How UKO doesn't live in Florida stuns me. You could argue that eating a banana is considerably healthier than chugging red bull and that fool would come in here talking about the nutrients a red bull provides.

Reeves absolutely killed some dude early with his new little cross over last night.

That mixed with his floater and shot makes him a pro.

I really want to enjoy watching this team, but I'm afraid Cal is going to start losing on purpose come March. I hope that doesn't happen. It really makes me mad when he tells players to play bad instead of playing good. Fingers crossed 🤞
Nobody has ever accused cal of any bs like that. When he does stupid ****, he's going to get called out whether you understand why or not.

Also, if you send me an email without telling me you’re sending me an email, you may as well about at the clouds, I’m not opening it. I’ve been burned 163 too many times with the black man’s dick and things I just honestly don’t care about.
Maybe leave black men's dicks alone 🤷

Dilly is going to be something in the NBA. Reed and his lack of ability to defend guys one in one will match up well in the NBA since nobody plays much defense until the playoffs. Wagner keeps getting better and better. KY will have the best back court in the tournament and guys (although young) who will not GAF about the moment. A lot to work on but the pieces are there.

Edwards has been closer to The Dragon thus far than frosh TJ/PJ. Jones was SEC freshman of the year ffs 😂

I said path, not stats even though PJ was 10/6 and Edwards is 8/4 so not too far off there.

Both were thought to come in and be easy 1 and done’s and both had to stay much like I think Edwards is going to have to at this point.

10/6 is 25% and 50% more production per game over 8/4. It’s even more important when your team scores 72 a game instead of 90.

I feel like Reeves should just stand in the corner and not really move up any higher than the FT line. Let the guards do what they do, kick it out to him, and let him shoot or attack.

Yes, and PJ also got 5 more minutes a game too.

I’m not defending Edwards when I say the preseason possible #1 projected NBA draft pick is on a path to have to come back.

Shew.

Every few minutes Cal yells random things at each of his assistants. About 90% of it is about the same as what we are yelling to our TV. They mock him behind his back. I’m no Cal fan. The way he acts on the sidelines or coaches most of the time. But the way those guys treat him behind his back is pretty embarrassing.

The other 10% he has coaches yelling and giving orders all at the same time. He has to tell those goofs to STFU.

Antigua was wearing tube socks with his suit last night so maybe he should learn how to dress and STFU. The guy gave him a job when he should be out of college basketball. Show some respect.

-Dilly weird case. He's unbelievable. Still gets way out over his skis and reminds me a damn Jack Russel. Not comparable to any player I can think of in recent history. He's gotta be one of the best scorers we've had under Cal. Love him end of game b/c he is'nt going to play Cal stall ball.
Totally agree, kid is always in attack mode

*I'm a huge Tre Mitchell fan, what a gift from the heavens that guy has been. Can't lay off of him because he shoots it so well, rebounds in traffic, can be a post scorer in mismatches, defends to the best of his ability, really nice facilitator, just an overall adult and leader.

*Edwards is not a very good lateral athlete - much like Poythress - with a head of steam on a straight-line drive he can really jump and finish, at any time he has to make a lateral move or is disturbed in his momentum to the goal he becomes pedestrian...and weak. None of this is to say he can't improve or be a valuable member of the team. We won't get it but a second year to put weight on and learn to finish through contact would be huge for that kid.

*We need Theiro back, asap.

*Reeves has added so much to his bag, can he play in the league? The spacing of this team really helps him as well, he was getting quickly doubled on drives last year.

*Wagner started out this year wanting to finish in one way and teams sat on it, now that he his mixing in some right-hand finishes and knocking down the 3 at a decent clip he has become so much more efficient.

*Reed's defense is about the most feast/famine that I can remember from a UK player...he can be totally disruptive with his hands and energy and at the same time get cooked by mediocre players off the bounce. Cal seems to have accepted it, the good outweighs the bad...and obviously on offense we are just better when he is playing.

