We just beat the monkey piss out of Miami so I'm not freaking out about this game.

1) Dilly played like straight ***
2) Edwards is mid
3) Reeves was KSU-level anti-clutch
4) Mitchel missed a lot of shots
5) UNCW's best player was a bad ***
6) Wagner didn't play

I'm not freaking out about this

That’s exactly how you get bounced in March.

(you know, a TRUE friend would delete their post, that shamelessly points out my egregious error) LOL
Two weeks ago tonight, after the SC loss, BBdK and I got nasty (and personal) with each other in multiple post-1 am posts. We both deleted all, seemingly before anyone else noticed.

Clown, it's a shame that you and Hank don't share that level of friendship. 🙁

Here are a few thoughts regarding that disappointment:

1. CBB is changing. Weird losses by any blue blood is becoming common. I’m not sure real seeding takes place until late conference play.

2. It is fair to have doubt in our coach.

3. Edwards has to get it together. Kid does seem to care and play hard, unlike other overrated superstars we’ve had in the past. Hang in there, kid. Keep busting ***.

4. If Reeves plays bad, we’re f’ed. See: our last 3 losses.

5. Good coaches scout, plan, and adjust. Get ready.

6. The new ‘wood really pops on TV. Classic look.

7. We’ll see what Bradshaw brings. Not sure what to make of what I saw today other than Cal having no idea how to rotate and manage that lineup with him in there.

8. Cal would be better off not to be so condescending toward the fanbase. Reeks of thin-skinned insecurity. A little acknowledgment and humility will go a long way.

9. I’ll save heavy criticism until late January. The team really moves the ball well. Credit needs to go somewhere.

10. Wilmington played out of their ***.

Tre didn’t play (or was told not to play) on the perimeter. Curious to see how many 3s he took.

We weren’t hunting threes or setting guys up nicely.

Reeves is like DrJekyll / Mr. Hyde. Dude is awful when he’s cold.

-it's Dec 2.

^I'm *far* from a cal apologist... but ima give it a few more games til I get worried.

I’m not worried. I really quit having any expectations a long time ago. I was just pointing out that games like today when the things happen as Wayne listed. against an opponent that we all thought we should beat, are exactly how you get bounced in March. I think I’ve seen it before but I could be wrong, I was a raging alcoholic the last 10 years so a lot of it is just a blur.

KSR was giddy after Miami and went as far as saying “I don’t see how they all go cold because there are so many that can shoot, it would be cause for an investigation”

Was anyone shooting good? If not Cal is the best defense against his own team there ever was.

Assuming the committee goes

Michigan, Washington, Texas, FSU (they will because they’re cucks)

Louisville is going to back door into the orange bowl… where they’re going to get eradicated from the face of the earth by UGA or Ohio State.

What an end to the season for Bear Brohm.

If that’s the playoffs then the ratings would be horrible. No chance you leave an SEC team out.

Waiting...

Measured response...

It's December 2nd...

**** all of that. All of "that" would make sense if this wasn't an almost decade long pattern.

With the roster he has, to not be able to adjust, figure out a way to beat UNCfvckingW on you home GD floor is just criminal.

And this happens OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND FVCKING OVER AGAIN.

Cal is a sh*t fvcking coach, and has been for a LONG time. Anything positive, that this team does will have absolutely nothing to do with that sh* stain. Unless it is him, just staying the **** away from SAID team.

Fire his GD incompetent ***, or frame him for a crime.

I'm fine with either at this point.

"Cal didn't mean to do it. I shouldn't have burnt the toast, and forgotten to hang the bathroom towels up correctly. This? I ran into a door..."

I never wanted to say it until today, but Dillingham reminds me of a rich man's Ramel "Smooth" Bradley. I liked Ramel, but he did some dumbshit things every so often. Today was Dillingham's dumbshit game. I chalk it up to him being a freshman, not freaking out on Cal, and looking forward to the next game.

Freaking out on Cal...

The point where it stopped being unreasonable to make a blanket statement about his abilities has long since passed. The irrational POV is defending that incompetent turd.

I'd agree with you but we're four days away from running a top 10 team off the floor. I chalk this up to Wagner being out and 50% of our 6 guys who logged real minutes playing like ***.

All the previous disappointing squads of losers had games like that too. We blew Kansas out of Phog, we ran Tennessee off the court by 30. We routed a ranked West Virginia team in their gym. But it always ends the same way. We know it. It's pure cope to think otherwise. It's Cal.

If you watch the hype video they put out earlier today "The Journey" at halftime of the Miami game Cal is telling them to pass up threes if they can drive the rim. He's not bought into what's been working and now that he's getting his big beefy boys back he's ready to go back to that ****** grinding offense we all hate. That's what we saw today. He specifically said he wants Mitchell and Bradshaw in together and didn't put Bradshaw in until Mitchell had a break. He's got a vision for this team, and it sucks.

Never heard it as plainly stated as Krazy just did…. “Never seen a coach not covet wins like cal”. Couldn’t agree more.
Never heard it said like that but it’s dead on.
You sure?
It was +5.5 I was typing at work and yes it worked out but I don’t gamble much anymore.

-Flipping Direct TV at work took a 💩 and said millions of customers were out of their CBS contract so we couldn’t even get the game… 🙄

No SECN either so no bball game, thankfully.

-Cal is a moron, purposeful dickhead when he makes comments like that about Reed. It does NOTHING for you or the team or the fan base. It’s a comment he made because he wanted the response and fight.

I don’t get why he wants to fight the fan base so badly. He either is just so self-righteous he doesn’t realize it or he hates us and wants to tell us what to do and how to feel. Either way it’s terrible.

-Drew Franklin nailed it when he said, “I grew up in a time when you didn’t lose at Rupp.”

When I was growing up, at least once Pitino was established, we RARELY lost at home.

I remember being at the last game of the season, maybe Gillispie’s last, when we lost to UGA on senior night and it was like our 4th or 6th loss EVER on senior night and being like wtf? And that’s when I knew Billy had to go.

-And what did @MattJonesKSR say, no championship winner since 97 or so has lost a home non-conference game?

I think this is a fair post. I have been pleased with what I've seen this season up until today of course. I have been very hard on Cal for the last several years. I think the BJ Boston year was significantly worse than Billy G's worst year. I think Archie Goodwin's year was a national embarrassment.

But losing today to UNCW with a shorthanded team is not the end of the world. I think we should wait to see how the team plays in their next few games before we see if this is just a fluke or not.

Do we now have a shot at the Tampa bowl game?

Assume uga, Bama, mizzou, ole miss will all get the big games. LSU to citrus. That puts Tenn (most likely) or us to Tampa.
