Gotta get that money. I remember when we had a lot more snow when I was a kid and still got out in early May. We also started the school year after the State Fair. Greedy bastiches anymore.

3 snow days would put Fayette county into June they’re already going past Memorial Day because they started a week later this year.

As long it’s an NTI day rather than Zoom instruction it’s fine. Knock out the work in the morning and play in the snow after lunch.

I think school should go year round with built in time off. 3 weeks off at Christmas, 2 weeks for spring break, 3 weeks in Summer and 2 for Fall break. Snow days can be added to which ever break.

Or something along those lines. The amount off and time of year could be altered.

Ours send a packet home and it's considered NTI. Lol. I'm all for it. Knock out the work early and not have to make it up at the end of the year, which was always dumb.

Looks like we'll after next we might actually get some real winter. Let's hope for a decent snow.

You aren’t rooting for strange 70 degree temps & tornados?

Would make for a potential nice lil ride or picnic window if we can get some crazy warm winter weather through here soon.

-Indiana at home is literally a 10-15 pt fake advantage vs the same game on the road. Those bums are a bubble+ team at home, and barely CBI material otherwise. Going on a decade.

What a joke program. Auto bet if reasonable at Assembly. Clowns

-I’d love to have a decent snow while I’m here.

-Looks like I’m staying through the UGA game, Mom has mentioned no less than 3x today how much fun it would be to go to a game together.

Happy to oblige.

So A&M is just a total fraud this year? Weren’t they the favorite in the west and top 15 to start the season?

That's a far different thing than the absurdity that is virtual classroom instruction, when a lot of the kids, if they even try, can't even sign into, because grandma still has dialup/AOL/Has no idea what a router is/doesn't know the wifi password/spends 4 goddamn hours trying to follow your instructions.

I know we reelected this dumbass that kept kids at home for 2 school years. However, an hour or so of pretending to school while doing some homework rather than extending the year it's a good thing.

Nothing new but Travis Perry had a night.

I can’t help myself to think what could be if he and Shep are the big blue backcourt next season.

I know I’m repeating myself and will again, but my gawd as a UK fan that saw Rex carry us, and the unforgettables, Epps point guarding 96, Shep Padgett and Mills in 98, Rondo, Miller, Hawkins, Willis ……..it just means more when KY boys are doing it in blue.

I'm going to give it up to Ugo today, 6 pts and 5 boards along with some solid D. He rebounded in traffic. He had that nice finish where he ran the court and got the and1, then sank the FT after the timeout. And there was of course that beautiful left-handed jump hook. This is exactly what we need him to be. Not spectacular, just solid.

What the hell is up with Muss and Ark. 32 pt blowout on your home court. I see that they did beat UNCW though 😳

- Now that was one hell of a game. Goat to Hero game for Bradshaw. Let's see what he does from here.

- Got work to do, but we lose that game 95% of the time in the last ten years.

- I thing UGO can be a big benefit for this team. Our bigs might be too thin though. Worries for March.

- But oh Edwards. how can you be a top 5 rated high school player and be so weak in college?

- At Auburn is going to be a problem.

- The screw job that happened to TCU at Kansas might be one of the worst ref screw jobs I have ever seen.

- Colorado St cost me $3900 and BYU cost me $1300 on FD. FML Maximum.

- No snow days for kids is another screw job.

- Snow flurries in Lex.

Notes from yesterday:

- My son played in a middle school local tourney all day and then our program had a game in the evening yesterday so I had to catch up through YouTube tv last night, which is an awesome service btw.

- We have a team full of ballers that have great bball IQ. Cal is letting them play and motivating/adjusting when need be. That’s the coach I put my trust in.

- Sometimes it’s as simple as making your shots and the other team missing theirs. That was the story of the 2nd half.

- Adri ERRR ‘‘dk mentioned it, but this team has a special chemistry it seems. I get a lot of 2017 vibes from this bunch.

That’s the last roster that really hit me emotionally. And it was definitely due to the Ky high school connection that krazy mentioned earlier. Ky dudes just know how to play.

- Gonna lose a couple in this conference so get ready. At some point we’re gonna have to guard when we are struggling to score.

- Really cool to see our “grow up and grow together” game come in early Jan instead of late Feb when we’re hovering around the 5-7 seed line.

- Kansas gets that whistle. It’s nothing new. And you know what? I ain’t mad at them.

Hear me out. They’re a Blueblood that has dominated their conference for years. Allen is supposed to be a tough place to play.

What pisses me off is why can’t UK get that same home Blueblood whistle??? Kansas gets it. Duke gets it. UK should too.

- AiChat is obviously some retread poster who’s been run from here before. Can read it in his(???) tone. Chill bro. Your new gimmick will work better if you let the past be the past, my man.

Old man Shepp isn't a KY boy. But carry on.

It was funny- coming out of half, I expected Cal to hang with Dillingham and thought that may pay dividends.

He pretty much clipped Dillingham’s wings but showed faith in Bradshaw.

Turned out to be a great call. Props to Cal. I certainly was calling for no 7-footers.

Dillingham is pretty high on the draft boards right now, but he’s one guy who I think needs another year of college ball. He’s got the skills and the athleticism, but I think he needs a year of being an alpha. He won’t get that in the G-League or on the bench of an NBA team.

He meant in Gainesville I presume or being very facetious. Either way , enjoy the W.

Cal is a changed man.

A caller on the postgame show made the comment about how much better we have been on OOB plays. He suggested it was due, possibly, to the new assistants and Matt disagreed giving Cal the credit. I can’t believe that the new assistant hasn’t had anything to do with the night and day difference.

It’s an assistant but the man in charge gets the glory for changing and allowing it to happen. That’s just one of a few things he’s allowed to change for the better. Head man ultimately makes call, head man gets credit for changing.