*Rob is an agent of chaos, he causes panic in defenses (and probably our coaching staff) because he is completely unpredictable. I'm proud of Cal for letting him play through a lot of it, you have to if you want the best attributes of that type of player.

*I don't really have strong opinions about either of our 7 footers, they are fine.

Hey man, I’m not the one sending it or thinking it’s still funny mmkay.

I’m sure BeaveUK or whatever still sends it and thinks it’s hilarious. I think he’s the only person I have blocked after 20 years on here, says a lot.

Agreed.

I’m not defending Edwards when I say the preseason possible #1 projected NBA draft pick is on a path to have to come back.

Anthony Davis was also the preseason number 1 pick. And I wouldn't say he struggled early on because his D and rebounding was never an issue, but he had a stretch of games (UNC, IU) where he wasn't scoring (or even shooting) a whole lot and we didn't really see the full repertoire of his offensive moves. Then all of sudden it seems like he just started doing some really impressive stuff on offense.

Point is, maybe Edwards will have a break-out, but whereas we were never really worried about AD, I have my doubts about Edwards.

Love the lateral comparison -- throw Bradshaw in there as well (I still don't know what he is, exactly). But Poythress was a damn good athlete otherwise...Edwards is just pedestrian in *every* area of basketball (right now).

Sure, he does some good stuff on occasion, but so would anyone else starting & playing 25-30 auto minutes every single game with *this* group of creators. Hell, Burks would probably have nearly as many positive plays if he was guaranteed that regardless of performance for every game so far.

I did like Cal doing everything he could early 2H to get him going. It was almost like he told the team, "Look, Justin has to shoot & attack everything he sees this first segment, and is Option #1. If he doesn't, he's out" Didn't really work, but can see the reasoning....we need him to be good.

-Also, this has to be ***** *** Wolken's best Tweet ever. And same, as Anth has alluded to.

Interesting point... and one of the more frustrating things about Cal which is he rewards high ranking guys over lower ranked guys who have earned the PT.

BJ Boston was the greatest example of that. That dude was not a good college basketball player, and Cal kept going to him regardless of performance.

That said, perhaps Cal is just playing the long game knowing he'll never lose a top recruit because the top recruit is worried about Cal not giving him run.

One of my favorite things in life right now happens every Monday when the polls come out. My 8-year old son will ask to borrow my phone to see the rankings. He'll notice immediately that a 3-loss Tennessee team is still ranked one spot higher than us. Then he'll give me the look and do the hand motion of the guy in the GIF below and explain, in detail, why it's ******** we're not ranked higher.

Espns Low just reported that Saban just retired? Bleacher report as well. However nothing on ESPN app yet.

Does Kirby leave Georgia?

So That’s why we are pulling these top athletes from both schools, neither are retaining their coach.

It’s official. It’s on Finebaum.

The best thing about Dilly is that he has 0 memory and 1 gear. A lot of kids can let a game like he had against Florida get in their head and cause them to play tentatively, but not our boy Rob.

There's a ton of talk about big name coaches getting fed up with the portal ******** and ready to high tail it to the NFL. Couple that with the fact that the NFL is handing out absurd salaries and you can see why a guy like Kirby Smart would listen to Atlanta. Hell, he just lost another transfer QB to USC just yesterday. I couldn't imagine having to constantly recruit like they do now.

Kirby ain't going. Bama will beg and throw a truck-load of cash at him. But he's got it better at UGA.

I just don't know if Lane has the polish for that job. But he'd kill it there.

If this happened 2-3 years ago, Dabo would probably be a big-time contender. Can't imagine Bama fans being satisfied with his record the last couple seasons.

Uh. Brian Brohm——some Louisville fan probably

The order of operations is
Harbaugh (gotta make him say no)
Smart (same)
Then Kiffin or Oregons coach.

I’d like to see Smart to Alabama. Dabo to Georgia.
