-Stoops isn’t leaving UK this year and he sure as heck isn’t getting hired by Michigan any time soon.
I also don’t think he’s okay leaving somewhere in the condition it is now. He’ll want to be able to always come back to Lexington and get standing ovations.
Cal OTOH is perfectly fine leaving anywhere in any condition. He’s already done that multiple times. I do think he wants to crush a season again once more before leaving though.
This is his last chance to have a “home” to come back to in his golden years. He seems to be trying.

It’s sports and they’re our chief rivals. I’m also obsessed with hating Indiana, UNC, Duke, Ohio State, the Big 10, the SEC, etc.
Hating is possibly the best part about being a sports fan. Wish I could carry this robust and rewarding hatred over to other parts of my life, but dammit, I just like people too much.
Maui always has 1 or 2 great matchups, but this field has to be the best ever?

-1st: they may very well beat the cats. But I'll be legit shocked if it's an *** whooping... UK is disappointing this year but uavel is significantly overvalued by playing in that **** conference. Exhibit A: Devin Leary. We'll see Saturday.
-2nd: I won't have to be reminded of anything. I have carefully curated my friendship circle/social media consumption... my few uavel friends won't bring it up, they've been vetted and also they know better.

-Saturday was the first *bad* loss, the others are 3 top 10 losses and ewe tee (top 25...but the cats could've won).
-Stoops has earned this two year stretch... he's proved he can do what he's supposed to do in the past.
^next year has to be better, period. His ****** up comments on nil made his situation *much* worse.
-for these reasons I'm not gonna puss out and ***** about next year... until next year, need be.

Those aren't "bad" losses, but we lost badly. Outscored 100-34 by UGA and Alabama. And Mizzou outscored us 38-7 after gifting us a 14-0 lead in the 1Q.
It's not losses to Top 15 teams. It's how utterly uncompetitive we have become in 2 seasons with arguably some of the best "talent" UK has ever seen.
Add this to the 44-6 debacle against Tennessee, and losing to Vandy, last year. Fans are justifiably restless (or angry).

Figure we’re going to the portal for a QB. Hopefully someone with more than one year of eligibility/work with the OC. I don’t see how you can attempt to compete in the SEC with a QB coming in with a preseason grasp of an offense. Hell- Joe Burrow took a season to get acclimated before taking off at LSU. And UK isn’t exactly presenting that sort of roster to a potential QB transfer.
The alternative is to recruit several high level HS QB recruits and hope one of them pans out, but that isn’t really a realistic option at most schools.
