We went 7-6 with an NFL starting QB last year. Like I said and mean if you watch these games and think we are a well coached group you can f**k off.

I give players like Leary hell for being Leary, and for guys like Key and Brown for chirping way too much, but this team has been trending for years as undisciplined, stupid, and mistake prone.

Add to that, the legit questions about strategy, and you have to put a lot of blame on the coaching staff.

I think Levis really missed the rapport he had with Coen. I chalk up a lot of his issues last year to that.

The stupidity and mistake prone stuff, while it does fall on the coaches ultimately, might also have to do with UK taking flyers on some guys that even though they had high offers, wouldn't get away with that stuff and continue to play at the elite programs. But here, they're so much ahead of everyone else, you kind of have to live with it I guess.

We sacked the QB today 6 times before the 4th quarter, and I don’t remember pressuring him at all in the 4th quarter, but I know for a fact we didn’t the last drive.

If nothing else they score quick if they beat the pressure and with 3 TOs we get a decent shot to score again.

That said that isn’t even a game if it wasn’t for 3 straight turnovers and the defense getting wore out facing quick short fields.

It was the turnovers. That's the long and short of it. UK had a better game plan, was the better team, but coaches can't control that ridiculousness that WAS those turnovers.

You forgetting the corner blitz that caused the 3rd and 18? That's the thing that frustrates me about the decision to rush 3 in this situation. We had rushed 4 or more several times in the game with great success, why make it easy for them there? It's almost like we thought giving them 12 meant they would punt or something. Incredibly spineless football.

The rest of the point is valid though, a pick and two fumbles is tough to overcome. As someone said, the end of that game was a microcosm of our season. The offense put our defense in ****** positions over and over again. We were explosive, then we weren't. And, finally, Leary threw a horrendous pick due to the slightest bit of pressure in his face to end the game. The only way for it to be more accurate would have been for Brown to get open again and Leary to just bomb it out of bounds.
