sure White “schemes” much tbh. I think he just lines guys up and hopes they win their matchups. It’s great when you have the national defensive player of the year at DE. Not so much when you don’t.
- I hope Will Levis runs around doing the D-Generation X chop at all the people who dogged him for nonsense reasons at and immediately following the draft. He had double Tannehill's TDs for the season in one game. That says a lot about how trash their offense was, too, but still. I hope Levis feels vindicated.

He wasn’t as big a success as Woodson but Towles is the last solid QB we developed.
Probably not a good comp, but he was run off his SR and I didn’t think it was fair to him. He had solid outings against UF that came just short IIRC.
Rolled down for the noon Florida game from Louisville and it took almost 2.5 hours to get to the tailgate. Granted I-64 was shutdown around Frankfort, but still once through that mess, still took an hour from Versailles Rd w/ Cooper closing so early. Never again.

I think you look at top 25 and beyond, 50% of QB's out of transfer portal. The top 5 have their choice of QB's and start the best freshman and the other transfers, see OSU, Michigan, etc. We will always need a reliable QB out of portal. We have had no depth at QB since Mark May and Rodney Gilmore were screaming for Shane Boyd to start over Lorenzen. I hope Boley is the real deal but I'm hedging my bets.
