Salt the earth. I don't want Louisville to ever be "back" and I lose respect for Kentucky fans who say they do. I want to be the first sports program to successfully end its rivalry by permanently relegating the rival into oblivion.
Exactly. This is them finally getting what they deserved. NEVER FORGET!!!!11!!11!!

He’s 25. While absurdly old for college basketball (non BYU) he’s a relatively normal graduate student. I doubt he’s living in a dorm, on a meal plan, sitting in 200 student lectures.

My neighbor did the minor league baseball thing instead of college, but then went back to college (South Carolina) at age 22. So he was 26 when he graduated. He said that while it wasn’t a traditional experience, he said there was this crew of older athletes who stuck around for grad school and stuff like that who he ran around with. He said it was more like going to grad school except that he had classes with 19 year olds.

Tons of tickets left for tonight’s game. What’s the blue/red split tonight? 70/30, 80/20, dare I say 90/10?

Imo it’s 75/25 Blue, during the self proclaimed “Red Out”.

92-65

No one would call this a must win. But imo it’s a game that you cannot lose.

This game somehow always manages to worry me, in both sports, no matter who the players/coach are, nor what the rankings are.

It's really easy for 40-somethings to reminisce about going back to college and smashing hooers and living in dorms and chugging kegs beers and reliving their glory days in the mind, like "if I knew then what I know now."

But when you're that age, most people are ready to get TF out of college and go earn some money. So yeah, it would be weird being mid-to-late-20s and still in school.

Last night alone:

#5: Uconn, playing as well as anyone, lost by 12 to a marginal Seton Hall
#6: Marquette: Lost by 15 to unranked Providence
#7: Undefeated OU lost by 12 to UNC
#12: Creighton, reeling, lost to struggling Nova at home, who was missing their PG/best player

It's rough out there, especially on the road. Here's hoping we got our dumpster game out of the way already. Take care of business for the next 2 weeks, and we'll be sitting quite nicely.

Sure would be nice to enter a new year in/around the Top 5 where we ultimately belong; can't even remember the last time but trust it's been awhile.

A little Christmas miracle:

6 days ago wife's friend picked her pup up from the vet. He gets free, runs across a busy highway and gets hit. Gets up and and takes off further.

They had people out searching for him, hired a drone guy and blasted info everywhere. Thought he was spotted in our hood so attention kept growing.

Neighbor thinks they spot him. Owner just picked him up and he's at the vet getting a once over.

Zeke's home.

My 4.5 and 2.5 still have 3 great-grandparents alive (which is amazing since my wife and I were almost 40 when we married). Looks like we could lose 2 of them in the next week or 2.

Wife’s cousin, who she does not have any contact with anymore, was found dead from an OD yday.

All 4 of us are still sick, heavy coughs and aches. Sleep has been limited for everyone since last Friday. No one has left the house since last Thursday, except for medicine runs.

Cats by 18 tonight, 87-69.

Most depressed GYERO post ever.

Lost a decent chunk of my bankroll putting both UCONN and Creighton in some CBB ML parlays I had running last night.

Dammit.

6pm EST on a Thursday. What a goofy *** date/time that will ultimately require special effort to view at all for tons of fans on both sides, I'm sure.

Thankfully GYERO men don't have these issues, but Imagine if this was THE game as it's been so many years? ********, imo.

It beats the hell out of the game being on Christmas Eve or whatever. 7 pm is the undisputed best time to start a college basketball game but I'm not mad at any 6 pm start.

I guess it’s super early because of some bowl game later but a 6pm Thursday tip Marcus be on FS1 or CBSS network. It always feels little strange when this game isn’t on a Sat afternoon.

I'll take it over these BS 9:30pm SEC games KY seemingly always gets put in.

That line is insane. UK -13.5 is a trap if I ever seen one and it’s almost tempting to bet it anyway as Vegas does give those WTF gifts every once in awhile.

Naturally it’s been bet up to 15.5 now so sadly I expect a close game.

Plus Groover and Adams are calling it so I fully expect them to inject themselves somehow. No way am I touching this one with a 10ft pole.

I do fully expect us to win but it wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t cover 15.5 just because weird things always happen in these games.
