UT beat us and has a better record. There is 0% chance we get the Outback/Tampa bowl over UT.

Makes the UT lose even tougher to deal with.

[SWFLwildcat06]

What about the Gator?

Man, Cards really lit it up last night. Six f’ing points.

Cal sucks and no weeknight game to get this **** taste out of our mouth.

[TCPUKChamps]

I thought it was understood we're playing Duke or Va Tech in the real Title Game. The Duke's Mayo Bowl

[wcc31]

Fairly easy decision IMO - in seed order:

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Bama

Florida State left out due to QB injury and limping down the stretch.

[ukalumni00]

I’d dare the whoever to leave the SEC out of the playoff.

DARE

Will be shocked if it happens. Politics and money alone, SEC rules the nest. ACC has minimal capital these days and anyone outside an FSU fan knows they should not get in.

[TCPUKChamps]

As someone with a Washington +2500 to win the National Title ticket in their hands...the only order that should be considered is:

Michigan
Washington
Florida State
Texas

Please and Thank you, committee.

In all honesty, this isn't that hard. 3 power 5 conf champs. Texas and Bama 4-5, they played on the field and Texas won in Tuscaloosa. Done and dusted.

F*** the SEC, they don't root for us in basketball against neutrals, not rooting for those Gumps to get in today.

Anyone have a ticket hookup for Kentucky @ Florida bball game on 1/6. Willing to pay obviously.

Reached out to UK and was told no.

Sumrall 11-2 again. 22-4 in two seasons at Troy .

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

Anyone on here actually familiar with/watch Troy St.?

What is Sumrall's secret? IOW, what type of defense does he run? Aggressive pressure?

[cut_itloosedoubledeuce]

I believe they just do everything well, solid in all phases. Have watched em a few times and I wouldn’t say anything is a gimmick.

[krazykats]

Is Kirk Ferentz leaving Iowa or something?

What’s it matter what Sumrall does?

I truly still believe Harbaugh goes back to the NFL.

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

I got head once, from a female Lt. in my Air Force unit that had recently graduated from Troy State/ROTC.

So naturally, I've got a soft spot for them.

She was actually the watch officer for Charlie flight, the crew I worked with in Germany. Alcohol was involved...

[CrittendenWildcat]

We have to tear out and burn the new court now, don't we?

Well ok, but I’d hate to hear your midevil times plan for our coach!

[cut_itloosedoubledeuce]

The committee has repeatedly made their choices on an “easiest to defend” position instead of the “best 4 teams” position.

If they continue that approach, they will go..

Michigan
Washington
Fla st (laughable)
Texas

[gobigbluebell]

Cal should go coach in that trendy lil church league where they don’t keep score, everybody plays, and praise the lord. That would be perfect for him.

If Calipari was an apostle:

(2 days after Jesus was arrested)

Calipari: "Jesus? I haven't seen him..."

I think this is what is going to happen - and it’s a joke. FSU isn’t close to what they were before their QB got hurt.

Looking for 3 here. If I find some, I’ll let ya know and pick up a 4th if you are for sure in?

No DJ, cold shooting, etc. the most concerning thing to me is that we saw less and less facilitating from Mitchell from the top of the key and more and more trying to feed the post. We are terrible at it, have been for years now, we turn it over, players start standing around, and even on a kick out it seems to result in one guy trying to go one on one late into the shot clock.

[Hank Camacho_rivals115797]

Duke lost to Georgia Tech last, too. If we can't win, we can at least enjoy a bit of schadenfreude, I guess.

Last night we were Sheppard and some dudes. That isn't going to get it done. We aren't good enough to really have any of our scorers be passive or, in the case of Dillingham, extra chromosomed.

The scariest thing is that as soon as Bradshaw returned for half a hiccup, Calipari immediately changed the offense and BBN saw it coming. We stopped the spread offense and started iso and trying to feed the post.

Here's some support for Strokin's post. Maybe some team of 28 year old mormons will win the title this year.

[wcc31]

- Fine with “big” picture, but these **** losses affect seeding.

- Wasn’t surprised in the least we came out flat- to be expected with a young team.

- Hopefully this opens people’s eyes to Wagner’s value. As good as we are, we will have games we aren’t hitting. Having a relentless driver is important.

Plus - surprise surprise we’re a guard short again this year.

- Obviously, I don’t want guys reinjuring themselves, but seems we have an “injury” culture different than nearly anyone else.

- I’m still fuming. This completely negates the Miami performance.

- We need some rim protection- but I don’t understand the “only with Mitchell” policy. The policy should be simple- “only with 3 guards.”

[Hank Camacho_rivals115797]

Bradshaw and Thiero seems like a solid combo to me -- but I'm not trying to please Bradshaw's representation by pretending to play him at the 4, just worrying about what's best for winning basketball games at the University of Kentucky.

A quaint idea, I know.

[TheShowKiller]

Also, other than our token press, it blows my mind that a coach making 9 mil a year with a lifetime contract can’t be bothered to switch up defenses…even if just for a few possessions to get the other team out of rhythm.

Nah, just rather toss Reed “and others that have no name” under the bus in the postgame presser..

[wcc31]

I’ll never understand the Rutledge obsession but this Jen Lada is absolute .

[Kooky Kats_anon]

Laura Rutledge is

Big, if true.

[Hank Camacho_rivals115797]

Also, it is really stupid for Bradshaw to want to play the 4. This is 2023, not 2003. An agile center who can protect the rim and guard unicorns on the perimeter while providing a credible shooting and rim running threat on offense might quite literally be worth a billion dollars in the modern NBA.

Like Livingston before him, trying to play a smaller position than his talent justifies is more likely to hurt rather than help his pro prospects. Our lardass coach needs to strengthen his pimphand with regard to this sort of nonsense.

[legalbeagle123]

55th SoS and second "best" win is barely beating ******-*** Louisville. Oh, and both of your QB's suck.

[krazykats]

Doesn’t feel like we are a guard short at all. Shep, Dillingham and Reeves are a better 3 than we have had in a few years. Still, to your point without arguing, what kind of a player see’s Wagner, Shep, and Dillingham commit with Reeves in the fold and wants to sit behind them even if we wanted a 5th guard?

- I made the point during the McD’s game or within a few minutes after that Wagner is the guy that holds people accountable, the leader.

For all that Shep is, he is doer and yes his teammates play better with him indirectly, but it’s Wagner that these kids don’t want to disappoint or “answer to”.

It was clear when he took over the McD’s game and they all just expected it and let it happen.

[MrKentucky]

Holy ****. They actually did it.

[wcc31]

Committee got it right.

Michigan
Washington
Texas
Bama

[SWFLwildcat06]

That changes up the bowl scenario, could play Clemson now.

Have you seen what Cal does with his centers?

The “he is playing the 4” is like mental gymnastics around Cal’s in the box 1990’s idea that all his centers are Marcus Camby.

[AIChatGPT]

Haha…eat **** ACC isn’t a power 5 conference this year.

[BleedBlueCats21]

Seeing this crybaby lose his mind is gonna be the best part of FSU getting left out.

[Kooky Kats_anon]

Knocks UofL from NY6 bowl, correct?

[BristolCat_rivals158386]

Loving all the butt hurt Louisville fans realizing the entire country sees their conference the same way we do.

They're basically back in the Big East. Great basketball (well, everyone but them.) and inflated nine win seasons that no one respects in football.

[BristolCat_rivals158386]

Michigan deserves the top seed after overcoming the tragic death of Coach Harbaugh.
