Honestly, I am just angry. Shouldn’t be a prick to Chad. I’m tired of mediocre being called something it’s not. Acting like we are stupid for not wanting to be more.

He may be right. He also may be wrong.

We will never know because we are stuck with a pretty wild contract for a guy who will once again be .500 or below in our conference.

It’s all good, buddy. I get where you’re coming from.

You are such a gapping *****. Always worried about what could go wrong or be worse.

We are 2-7 in our last 9 SEC home games. You’re afraid and will never be a risk taker. We get it. Some of us have balls and take risks. It pays off more times than not.

If you’re so much smarter why haven’t you accomplished anything more than us?

Enjoy clocking in Monday morning, Einstein.
Damn. That got serious real fast. **** guys, its just FB...let's meet n the center and tap gloves.

If you just take away the miserable first 10 minutes, and the times we came up empty in the red zone, and if we don’t let them get 3 wide open TD’s…..well we had a chance. Just like the TN/Missouri games this year, FL games of the past, you name it. But at least we are pretty much beating the D2 teams we should. That’s a plus.

Weird spot for the program. There was a clear ceiling when we were playing purely smashmouth, caveman offense Stoops ball. It wasn't pretty, but it was an identity that built us into a respected SEC foe.

We all knew a modern passing attack was needed to take the next leap. But it feels like we're one foot in, one foot out with that approach. I don't think Stoops will ever be 100% comfortable with it, and it shows. Maybe if we ever hit the lotto on a true stud QB, but that remains elusive.

Add all that to the new NIL landscape and expanding SEC, and things look as murky as they ever have since those first bowl-less years under piglet. The two 10-win seasons might have been the pinnacle for us. I hope not, but not sure how we break through.

Safe to say most of the fan base didn’t really GAF about this game judging by the # of posts on here, the fact I’m at the gym during it, my mom said it’s “on in the background”(she watches all the games normally), 3 of my best buds & biggest UK fans in Etown and 4 in Louisville are all out golfing right now.

I mean, might as well ignore the UGA, Bama, etc big games because we are not competing with them much less even considering winning them. Unfortunate but it’s the truth.

We look like TCU vs UGA in the champ game last year in all these type games. Overwhelmed, underprepared and unable to make the things happen (big plays, TOs, 3 & Outs, etc) that make upsets possible.
I've long maintained that we should just play scrubs in these sorts of games, since we're not really allowed to "forfeit" them. Why risk our ahem, BEST PLAYERS? We're going to need them healthy for when we play a "mediocre" SEC team that we have a chance to beat.

We get absolutely NOTHING from games like this.

I mean, QUITE LITERALLY, the BEST case scenario in one of these games is: Nobody important suffers a serious injury. I wish I was joking, but you know that I am NOT.

-the talent disparity against Bama is what it is... again, slow out of the gate.

^it's the little ****... trying to make Brown something he is not has killed us all year. He makes terrible decisions and mistakes constantly... and the coaches still rely on him way too much.

-also leary is too ******* short to play qb in the sec.

-get your **** together and beat uscjr, then louisville... go to the mayo bowl and play well. Otherwise this is a very disappointing season.

-Sadly...we aren't a basketball school anymore either. Hopefully we get where we need to be one again.

^the past means nothing.

Wow the interim coach at Michigan melted down after the game, crying and dropping F Bombs? Little much, no?

The O/U in the Iowa/Rutgers game is now 16.5. So it could be worse.

Ill be damned if I sit here and watch Nick Saban ruin another friendship

That was…..sobering

Mark Stoops has done a fine job, but he’s just not the one to get it to the other level. I don’t know if there is someone for UK that would. Are we happy with being average with maybe a couple upsets every year, or do we want to try and shoot for the stars with something that’s never happened? Obviously we chose 1, which I agree with

Kinda disagree here buddy. Our recruiting classes have been top25 and our portal dudes are elite.

We barely beat EKU, got manhandled by Mizzou and **** the ******* bed against UGA and Bama.

Our talent level may not be elite, but should be mildly competitive… which we aren’t.

Stoops has earned more than enough equity with me, but I still get pissed. Is it too much to ask to look competent in these games? Competitive even? Steal one every once in a while?

I’m cool with an occasional “down” year, but let’s at least go down swinging instead of turtling up. I thought the Stoops mantra was to play balls out, but recent data suggests otherwise. It’s frustrating to get reduced back to being an embarrassment, which the UGA and Bama efforts were.

Honestly I think we severely miss evaluated Leary but are stuck with him. I’ve not considered Leary’s height but he certainly has 2-3 batted passes a game, and I honestly thought he just locks on to his WRs making it easy for the defense to time.

I like our guys though, and next year we will be limited by a true FR QB, but I’ll understand it. As he gains experience as a Soph/Jr I think we will reach our ceiling. Our underclassmen RBs have talent, WRs 0 and 5 are good for FR, and the rest of our talent is better than it’s ever been all across the field.

The thing is we have to do what you are supposed to in the SEC. 3rd and long you bring the heat every time! You speed up the QB and try to pressure a mistake or sack. Until you are willing to make that call your team and their mentality will always be soft on every down as ours is.

- When it comes to offense Hosh Heupel is no Lane Kiffin.

Fans like Brady have invested so much of their money and souls into KY Football. His anger is well validated right now. The program is slipping. We all see it and is becoming more evident that Stoops does not have the answers.

We all love these sports too much.

Take the W/L out of it. We have been a fraud the past two years feasting on bums. We act tough. We aren’t. The first time somebody punches us in the face we just lay down.

We aren’t disciplined. We aren’t well coached. We aren’t fun to watch. We aren’t a good football team.

For $9,000,000 that’s not right.

The guys who made us all those things a few years ago passed away or took other jobs. That’s what my problem is with the situation.

Anwar Stewart may be the worst assistant in the SEC.

He is a Big 10 coach in the SEC. Stoops would absolutely wreak havoc in that conference if he is ever offered one of the big 3 in there he is out.

As is I hope Cutter Boley can bring out in Liam what we love about his offensive schemes.

Wreak havoc as what? A clueless headphone wearing pace the sidelines scowl at the refs clown?

Offensive schemes...do tell. Smh.

This is the first wk of those van Hiles cut-ups where I put more of the blame on the coaches than the players.

Some fundamental breakdowns. Leary and the secondary….woof!

Leary missed Bates wide open for TD on 4th down. Easy read. Blew it.

Trevin Wallace made about every wrong read you could when Milroe broke contain and run fits. Our LBs can’t cover in space on 3rd and long. It’s a joke. Mike Stoops should get fired immediately. JJ Weaver was supposed to be a force this year and has sucked.

Dropping 8 on third and long… have we EVER been successful with this approach? No. But hey the 65th time may be magical.

Ray Davis and play action offense can’t be utilized if you are down 21-0. Poor Ray. He’d be a legend if Shlarmann were still here.

Barion Brown has been the worst guy on the team with ball security and drops. Asshat should’ve been benched after the 4th game of the year to develop ANYBODY else. Curious as to why he seems to face zero consequence for being a *****.
