If you had any modicum of hope for today and listened to the KSR pregame show, you lost it. Lots of conversation about guys quitting, Lemond deciding not to even make the trip (has he missed a road game the last two years?), and Maggard predicting a 38-10 Louisville win with “no mvp” doesn’t exactly give ideal vibes.

I don’t understand the disrespect toward Stoops like he is a slight to A&M or any other big football school.

Other than NIL money, there is absolutely no reason for Stoops to take the TAMU job. He'd be a fool to leave here where he's going to get the stadium named after him for any place other than Michigan, tOSU, FSU, LSU, Texas, and the other true premier football programs, imo.

I think Stoops is an above average/good recruiter. I think he is a below average coach that has benefited from having really good assistants. You are seeing it now that guys like Hood, Sumrall, Schlarmann, etc are all gone.
I don’t necessarily want him to leave but I think he has shown you can do it here with the right guy.
