The offense is exponentially better (so far) than what we have endured for the past several years. Ball movement, driving, kicking, etc., are sights for sore eyes. Need to improve on shot selection, but I'm loving what I see so far.

We're gonna win a bunch of games just wearing teams down defensively, especially when we hopefully get some athletic size in the middle. That team last night, although ******, was toast after the under 16 in the second half.

I already can envision my redass at the absolute slaughtering Wagner and ROB are going to take at the rim when we play in Auburn, Knoxville, and Starkville with absolutely no calls given to them.

Feels good to maybe be back.

Thought yday was a great first step, especially with some of the early struggles we’ve had in these games the past few years.

But I’m withholding judgement until after we play KU next wk to declare if we are (maybe) back.

Sure, we had Tyler Hero, but we ain’t never had a real White Boy who can terrorize people on D, block shots, and pull up with a 40” vertical.

This is the reason for the season. This is why we do this. This is unprecedented. This will single handedly save Cal’s fat ***.

Per capita gdp in Venezuela is $14.5K, Rogue.
Well my website I randomly googled said what I said, that was a copy and paste not a survey I did myself. Either way if the average is 14.5K the. 50K would make you 4x wealthier than the average person, that’s pretty good, no?

I am not ready to give too much GYERO love after beating a team that has barely existed in 2023.

Yes some things looked good, but there are definite concerns that we can worry about when we start playing actual division 1 programs.

Let's all meet up here next Tuesday around 1145pm and see what it looks like.

* International basketball is a fun rabbit hole to dive down into on occasion. I mean, Eloy Vargas was AWFUL, and somehow he's still earning a paycheck 12 years later as a pro. Per Wiki, he's played in...

- Dominican Republic
- Spain
- G League
- Puerto Rico
- Greece
- Uruguay
- France
- Argentina
- Venezuela
- Brazil
- Iran
...and this is a dude who was terrible. Not saying it's a dream life, but it beats the hell out of whatever most of us were doing professionally in our 20s/early 30s.

* Here's a great scene where Cal doesn't have any Centers/big men on the roster....

* What was the most frustrating thing that pissed you off about last night's blowout, easy, fun victory?

* Good luck to all of you Kentuckians as you head to the polls today.

* Wife is really on a roll the past 24 hours.

- lost her keys when she was 45 minutes away from home setting up for a trail race she's directing in 2 weeks
- had to call AAA to unlock her car to see if they were in the console
- didn't find them there, and got a ride back home but left her car open/unlocked/accidentally left the flashers on
- NOPD came by our house at 12:30am and asked us (me, actually -- she was still asleep) to call the Sheriff Department in Norco
- Sheriff's deputy was inquiring about the vehicle because it looked very suspicious to be in the middle of nowhere, unlocked, with the flashers on, but I assured him everything was ok
- she finds her keys this morning but in the process of driving my car back out to Norco she backs into the neighbors car

I feel like krazykats on a normal day.

* Jury duty today. That reminds me......how hot was Tia Carrere?

* Saw this on social....

"If these rates scare you now wait until they come down and buyers flood the market again. Imagine making your 5th offer, waiving home inspection, and guaranteeing $30,000 cash appraisal gap just to try to win against 10 other offers."

🤣 🤣 🤣

Totally changed my mind. I'm gonna go buy a bunch of houses!!!!

desperate realtors = 🤮

Almost as bad as "marry the house, but date the rate"

* Just can't really overstate how important that win was on Saturday. This may not be the magical season we all wanted, but 8-4 with a bowl win would be pretty badass.

* Buzzard luck. Lol.

Calling it now... this will be the best team since at least the 2018-2019 team. And that team would make the FF 8 out of 10 times in my opinion. That team's biggest gap was a good point guard, and we have two of those this year.

It blows my mind that Cal is so in love with bigs when key to his success here has been stud guards who can push the ball - especially over the last 7 or 8 years. There is no excuse for doing stall ball or having shock clock violations if two of three of Wagner, Sheppard and Dillingham are on the floor together.

The scene in The Big Short where Steve Carrell's guys go down to Florida to meet with the loser mortgage bankers, and the agent who just keeps repeating that "the sellers are motivated" and ultimately find out that the housing market was hinging on cash rich strippers who had double digit mortgages is one of the more transparent looks into "creating generational wealth through real estate"

What a moment for old Shep, watching his kid wear his number for UK and influence the game. There are obviously going to be a lot of higher highs than last night- but can't imagine that initial feeling he got when Reed checked in.

-It isn’t just here that guards win championships. It’s been that way since I can remember, and I can’t even remember the last team led by a true BIG that won it all.

-It just warms my heart that when women do what they do ol Krazykats crosses the mind.

- I get why fans think of Herro with Shep, but Shep is so much better. I honestly think he is the key to our season despite the more talented players around him. Kid is just nice and nothing phases him.

-Rates dropped and I had 8 house plans come across my desk yesterday folks just been sitting and waiting on because rates scared them. Already have the “special order” materials on order as they’re all ready to start. Head is spinning.

-Bottling equipment still “out on the ocean” which is starting to piss me off. It’s all in except the down spout fillers which is pointless to deliver without.

Inspector has to have it all in to finalize approval. I mean I am >< to being open. Really want to be past this point before the holidays.

-Speaking of holidays one of my favorite memories as a kid was hitting the mall with parents, siblings and friends and just be given a time to meet back at the food court, parents paid for food and back to roaming the mall until the next appointed time.

Kids today will never have that freedom.

- I hit 258 today. Weeks with minimal carbs and now when we eat pasta or Mexican I feel miserable without even finishing the whole meal. Absolutely insane the difference.

Has that Owen guy said they stole his idea yet? If you’re a graphic designer and pump out enough court/uniform/field concepts you can always claim they copied you.

I guess I just remember Jordan Hawkins more than UConns big down low.

But before that though………….

Levis named QB1. Tannehill is the backup when he's back.

Was the tweak taking the ball out of Wagner's hands? Shep and Rob sure handled it a lot more in half 2.

I remain of the opinion that AB needs to be playing well for this team to make any kind of noise. Until then they're still a likeable, fun bunch to watch. Can be elite with a rim protector, rim runner, lob finisher, rebounder. Quite the limb I'm going out on, I know, but that has been as much a key to Cal's successes as PG play, if not more so.

I got Big East basketball fever yesterday watching their preview before our game. 3 top 10 teams, another ranked, plus Pitino at St. Johns. Worship the history and general vibe around that conference. A pilgrimage to Big East conference tourney is bucket listy.

The court does look an awful lot like one of that guy's designs, but it's not like it was wildly creative. UK logo and the state outline. Fairly basic stuff. Looks great tho.

Between the court remodel, demoting the checkerboards, alcohol sales, and Cal's suits, what are we supposed to ***** about, games?
