Was at that Florida game where Tayshaun hit that sweet lefty hook to win the game, what a smooth cat he was. Also was at the UNC game when he hit those 5 threes. Those were my personal loudest moments. However it’s very humbling to see the quality of those highlights when we were students there look like those of a Charlie Chaplin film. Tubby even looks young there. Like WTF how old am I getting

Was at both of those too. The Puppy Scent moment is the single loudest I’ve heard at Rupp - loved how it built to a crescendo too.

Only in GYERO could you get the actual correct answer to this question. Props.

Yeah. Those crowds were just different. Appreciative, rabid, and starving.

Literally every deep attempt was a deafening “Threeeeeeeeee” from the entire crowd on release - like a Blue/White cheer on the gridiron, except all game/every game. 😳

DanielKSR ftw:

Crowd ridiculousness:

The “cup snake,” and catching an extra point ball in the stands, then tossing it up and out of the stadium over the top railing is awesome.

Please don’t embarrass yourself and disagree.

- I’ll put Maryland December 1998 up against any of them.
Yep. That was my senior year at UK and I was in the front row center court of the upper deck. Most consistently loud game I have been to. Loudest moment was the Tayshaun 3 from midcourt against Carolina.

That Maryland game was awesome. Still pissed at Tubby for that year. That team deserved better than punking out in the elite 8.

Was also there for Slay’s Rupp finale. The standing O he received leaving the game as an ultimate villain was a pretty cool moment & reminder of BBN excellence; pure appreciation of a genuine 3/4 year rivalry & back & forth with a hated group of guys.
If you told me Slay was a 5th-year senior this year, I might believe it. He's pretty high on the list of opponents who seemed like they were in college FOREVER.

Great stuff today on the loud crowds and past UF games. It may have been the one PTI mentioned in 2002-03, but I remember Dickie V just beside himself when we dismantled a top-ranked Florida team. "This is embarrassing" and we truly made them quit during that game.

UT has the most players that were hateable, but UF has the players that were most hateable (Noah and Walsh top the list).

I mean I get your point, but I loathe Allan Houston during and after his time at UT, add in Tony Harris, Yarborough, Slay, Scotty Hopson and Grant Williams and I could debate Walsh is a big nothing to me……..but Noah man, shew I wish Rondo legit beat his ***!

I didn’t think Hancock belonged on the court most of the time and had a very pedestrian YMCA old man out of place feel, but he didn’t get under my skin much.

Now BJ Flynn, that stupid little bia could DIAF and it would be fitting.

That makes me wonder though what makes a player hatable for you all?

My number 1 most hatable player ever is Corey Beck.

BJ Flynn was a little ***** at UofL. Always hated Chris Mullin for trying to gouge out Kenny Walker's eye (and why Kenny started wearing gogggles).

So for the gambol crowd UF -3 as a home unranked vs #6 in the country is the play?

In football that would be as much of a lock as you could hope for.

Looks like Vegas thinks our young guns are going to struggle on the road. Went from a one point favorite to 3.5 point dog. These are the games we need to pull off.

UT/Auburn don’t have to play at Rupp or Auburn/UT where we go on the road to each. Can’t start out our normal 0-1 today.
